Abstract: Installing of an SAE standard hydraulic clutch master cylinder, with a threaded push-rod, on an automobile firewall and operable by a pivotally mounted pedal/pedal arm assembly has a cylinder bracket with SAE standard cylinder mounting provisions and also provides a pivotal connection axis perpendicular to the cylinder axis for mounting the cylinder to a reinforcing plate which bolts to the firewall. The cylinder bracket pivots on a horizontal axis and is clamped in position with the push-rod extending to connect to the pedal so that it is aligned with the cylinder axis. The push-rod has a stop which limits fluid displacement by the master cylinder.

Abstract: Apparatus for an improved method for drilling earthen boreholes with a fluid powered rotary motor mounted on the downhole end of a non-rotating, fluid conducting drill string has a fluid powered, axially reciprocating hammer coupled to the motor by means of a rotary coupling having freedom for axial movement, so that the hammer will be rotated by the motor and the motor will be axially isolated from the reciprocating hammer as both are powered by fluid conducted from the surface through the drill string.
Abstract: An electrolytic reactor system for producing non-joule heat has a plurality of small cells arranged in an interconnected array, wherein each cell is characterized by having a relatively small cathode separated from a relatively large anode by a small gap, with the cells immersed in an electrolytic bath.

Abstract: Apparatus for cooling the barrel of a gun having a receiver configured to receive a magazine, has a housing dimensionally similar to a magazine for insertion into the receiver and contains a fan including a fan motor and shroud with an air inlet and outlet. An electric power source and circuit connector/disconnector operate the fan motor to establish an air flow path through the air inlet and outlet, with the outlet being positioned so that the air flow path passes through the gun barrel.
Abstract: An exercise device includes forced pronation or supination movement of the hands and arms in conjunction with the standard range of motion for a specified exercise. The device comprises a conventional frame and a centrally mounted seat. Pivotally attached to the frame is a sub-frame including a pair of levers that pivot in tandem about a first horizontal axis of rotation A1 and movably attached to the distal end of each lever is a double “L” shaped handle that includes a grip that pivots about a second axis of rotation A2. A2 is substantially perpendicular to A1 and the second leg of the double “L” shaped handle is movably attached with a ball and socket connection to a first end of a linkage rod. The second end of the linkage rod is movably attached with a second ball and socket connection to the frame.
Abstract: Apparatus, particularly adapted to covering and protecting the ankles of off-road bicycle riders from injury, has an ankle-length sock made of elastic knitted fabric covering each of the rider's feet and a pair of bicycling shoes having low-cut uppers. A thin guard of a hard, flexible material passing around the rider's ankle is retained at the outside of each sock, extending from the top of the sock to a line proximate the top of the shoe upper so as to protect the inside and outside of the ankle joint.
Abstract: A drilling fluid powered rotary drilling motor is mounted on the downhole end of a non-rotating fluid conducting drill string has a drill bit on its distal end and a plurality of fluid engaging, rotating elements coupled to at least one speed reducing planetary gear stage that converts the kinetic and pressure energies of the drilling fluid to mechanical power for rotating the drill bit. The drilling motor includes a lubricator, a drilling fluid filter, a pressure relief valve, a bypass valve and a check valve and is mounted with an output isolation coupling and a bearing package sized to withstand drilling load conditions.
