Abstract: A computerized training system and methods are provided for training an individual in self-evaluation and to interact with a partner. The training system and methods comprise an intelligence assessor to identify an intelligence makeup of the individual by scoring a completed intelligence questionnaire. Intelligences include Logic, Emotion and Intuition. An asset assessor assesses the strength of Three Assets of the individual by scoring a completed asset questionnaire. Assets include a Technical, a Psychological, and a Relational asset. A perception assayer identifies a dominant Perceptual Orientation of the individual by cross referencing the intelligence makeup with the viewpoint of the individual. An aggregator collects the profile information of the individual to generate an innate profile report and a self-insight report of the individual. A facilitator aids in exploring the insight report.

Abstract: Systems and methods for using a cartridge case as a tool to install or remove firearm barrel attachments. The barrel attachment includes a channel for engaging a cartridge case rim. This rim channel provides mechanical leverage for rotating the barrel attachment around a bore axis of the firearm barrel. The rim channel may include a curved portion to increase the load-bearing contact area. The contact area between the rim of the cartridge case and the barrel attachment can be further increased by a half-moon insert.

Abstract: A power and risk score calibrator is provided, which receives quantitative power and risk scores for each quantitative segment, and receives qualitative power and risk scores for each qualitative segment. The qualitative segment and the qualitative power and risk scores are defined by a user. The system generates consolidated segments. Then consolidated power and risk scores for each of the consolidated segments are generated, respectively. The gaps between the qualitative power and risk scores and the consolidated power and risk scores are reconciled. From these reconciliations, adjustment factors are generated, which are applied by pricing power and risk value calibrators. The system may also perform a drill down to explain the gap between the qualitative scores and the consolidated scores.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a therapeutic cranial wrap for use with a thermal contrast therapy systems and methods for providing a temperature regulated fluid. The cranial wrap includes an active thermal exchange bladder and an active compression bladder, adapted to fit the cranial therapy site. The thermal exchange bladder may be coupled to the thermal contrast therapy system. The compression bladder may compress the therapy site. In some embodiments, the compressive bladder may be integrated into the thermal exchange bladder, or may be omitted. The cranial wrap also includes a contoured shell, known as a hood shaped therapy pad, which is adapted to snugly fit the cranial therapy site and provide neck support. Adjustable straps, including at least one strap that circumvents the cranium, secure the cranial wrap in a fitted position adjacent the therapy site. The cranial wrap couples to the thermal contrast therapy system which includes a hot and cold fluid reservoir, a mixing valve, and a fluid pump.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a spinal column brace system which includes a rigid support, an interchangeable therapy pad, and a front panel. The rigid support includes patches of hook material and also has straps connected to it. These straps are at least partially elastic and also include hook material pads on their ends. The interchangeable therapy pad, on the other hand, has one side covered in loop material, thereby allowing the therapy pad to be attached to the patches on the rigid support. The front panel is also covered in loop material, which may be used to couple to the hook material found on the straps. The therapy pad includes a thermal exchange bladder and a cushion layer. The thermal exchange bladder may be coupled to a contrast therapy system via an umbilical and fluid coupler. The contrast therapy system includes a hot and cold reservoir. A mixing valve may mix a selected ratio of the hot and cold fluids from the hot and cold reservoirs to make therapy fluid of a particular temperature.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a replaceable module for use with a thermal contrast therapy systems. The replaceable module may be an automated thermal contrast therapy module which includes a casing, a manual mixing valve, an automated mixing valve, an automated mixing valve actuator, a temperature sensor, and an interface. A cold and a hot fluid are mixed to generate a therapy fluid. The therapy fluid may be output to a therapy bladder. The second replaceable module is a compression therapy module which includes a casing, an air pump, a pneumatic solenoid, and a pressure monitor. The casing may include a pressurized air pathway including an air outlet. The pump may pressurize the air within the pathway, and the solenoid may regulate the air pressure using feedback from the pressure sensor. Additionally, a pressure relief valve may release pressure if it gets above a safety threshold. The compression therapy module may also include a fluid pathway.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a therapeutic spinal column brace system, comprising an active thermal exchange layer for providing thermal contrast therapy to a therapy site, an active compression bladder for providing compression to the therapy site, at least one cushion layer for comfort, a rigid shell including at least one rigid support brace, and an adjustable strapping system to secure the therapeutic spinal column brace system to the spinal column therapy site. In some embodiment an active amalgamated bladder or a thermal exchange and compression bladder may be used in lieu of the thermal exchange bladder and the compression bladder. By regulating the pressure within the bladders the compression may be steady or pulsating to achieve a therapeutic effect. A contrast therapy system comprising a hot reservoir, a cold reservoir, a mixing valve, and a fluid pump for delivering the therapy fluid to the therapeutic spinal column brace system may be utilized.

Abstract: An improved stringed musical instrument includes a unitary shell having a head, a neck and a body. The unitary shell has an asymmetrical waist having a substantially flat side and a substantially concave side. The instrument also includes a soundboard configured to be attached to the unitary shell. The soundboard includes a body portion having a sound hole located substantially adjacent the substantially flat side of the waist of the unitary shell. The union of the unitary shell and the soundboard results in the formation of a substantially hollow cavity in the unitary shell, with the hollow cavity acoustically coupled to the sound hole. In some embodiments, the hollow cavity extends through the head, the neck and the body, with an optional supplemental sound hole positioned at the head. Abstract: The present invention is a method and system for managing a secure local area network wherein the local area network includes a plurality of private networks logically linked to a wireless network having a plurality of wireless access points for isolating data traffic. The system provides authentication of the user devices, segregation of the user device into logical wireless virtual local area networks (WVLANs), and places the private networks into virtual local area networks (VLANs). By linking WVLANs with the appropriate VLANs, the management system provides segregation of user device traffic, as well as private network traffic, despite a shared physical network. By consolidating wireless networks in a multi-tenant environment, the work area of each individual tenant is expanded to a building wide roaming area, and radio frequency interference is reduced. In addition, by coupling together numerous wireless networks a greater roaming capability is created across all managed wireless networks.

Such illuminated panels include at least one row of point light sources located substantially within the at least one illuminated frame member, a diffusion layer have a diffusion edge facing the at least one row of point light sources, a backscattering layer coupled to a back surface of the diffusion layer, and a dispersion layer coupled to a front surface of the diffusion layer. The diffusion layer has an edge with a surface roughness configured to diffuse light emitted by the at least one row of point light sources. In some embodiments, the light sources are dimmable Luxeon LEDs and can be activated by an infrared sensor. It is also possible to use ultraviolet to blue light sources for the panel and to include a phosphor in the dispersion layer of the panel for converting the ultraviolet to blue light into visible light.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for determining the trust worthiness of executable packets, e.g., internet applets, being transmitted within a computer network. The computer network includes both secured computers and unsecured computers, which are associated with secured nodes and unsecured nodes, respectively. Each executable packet has a source address and a destination address. In one embodiment, an intelligent firewall determines within a first degree of certainty whether the source address of an executable packet arriving at one of the secured computers is associated with anyone of the secured nodes, and also determines within a second degree of certainty whether the destination address of the executable packet is associated with anyone of the secured nodes.

Abstract: A random number generator, useful in association with a computer system of a computer network, generates a randomly distributed back-off time interval between a collision and the retransmission of the packet, e.g. for Ethernet's collision sense multiple access/collision detect (CSMA/CD) protocol. The random number generator includes a data-based number generator, a timer-based number generator and a number combiner. The combiner is provided the output numbers from data-based and timer-based number generators, and in turn generates a random number. A user selectable initialization number is provided as a seed number for the data-based number generator. Subsequently, a cyclic redundency check (CRC) generator provides numbers for data-based number generator. A free-running timer provides numbers for the timer-based number generator. The user selectable initialization number is also provided as a seed number for the data-based and timer-base generators.
