Abstract: A method and apparatus for locating a catheter adjacent to a pacemaker node of the heart. The placement of a catheter tip just before SA heart pacemaker node is a common and desired procedure in medicine, with the most serious complication being its accidental advancement of the beyond this point placing its tip into the heart, with often fatal complications. The catheter tip location just before SA heart pacemaker node is desired because is most often the safest and optimal location. The catheter described in the present invention is placed by a physician within a patient's body circulatory vessel and advanced towards the heart SA pacemaker node, using traditional medical procedures. From the distal tip of the catheter the endogenous electrical activity from the SA pacemaker node of the heart is monitored and transmitted via at least one insulated transmission line located within the catheter to an electronic catheter monitoring system located outside the body.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for guiding a physician in the placement of a probe in the body. The method of placement of a catheter or probe in the body through a multi-directional walled path departing from a straight line involving inserting an insulated catheter or probe with a distal uninsulated tip which is electronically connected in a circuit to an electronic catheter guidance system apparatus located outside the patients body which has a power source and a calibrated monitor. The catheter is advanced by a physician into an initial opening in said multi-directional path in a patient's body moving the tip of said catheter or probe forward along said path until the calibrated monitor displays that an obstruction has been met indicating a change in path direction.

Abstract: The present disclosure is related to an improved electrically-operated gear rotor pump mainly adapted for automobile fuel injection system; a dc motor in driving connection with the pump is housed together with the pump in a unitary housing. The driving shaft of the dc motor is in coupling engagement with the gear rotor pump by means of a floating coupling device having H-shaped longitudinal cross section. The terminal end of the dc motor shaft is defined in a rectangular form so that it can be properly fitted in the correspondingly shaped groove at one end of the coupling device. The other end of the coupling device is provided with a pair of symmetric semi-circular arms which are in registry with the identically shaped grooves axially extended through the wall of the inner rotor of the gear rotor pump with a fixed shaft, which is secured to the inlet end portion of the pump by interference fit with the inner rotor rotatably mounted thereon, located therebetween.

Abstract: The present disclosure is concerned with a photo frame with a hidden light illumination loop made of light transmitting material, a DC or AC-operated light source can provide necessary light delivered by the light illumination loop all around the frame and cast on the photo located within the frame. The light source is preferably made of LED bulb components. The frame includes a front cover having a central opening for the exposition of a located photograph, an intermediate light illumination loop and a supporting frame. The illumination loop is removably engaged with the supporting frame with the front cover attached to the flanges of the supporting frame and the illumination loop hidden behind the front cover without being noticed. The photo frame can be designed to have various shapes as desired.

By way of the rotation of the polishing plate along with the main shaft, an air pressure differential is produced in the machine so as to permit the sucked debris produced in the grinding process to be moved continuously out of the grinding surface through the debris-intaking roller by centrifugal force via an outlet port. Abstract: A lockable steering structure suitable for the front wheels of a baby cart for children including a grooved block slideable upon T shaped rails attached to both a support frame and a wheel mount so that in a locked position the block engages both rails, so locking the wheel mount to the support frame, and in an unlocked position the block engages only one rail. The block is secured in the unlocked position by a stud which is snap engageable with a recess on the block.
Abstract: An imitation medal including a pair of plastic casing parts arranged together to give an appearance of a unitary medal having a pair of spaced apart outer faces which can be decorated or inscribed. An internal cavity is defined between the casing parts, and a weighted member is located within the cavity. The weighted member gives the medal an appreciable weight.
