Abstract: A post puller and a method of use are described herein. The method of the invention entails lowering a collar over a top end of the post. The collar is carried by a suitable frame. The frame is attached to a bucket which forms a portion of a front end loader attached to a tractor. The bucket of the front end loader is tilted to engage an upper end and a lower end of the collar with the post. The bucket is then raised to pull the post from the earth. The puller is formed from a frame and a collar. The frame has an open upper end, an open lower end, a front side, and a back side. The frame has a longitudinal axis extending from the open upper end to the open lower end. The collar is mounted inside of the frame. The collar has an open upper end positioned near the open upper end of the frame, an open lower end positioned near the open lower end of the frame, a front side positioned near the front side of the frame, and a back side positioned near the back side of the frame.

Abstract: A bioreactor system features a vessel capable of being temperature controlled comprised of two or more cylindrical chambers separated by a common porous membrane. The chambers are capable of being mounted for rotation about a common horizontal axis, essentially creating a micro gravity environment, for the purpose of creating an interface between the chambers while maintaining fluid culture medium in at least one of the chambers and enabling cells to grow in the wells or pores disposed between the chambers. The device is formed by a tubular vessel having an inner surface and an outer surface, a first open end, a second open end and a longitudinal axis.

Abstract: A mist eliminator cartridge generally comprises a roll of mesh in the form of a tube mounted to an annular flange and extending normally from a face of the flange. The face of the flange of the cartridge is positioned against an annular face positioned peripherally around the an upper gas outlet in a mist eliminator vessel. The roll of mesh extends into the vessel from the upper gas outlet. The cartridge provides a simple way to retrofit a vessel to prevent liquid carryover.

Abstract: Herein is provided a method for identifying extreme stressors which may become causative agents responsible for syndromes characterized by premature progressive cell loss or cell over growth in an individual. A sample of cells obtained from an individual is subjected to stressor in vitro to form a stressed cell sample. At least one stress criteria is measured for the stressed cell sample and the steps are repeated for a plurality of stressors. The measured stress criteria are then compared to norms derived from such measurements on cell samples obtained from third parties and a plurality of extreme stressors to which the sample of cells taken from the individual are unusually sensitive are identified. The procedure can be used to identify an effective bypass agent or needed alteration in lifestyle to prevent or delay clinical signs of disease, and/or to identify an effective bypass agent or needed alteration in lifestyle to better manage or reverse the course of the disease process.

Abstract: A liquid hydrocarbon fuel composition comprises at least one tagging agent and a mixture of hydrocarbon components having boiling points in the range of about 100 degrees F. to about 800 degrees F. The tagging agent is present at a concentration in the range of from about 0.5 ppb to about 500 ppb. The tagging agent is elutable by chromatographic analysis of the liquid hydrocarbon fuel composition apart from the hydrocarbon components of the fuel composition. The tagging agent is formed from an organic compound containing elements found at natural isotopic abundance. Preferably, two or more tagging agents are employed in the fuel so that each fuel composition can be assigned a unique tagging agent composition. Analysis techniques are also disclosed.

Abstract: A lock assembly comprising a housing, a control mechanism, one pin or two pins supported by the housing for shifting movement of the pin or of the two pins in a direction transverse to direction of movement of the control mechanism between a locked position and an unlocked position and a spring for each pin for enhancing the shifting movement of the corresponding pin toward the unlocked position and for automatically returning the corresponding pin toward the locked position upon release of the control mechanism. When the control mechanism is pushed manually, the pressure which is exerted upon pushing the control means compresses the spring around the pin or two pins which each shifts in a direction transverse to direction of movement of the control mechanism between the locked position and the unlocked position. Meanwhile, shifting of the pin or of the two pins permits the sliding of a cut-out section of the control mechanism until the pin or pins strike against the cut-out sections of the control mechanism.

Abstract: The system concept of the C3M2 System is to have the capability of providing a Process for each major processing step of automated data processing, i.e. if you have four steps then you need a minimum of four but it could be 8 or 12 or 16 processes. The four major complementary functions encompass the four major functions of data processing (Input/Output, Data Computation, Storage and User I/F). The system shall be Multi-tasking for each step. Source headers, link lists and entity or object identifiers are the methods that shall be used for identity of the different classes, types and objects for the variety of data in the system. The source and data type are contained in the source header. The class and type identity are contained in the object identifiers. The multi-tasking would be by schedule (interleaved by priority). This was selected instead of cycle sharing for improved concurrency.

If an incoming telephone number is among those authorized, the telephone call is "answered" and a telecommunication line is connected to a main computer system or facsimile machine. The defining means is positioned across the transverse groove and in a plane parallel to the longitudinal axis of the base member. A portion of the aperture defined by the aperture-defining means is positioned in alignment with the transverse groove. A pin having longitudinal axis, a preferably generally rectangular or square cross section, and a plurality of longitudinally spaced apart grooves is positioned in the groove of the base member and through a portion of the aperture to immobilize a breaker switch positioned alongside the elongated base member. Before the sales transaction can be consummated, the tattoo is scanned with a scanner. Once verified, the seller may be authorized to debit the buyer's electronic bank account in order to consummate the transaction. The seller's electronic bank account may be similarly updated.
