Abstract: A sit and climb tree stand uses a wedging tree engagement bar to provide for positive support in the tree with minimal tree damage. A self-locking leveling feature is provided which allows the user to adjust the level when at the desired elevation.
Abstract: A liquid crystal display depth finder using a sonar transducer is provided with a plurality of input keys interfaced to a microprocessor with each input key being dedicated to a particular function or feature usable with the depth finder. The microprocessor is utilized to control the operation of the transducer and the display of the data generated thereby in accordance with the particular function or set of functions chosen by the operator and to manipulate programming stored within the depth finder which will enable a tutorial mode comprising alphanumeric information and command key indication such that an the user may determine how the machine is to properly function.

Abstract: A spring loaded bait holder includes two detachable J-shaped fish hooks clamped together by a biasing device. After attachment of the apparatus to a fishing line, a portion of bait may be inserted and retained between the hooks. The biasing device presses the hooks together and securely holds the bait in position during casting or extended immersion in water.
Abstract: A rider truck lift utilizes a see-through mast assembly and a forwardly positioned rider compartment to improve visibility of the load for the operator. The rider compartment is accessible from either side of the truck and comprises a low-rise deck which allows for one-step ingress and egress. A pseudo-tricycle wheel arrangement provides for a tandem articulated rear wheel steering assembly that reduces tire wear and improves maneuverability.
Abstract: A screed chair having a base member and at least one threaded vertical member mounted therein supports a screed pipe on a yoke offset from the vertical member such that the yoke and pipe are isolated from rotation during rotation of the vertical member to adjust the height of the screed pipe.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for reducing the residual ash from a cyclonic wood by-products burner utilizes an expanded combustion chamber directly connected to the burner outlet to maintain the exhausted air within chamber at a temperature of 2200 degrees to 2400 degrees F for an extended dwell time as compared to previous devices to complete combustion of the ash residue and lessen deposits on the contents of a downstream kiln.
Abstract: A removable arm rest apparatus for use in a truck cab utilizes an upright tubing structure and a flat arm support member projecting normally outward therefrom. Compressive mounting means enclosed within the uppermost end of the tubing structure position the tubing structure firmly between the cab roof and cab floor. A washer encircling the tubing structure positions the arm support member at the desired location. Movement of the washer along the longitudinal axis of the tubing structure adjusts the height of the arm support member relative to the cab floor. The apparatus may be easily removed and disassembled for storage and subsequent use in another truck cab.
Abstract: Ocular perfusion during intraocular surgery of the anterior or posterior ocular cavity is optimized through the method of using a gas pump having a discernible and controllable output pressure to pressurize a reservoir of liquid infusate, which is supplied under pressure to a surgical infusion instrument for perfusion of the selected ocular chamber (Gas Forced Liquid Infusion, GFLI). The infusate selection and the infusate pressure can be controlled with a high degree of accuracy and both can be rapidly varied by audible command. Preferentially a human sensible indication of pressure is constantly available at the gas pump.

Abstract: An attachment for railroad track maintenance equipment utilizes a parallelogram linkage to position a vibrating skid on the surface of the interstitial ballast intermediate railroad crossties to loosen such ballast for subsequent removal by an undercutter device which is a part of the track maintenance equipment.
Abstract: A dispensing tool for use with dry chemical fire extinguishers utilizes an elongated wand bent near the discharge end through which the chemical is delivered. A dispersion baffle is affixed at the outlet of the wand to deflect the chemical radially. A horn surrounds the baffle and redirects the chemical in a dispersed stream onto a fire at a much lowered velocity such that the impact of the chemical on the burning material does not dislodge sparks or embers which lead to secondary fires.
Abstract: A massaging bed that provides a deep penetrating massage utilizes a narrow tread roller assembly reciprocated by a carriage beneath a flexible cover member. The roller assembly provides essentially point contact with the user's body such that the upward force of the roller assembly is concentrated in a small area which by virtue of the rotation of the roller assembly and reciprocation of the carriage moves laterally and longitudinally in a non-repetitive pattern.
Abstract: A rotary packaging apparatus for non-free-flowing material synchronizes the discharge rate of material in an auger emptied hopper with the speed of rotation of a funnel carrying wheel which engages a continuous series of containers such that material is uniformly deposited in the packets. A plurality of hoppers may be provided to permit packaging more than one material into a packet.
