  • Patent number: 4030286
Abstract: A link drive chain repair tool includes a base plate upon which a pair of upstanding longitudinally aligned stud elements extend from its upper face. Clamping means depend from the lower face of the base plate for clamping of the base plate to a surface of the machine driven by the drive chain. One of the stud elements is threaded so as to receive a clamp nut thereon to receive the drive chain to the base plate. A pair of elongated link support members are positioned in spaced parallel relation on the upper face of the base plate to one side of the aligned stud elements so as to be adapted to provide lateral support for an adjacent pair of inner links of the drive chain during removal of a connecting outer link.

  • Patent number: 4029096
Abstract: A foot powder dispensing device includes a housing which is open at one end thereof for reception of a person's foot and is adapted adjacent its other end to support a foot powder container so that the lower discharge end of the container extends into the housing. A treadle element is provided which is pivotably supported at one end thereof by an apertured base of the housing. The treadle element is spring biased upwardly adjacent its other end. An upstanding apertured wall is located within the housing adjacent the free end of the treadle element to thereby define, together with the inner adjacent surfaces of the housing, a powdering chamber. Depression of the treadle element by one's foot forces a stream of air into the powdering chamber and entrains a quantity of powder therein for application to and between the toes of the foot.

  • Patent number: 4026551
Abstract: A baseball pitcher's target includes a rebound wall surface which is divided into an upper half section and a lower half section. Each of the half sections is tapered rearwardly from the horizontal mid-point of the wall surface. The upper half section thus imparts an upwardly directed force component to a ball which strikes it whereas the lower half section imparts a downwardly directed force component to a ball which impinges upon such surface. Additional elements are secured to both the upper and lower half sections to impart laterally directed force components to a ball which strikes them and arcuately contoured elements are secured to both of the half sections, the arcuately contoured elements secured to the lower half section imparting a downwardly directed force component to a ball which strikes them whereas the arcuately contoured elements secured to the upper half section impart an upwardly directed force component to a ball which strikes them.

  • Patent number: 4026062
Abstract: A fish line sinker includes an elongated relatively heavy body in which there is a pair of longitudinally extending bores. One of the bores is dimensioned to slidably retain a fish line positioned therein and the other bore is dimensioned to clamp the fish line positioned therein such that it cannot move relative to the sinker body. The sinker body is slit radially so as to be separable to permit the insertion of a fish line in one of the bores, and a spring clip is provided to retain the separable body in its non-separated state. The sinker can thus be secured to the fish line without the need to cut the fish line, and the sinker can be slidably or fixedly secured to the fish line depending upon the bore selected to retain the fish line.
