Abstract: A system and method for the simulation and modeling of biopharmaceutical batch process manufacturing facilities using process time lines is described herein. The system employs an eleven-field delimited string code which specifies the unit identifier code and the iteration value for each of the ten levels of nested scheduling cycles of the biopharmaceutical drug production process being modeled. The method includes generating a process time line using operational parameters, a block flow diagram, and a set of scheduling cycles for each of a sequence of unit operations. The process time line is used as a tool for batch processing and facility design.
Abstract: Method for fabricating printed circuit board employing optical engraving and metallization techniques to form a pre-designated circuit pattern on a transfer plate, wherein the pattern is transferred and inlaid to a dielectric material by lamination, a printed circuit is emerged after removal of said transfer plate and surface copper deposit is etched off. PCB produced by the present invention and characterized by its outer layer circuitry is inlaid into the dielectric material, thus having 3-sided adhesion between the circuitry and the dielectric material.
Abstract: A method and apparatus is used to provide DC stabilization and noise reduction in a multistage power amplifier. The invention uses various feedback techniques to stabilize DC levels, which helps to reduce noise. The invention also uses other techniques to reduce noise, and to reduce the noise transfer function in a power amplifier.
Abstract: The present invention provides a high definition multimedia interface (HDMI) connector, comprising an insulating housing, a terminal line separator, a metallic shell, a plurality of puncture terminals, a plastic outer shell and a front cover, wherein said terminal line separator consists of the terminal fixing plate and line binder, said puncture terminal is inserted in the insulated housing, the conduction lines are lined up on the line binder and punctured contact with the puncture terminals, followed by placing in the terminal fixing plate to secure the spacing among the puncture terminals, said metallic shell is consisted of the front and rear shell, wherein the insertion portion and the front metallic shell are further interlocked by use of the latch slot at the rear end of the metallic front shell and the latch lug on the insertion portion of the insulated housing, followed by incorporating the metallic rear shell to form a compact metallic unit, said metallic unit is then placed into the plastic outer
Abstract: A method and apparatus provides techniques for electrically isolating switching devices in a stacked RF power amplifier, which prevents the switching devices from being subjected to high breakdown voltages. The isolation provided allows the power amplifier to be implemented on an integrated circuit.
Abstract: A casing surrounds a horizontal axis to define a cavity. The cavity has a top, a bottom, and axially front and rear ends. The casing is configured to conduct a mixture of a liquid and debris through the cavity from the front end to the rear end. Front and rear walls cap the casing at the front and rear ends. A horizontal outlet tube extends through the rear wall and defines a horizontal outlet channel with a bottom. A transversely-extending weir extends upward from the bottom of the cavity. The weir has a horizontal top edge located above the channel bottom and spaced below the top of the cavity, and further has fluid flow apertures below the channel bottom.

Abstract: A method and apparatus if provided for shielding a capacitor structure formed in a semiconductor device. In a capacitor formed in an integrated circuit, one or more shields are disposed around layers of conductive strips to shield the capacitor. The shields confine the electric fields between the limits of the shields.

Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for detecting the output power of an RF power amplifier for purposes of controlling the output power. A circuit for generating an output power control signal includes a power detector to detect the output power of an RF power amplifier. A variable gain amplifier is coupled to the power detector for amplifying the output of the power detector. The value of the generated control signal is a function of the gain of the variable gain amplifier.

Abstract: An Infant Nurturing Device for performing parent-infant attachment comprising a pouch area (25), a proportional external pouch covering (21), means for producing simulated parental body temperature (770), means for producing simulated parental heartbeat (750), means for producing simulated parental voice (780), means for producing simulated parental breathing (760) and a controller (740). The Infant Nurturing Device of the present invention is capable of performing adequate “Kangaroo Care” parent-infant attachment in the absence of biological parents.
Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for detecting the output power of a power amplifier. The output power is detected by detecting the absolute values of the voltage and current at the output of the amplifier and mixing the detected voltage and current to generate a signal related to the output power.
