Abstract: A mobile communication system includes a plurality of radio base stations forming respective radio zones and a mobile station selecting a wait zone and a base station to which a request for a message channel is to be issued. Each of the plurality of radio base stations is assigned an order of priority. Information relating to the order of priority is used by the mobile station to select a wait zone and a base station to which a request for a message channel is to be issued.
Abstract: A network system comprises a first communication device and a second communication device. When device failure caused in the first communication device, the first communication device generates the device failure information and transmits the device failure information to the second communication device. The second communication device receives the device failure information, and memorizes the device failure information, and makes a display unit display the device failure information.
Abstract: Refrigerants containing R-22 are replaced with new blends by using R-125, or R-125 with R-124, or R-218, or R-218 with R-124, in place of R-22. No hardware or oil composition changes are required to maintain temperatures, pressures and capacity substantially unchanged in a refrigeration system.

Abstract: A method of transferring data from a source device to a destination device via a source-control device connected to the source device and a destination-control device connected to the destination device includes the steps of transmitting a data-transfer-request signal from the source device to the source-control device, transmitting a data-transfer-acknowledge signal from the source-control device to the source device in response to the data-transfer-request signal, and transmitting a data-transfer-request signal from the source-control device to the destination-control device concurrently with the transmission of the data-transfer-acknowledge signal.
Abstract: A method of delivering data from a transmission station to receiver stations via satellite communication links includes the steps of delivering delivery data from the transmission station to the receiver stations via the satellite communication links, checking if the delivery data is successfully received at each of the receiver stations, sending results of the check from the receiver stations to the transmission station, generating control data from the results of the check at the transmission station, the control data indicating which receiver station failed to receive the delivery data and which receiver station succeeded in receiving the delivery data, sending the control data from the transmission station to the receiver stations, and transferring the delivery data in response to the control data from a first one of the receiver stations having succeeded in receiving the delivery data to a second one of the receiver stations having failed to receive the delivery data.
Abstract: A portable cooking system comprising: leg units each having a pair of leg posts, first and second reinforcement mechanisms that connects the leg units to stand as well as to be folded together, a first cloth material over the first reinforcement mechanism, a second cloth material over the second reinforcement mechanist; a removable back cloth material between the leg posts on one side of the leg units, side tables rotatably installed to the opposite sides of the combined leg units, a removable lantern stand, and a removable wire net and top board, wherein the leg units, first and second reinforcement mechanisms, and cloth materials can form a bench, and wherein with the back cloth material removed, the leg units, reinforcement mechanisms, cloth materials, side tables, the lantern stand, and wire net and/or top board can form a kitchen.
Abstract: An electronic device having a circuit board, a shielding plate disposed thereon and a three-terminal regulator is provided with a heat sink positioned on the outer side of the circuit board and connected to the three-terminal regulator. The heat of three-terminal regulator is radiated from the heat sink, thus making it possible to prevent heating of the shielding plate. In this way, electronic device elements that do not stand up very well to heat, such as an optical pickup unit, can be placed directly on shielding plate, so that the heat of three-terminal regulator is efficiently dissipated and the size of the electronic devices may be reduced.
Abstract: A tactual computer monitor includes rows and columns of rectangular cells. Each cell includes four rows and two columns of movable pins which are felt and read by a blind person. The pins are driven by electromechanical impact drivers and are held in position by resilient elastomeric cords. The impact drivers are carried on a bi-directional printhead which travels beneath the movable pins. An erasing mechanism is provided to positively drive the pins downwardly to erase the characters produced by the printhead.
