Abstract: An apparatus for mounting ceiling fan blades onto ceiling fan blade mounting ring rotor extension. The fan blade attachment mount is can be adapted to fit a multitude of fan rotors configurations. The appearance of the mounting and support members is aesthetically pleasing and the mounting apparatus provides a stable connection between a plurality of ceiling fan blade assemblies and a variety rotor extension mounting surfaces of a ceiling fan.
Abstract: A method of tracking and monitoring the temperature of a food product from point of origin until it is removed from the display case by the consumer for immediate transport to the point of sale. As a plurality of food products are delivered to a store and put into a storage facility, a sensor is associated with a group of food products. The sensor is adapted to simulate the temperatures of the associated products using “learning algorithms”. As the food products are removed from storage to the preparation area, the sensor is also moved to the preparation area. During preparation, the temperature data may be added to the product label. Then, the product is loaded into a display fixture. The display fixture has a network interface that activates a cooling system for the display fixture upon activation by the sensor.
Abstract: This invention describes an improved bow saw having a stabilizing elongated handle extension comprising a connecting device and elongated handle. The handle extension is positioned and secured at one of several angles onto the bow portion of a bow saw. It is useful for a full range of vegetation removal and upkeep and it affords greater ease of cutting for tree trunks and low lying branches and brush.
Abstract: This invention relates to a method and apparatus for loading sliver onto a sliver tray placed in a designated location in a semi-truncated conical shape without using spindles. This invention enables sliver S spun out of a coiler system C to be accommodated in a semi-truncated conical shape and loaded onto the sliver tray T, which was already placed in a designated location. The device enables the accommodation of sliver S to be formed in a semi-truncated conical shape capable of standing independently and without requiring the use of spindles. The coiler system C has been removed from the drawing frame 11 so that the device is able to move in three directions X, Y, Z either front/rear, left/right, and upward/downward. These three directions can cross one another at right angles.
Abstract: A rail apparatus that is attachable to a support surface such as a set of telescoping bleachers and is capable of remaining attached when the support structure is in either an extended, open position or a retracted, closed position. The rail apparatus has a P-shaped handle portion integral with a shaft element that is connected to the support surface through a mounting system having a support socket and spring system. The mounting system is connected to the support surface either on the front, top or side thereof. The spring system is inside the lower portion of the shaft and provides a force that keeps the handle portion of the rail apparatus in place within the support socket, yet allows for the handle portion to be rotated to various other positions if desired.
Abstract: This invention relates to a silver compression method and device. By using the compression method of this invention, the loaded sliver is reduced without requiring the use of spindles and thus allow for easier handling in the next process.
Abstract: A method for creating peelable or frangible seals comprising the steps of: 1) selecting a first planar film with a polyethylene based resin disposed on its surface; 2) defining a frangible sealing zone on a surface of the first planar film; 3) heat sealing a second planar film to the frangible zone where the second planar film has a seal surface comprising a plurality of polymers; and 4) cooling the first and second planar films and frangible zone. A seal is created whereby peeling away the second planar film causes a rupture in the polymers disposed on the second planar film's surface.
Abstract: An instant-type camera for producing collage photographs is provided, the camera comprising an overlay transparency designed to fit above a film pack in the camera, the overlay transparency having a predetermined image thereon and a generally gray background of a specified density, whereby photographs produced by the camera include the predetermined image from the overlay transparency such that a unitary and realistic collage photograph is produced.
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for preventing unauthorized operation of an engine of a motorized vehicle having a cellular telephone whereby certain DTMF tones must be generated on the cellular telephone prior to the engine of a motor vehicle being operational.
Abstract: A punching bag support apparatus is provided comprising a mounting plate, a pivot shaft, an elongated rail rotably attached to the pivot shaft, and a trolley frame slidably riding on and supported by the rail, thereby enabling a punching bag supported on the trolley frame to be moved rotationally about the central vertical axis of the support apparatus as well as able to be linearly moved through the central vertical axis of the support apparatus.
Abstract: A cover is illustrated for confining in compression a bale of cotton being transported to a textile mill. The cover is warp knitted from cotton mote yarn spun on an open-ended apparatus, possesses a yarn count of 3 to 12 and is of Atlas stitch construction produced by using suitable lapping movements in conjunction with two or more partially-threaded guide bars.
Abstract: A hypodermic syringe is provided having a barrel with a movable plunger therein to inject a fluid through a hollow needle thereof which is housed within a passageway of a needle assembly that is attached to the barrel by ultrasonic welding means or other permanent attaching means. Positioned between sacrificial supports in the needle assembly and the barrel is a deformable base. The deformable base houses an enlarged head of the needle which is in contact with energy storage means within the passageway of the needle assembly. The plunger has a rupturable boot thereon which, upon completion of an injection, contacts a deformable base forcing it downward and severing a sacrificial support means within the needle assembly thereby permitting the base to move the enlarged head of the needle downward, until it is blocked by the passageway. Further movement of the base forces the enlarged needle head from the base and into contact with the rupturable boot.
