Abstract: A flush control system for a plumbing fixture is disclosed. The plumbing fixture includes electrical components which electrically operate a flush valve and are housed in the body of the plumbing fixture. A cover, which is normally closed, activates an electrical circuit, operably connected to a flush valve, when the cover is lifted by a user for a predetermined time. After the elapsed period of time, when the cover is lowered to its normal position, the flush valve is actuated and, for a second predetermined time, the flush valve will operate to complete its flush cycle.
Abstract: A shipping wedge is provided for protecting articles during storage or shipment. The wedge is substantially trapezoidal in configuration and includes a slot extending from the top surface towards the bottom thereof. The slot is used for positioning the wedge with respect to a brace or other planar member and serves as a stop for limiting the extent to which the wedge may be inserted into a space. The shipping wedge is particularly applicable for protecting the apron of a bathtub from damage due to compression forces to which it may be subjected. If the apron is connected to the bathtub by means of a brace, the wedge is inserted such that the slot receives the brace and eventually engages it when the wedge has been fully inserted.
Abstract: An assembly is provided for the prevention of scalding in showers and other such installations. The assembly includes a valve assembly within a mixed water supply line and a temperature sensitive element for controlling the operation of the valve assembly. The valve assembly is preferably designed to allow some leakage when in the closed position.
