Patent number: 6947043Abstract: An oscilloscope that is capable of displaying simultaneously multiple waveforms representing time evolution of a signal during respective acquisition intervals acquires waveform data using a first set of acquisition parameters and generates a display based on that waveform data. If the display includes a waveform that is visually distinct from other displayed waveforms, the user selects a feature that distinguishes the visually distinct waveform from other displayed waveforms. The oscilloscope automatically derives updated acquisition parameters that discriminate between the selected feature and other features of the displayed waveforms. The oscilloscope then acquires waveform data using the updated acquisition parameters and generates a display based on that waveform data.Type: GrantFiled: March 27, 2000Date of Patent: September 20, 2005Assignee: Tektronix, Inc.Inventors: Kayla R. Klingman, Scott A. Davidson

Patent number: 6799447Abstract: A cylinder lock includes a turnable lock cylinder located inside a lock body and a set of code locking discs located inside the lock cylinder. Each locking disc has a key opening and is turnable in the lock body in a first turning direction from an initial position to an opening position by application of turning force to a counter surface bounding the key opening. The key opening of at least a first code locking disc is bounded by at least two discrete counter surfaces. A key is insertable in the lock when the locking discs are all at the initial position. The key has a set of combination surfaces corresponding respectively to the locking discs, for engaging a counter surface of each locking disc and applying turning force thereto when the key is inserted in the lock and is turned in the first turning direction, so that the locking discs are turned in the first turning direction to their respective opening positions.Type: GrantFiled: September 23, 1999Date of Patent: October 5, 2004Assignee: Abloy OyInventors: Pekka Mielonen, Seppo Kiiski

Patent number: 6762599Abstract: A semiconductor integrated circuit tester includes a housing having a tester interface area, a guide structure in the housing and defining an engagement axis that intersects the tester interface area, and a circuit board structure fitted in the guide structure in a manner allowing movement of the circuit board structure relative to the housing along the engagement axis. The circuit board structure has a tester interface that is exposed exteriorly of the housing at the tester interface area. An attachment mechanism releasably engages a test board having a test board interface and secures the test board against movement along the engagement axis in a direction away from the tester interface area. When the test board is secured to the housing by the attachment mechanism and the tester interface is not engaged with the test board interface, the circuit board structure may be urged to move along the engagement axis to force the tester interface into engagement with the test board interface.Type: GrantFiled: September 3, 2002Date of Patent: July 13, 2004Assignee: Credence Systems CorporationInventor: Wayne H. Miller

Patent number: 6755666Abstract: A guide insert is provided for engagement with an edge connector receptacle including a housing having an insertion face and defining a slot for receiving a card edge inserted into the slot along an insertion axis. The guide insert has a body portion that fits over the insertion face of the housing and is formed with first and second aligned slot-form apertures for providing access to first and second segments respectively of the slot defined by the housing. A tab projects from the body portion of the guide insert between the first and second apertures for entering the slot when the body portion engages the insertion face of the housing. The tab has two opposite faces presented towards two opposite sides respectively of the slot.Type: GrantFiled: April 16, 2003Date of Patent: June 29, 2004Assignee: Nvision, Inc.Inventors: Charles S.
