Abstract: Installing of an SAE standard hydraulic clutch master cylinder, with a threaded push-rod, on an automobile firewall and operable by a pivotally mounted pedal/pedal arm assembly has a cylinder bracket with SAE standard cylinder mounting provisions and also provides a pivotal connection axis perpendicular to the cylinder axis for mounting the cylinder to a reinforcing plate which bolts to the firewall. The cylinder bracket pivots on a horizontal axis and is clamped in position with the push-rod extending to connect to the pedal so that it is aligned with the cylinder axis. The push-rod has a stop which limits fluid displacement by the master cylinder.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for joining angularly oriented side planar members into an otherwise orthogonal awning frame of open ended side plane and transverse members joined by fitted right angle connectors has the angularly oriented member cut to length at end angles that provide a flush fit to the side plane members at transverse member connections and lengths of formed right angle section material, cut at the same flush fitting angles as the tubing end angle cuts, for fastening to inwardly facing surfaces of the planar and transverse members, so as to present a smooth exterior surface for supporting an awning cover.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for bi-directional exercising of upper body muscle groups including the steps of mounting lever arms for pivotal movement about primary and secondary axes; arranging the axes so that they are essentially perpendicular and intersect at a shoulder of a user, wherein the user exercises by grasping the lever arms and pivoting each of them independently about both axes simultaneously moving them close together from an extended position, with resistance opposing such exercise movements.
Abstract: The present invention discloses an earth moving or similar machine having an operator positionable primary implement having symmetrically aligned and horizontally opposite connecting bosses for connecting to a secondary implement having upwardly extending hook members, each with an open face, and ramp portions leading from the open face to seat portion and a recurved point, extending toward the ramp portion, so that the machine operator can connect the hook members to the connecting bosses by maneuvering the machine and positioning the primary implement.
Abstract: A crown molding miter gauge has first and second straight edges extending oppositely tangent from circular members wherein one of the circular members includes a Cartesian reference chart reconfigured as a concentric circular chart, fixed with respect to the first straight edge, and the second straight edge is concentrically rotatable, so that the first and second straight edges may be conformed to a wall corner wherein the second straight edge acts as the horizontal reference of the reconfigured Cartesian chart and an indicator, fixed with respect to the second straight edge, acts as the vertical reference of the reconfigured Cartesian chart.

Abstract: Apparatus for thermoelectric cooling of an insulated enclosure having a plurality of thermoelectric cooling units, with their cold sides exposed to the enclosure interior, where they are affixed to an array of individual, self-sufficient interior heat pipes through a conductive metal connecting member. Their hot sides are exposed to the ambient exterior and similarly affixed to an array of individual, self-sufficient exterior heat pipes, each set of heat pipes having a stack of fins affixed; interior fins to collect heat and exterior fins to disburse heat.
Abstract: The present invention has apparatus converting a Ford Mustang five-speed transmission for installation in other, substantially different, automobiles by having a clutch housing, adapted to fit the front face of the Ford Mustang case, with gearing for four forward speeds and has an externally splined output shaft extending 5 inches beyond the rear face of the case; an output shaft housing, also housing a set of fifth-speed gears, the speedometer drive gearing and a gear shift lever gate within a dimension of approximately 3½ inches, to provide an overall length of approximately 20½?, as measured from the engine mounting surface of the clutch housing to the rear face of the drive shaft connecting flange.
Abstract: A rotary jetting tool for connection to a hollow, fluid conducting workover string has a main tool body with a hollow central passageway and a rotatable jet carrier mounted on a depending central shaft. A rotor, with fluid conducting passageways is mounted on the central shaft for rotation and limited axial movement and has fluid flow reaction outlets to urge rotation and axial movement. A striking lug on the rotor cooperates with a reaction lug on the jet carrier to provide incremental rotation and a jet head, with jet orifices directed to impact mineral deposits in the well bore is connected to the jet carrier and houses the rotor, so as to receive and discharge workover string fluid flow through the jet orifices as the jet head rotates.
Abstract: A machine for bi-directional exercising of a muscle group through movement of lever arms against a selected resistance has a sub-frame mounted to a main-frame, for pivotal movement about a generally horizontal axis, and the levers connected to the sub-frame to pivot on a pair of spaced apart right and left pivot axes axially displaced to provide a moment arm about the horizontal axis. The lever arms each have a pedal, oriented to effect pivotal movement of the sub-frame about the horizontal axis, and a knee pad, oriented to effect pivotal movement of the lever arms about their respective right or left pivot axis. Linkage members connect each lever arm to the main-frame so that, as the sub-frame pivots through a given angle, the lever arms pivot through opposing angles, and a force applied to either the pedals or knee pads will move the sub-frame and lever arms through their respective angular ranges.
Abstract: A termiticide dispensing system, installed prior to pouring the slab foundation of a building, has a plurality of tubular units of minimal length, each having a single inlet and a single outlet, positioned and secured so that the inlet end will extend above the slab, in a location accessible after building completion, and the outlet end will extend through the slab to the underlying soil adjacent a water or drain line, so that a controlled quantity of termiticide may be dispensed through the slab, directly to each potential termite access point.
Abstract: Apparatus for dispensing shampoos in cooperation with a counter-top sink has a chair seat, with legs hingedly attached for movement between a first extended, seat supporting position and a second, folded position for portability; a seat back hingedly attached to the chair seat for movement between an erect position and a folded, portable position, a bowl assembly with a drain adapted for being located over the counter-top sink and at least two extensible support members attached to the bowl at the underside thereof, for movement between a first, bowl supporting position and a second, portable position.
Abstract: A composition for counteracting and controlling hair loss having a menthol solution combined with Polysorbate 80 or 60 and lupine protein, with the optional admixture of petroleum jelly as a thickening agent.
Abstract: A toilet bowl illuminating apparatus of the type wherein a seat ring is pivotally mounted to a toilet bowl by a pair of spaced apart, co-axial hinge assemblies, has a light assembly, which is activated by a switch responsive to angular orientation, affixed in a cavity at the seat ring rear edge proximate the hinge axis, where the length of the light assembly body is resiliently reduced, so as to be gripped by spring forces, with the light being held to illuminate the toilet bowl interior when the seat ring is raised and deactivated when the seat ring is lowered.
Abstract: Apparatus connected to the downhole end of a tubing string for cleaning and flushing wells has a threaded connection to the string and at least one primary jet to direct circulating gases toward the downhole end of the well, together with a plurality of secondary jets which are arranged around the exterior of the tubular member and directed upwardly at an acute angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the tubular member and skewed radially at an acute angle with respect to the surface of the tubular member the skew angle being opposed to the thread angle so as to tend to tighten the threaded connection and the upwardly directed gas volume being approximately one and one-half to four times that which is directed toward the downhole end of the well.
