Abstract: A basket filler, blank for making same, and a method of making same include an elongated body member formed of flexible and yet resilient material, shaped and preformed so that the body member has arcuate edges along the long sides thereof, one end of the body member being provided with a plurality of spaced stepped shoulders with each stepped shoulder being provided with one or more slots, the other end of the elongated member provided with projections for engagement during assembly of them with the stepped shoulder slots, and tabs provided by slits cut into the body member from the longer arcuate edge of the body member. During the process of assembly of the basket filler blank, the desired diameter of the filler is ascertained from measurement of a basket with which the filler is to be used, and then the appropriate stepped shoulder selected for receiving the projections through the slots thereof.

Abstract: A wall mounted tube holder-dispenser having a horizontal surface to accommodate a glass and toothbrushes, and side flanges extending below the horizontal surface. A forward narrowed extension of the horizontal surface is transversely slit to provide for tube compressing, and the side flanges in this narrowed portion extend above as well as below the horizontal surface. Arcuate recesses are provided in the uppermost portion of these side flanges to snugly receive a winding reel in substantial alignment with the aforementioned transverse compressing slit but spaced above it. The winding reel has knobs at each end which extend beyond the side flanges, a threading slot coextensive with the aforementioned transverse compressing slit, and a small central viewing slot continuous with the threading slot.

Abstract: A hand file designed expressly for sharpening the cutting edge of a chisel tooth chain saw which cutting edge has substantially diagonal and horizontal beveled components. The file comprises an elongated flattened blade portion with rounded side edges, a finger hold at one end and a tang at the other, in which the filing surface area extends around both side edges of the elongated blade portion and 1/8 of an inch into the upper and lower flattened surface, and in length from the tang to the finger hold. The remainder of the flattened surface is smooth and provided with guide lines for angling the file with respect to the linear movement of the saw. The rounded edges are semi-circular and the thickness of the file is equal to the circumference of the semi-circle, and determines the fit between the depth gauge and the opposing cutting tooth on the variously sized chains, and the maneuverability into the beveled cutting edges of the saw tooth.

Abstract: A gasoline and diesel fuel additive comprising a mixture of alcohol, toluene, and hydrogen peroxide. The preferred ratio is 16/8/1 of these substances. Also for the purpose of quality control when the additive is to be used with diesel fuel, a few drops of diesel fuel and several drops of glycerin are added to the additive mixture to determine if the proper mixture and blending has been achieved. The process of making this additive includes vigorous agitation of the substances as they are blended together in the order of a predetermined amount of toluene being added to a predetermined quantity of alcohol, and then a chosen amount of hydrogen peroxide being added thereafter. Followed by the vigorous blending of these substances, and then immediate putting of the mixture into suitable containers, and tightly sealing the containers to prevent deterioration of the additive mixture.

Abstract: A basket filler for use in filling with marine life a basket having handles extending outwardly therefrom comprising a body which is frusto-conical in shape having open ends, one of which is larger than the other, the larger end having an outwardly extending flange portion transverse to the central axis of the filler with a circumferential skirt extending axially from the outer circumference of the flange portion, and the extending flange portion including at least one pair of diametrically opposed slots provided therein for reception of the pair of basket handles therethrough when the filler is mounted upon the basket, and at least one of the slots being open through the outwardly extending flange portion and the axial skirt to the outside.

Abstract: A radial engine having an engine casing supporting for rotation therein a central drive shaft and having mounted thereupon a rotator drivingly afixed to said shaft, at least two combustion apertures provided along the circumferential edge of the rotator and in alignment with complimentary apertures provided within the engine block for mating with said rotor apertures. At least two axially reciprocal pistons for compressing the fuel within said engine combustion chambers, at least one intake valve with each combustion chamber, and a slotted piston cam drivingly engaged on said central shaft and associated by cam follower mechanism with said reciprocal pistons. Appropriate exhaust ports are provided within the engine block and spaced at least a rotor combustion chamber width away from the combustion chambers and in alignment with the combustion chambers in said rotator. Intake valve cam structure also appropriately arranged for drive from the central shaft.
