  • Patent number: 8315033
Abstract: In a capacitor body, a single second capacitor unit is interposed between two first capacitor units. The width direction dimension of each of extended portions of first and second internal electrodes included in the first capacitor unit is larger than the width direction dimension of each of extended portions of third and fourth internal electrodes included in the second capacitor unit. The area of each of the respective portions of a first opposed portion of the first internal electrode and a second opposed portion of the second internal electrode, the respective portions being opposed to each other, is smaller than the area of each of respective portions of opposed portions of the third and fourth internal electrodes, the respective portions being opposed to each other. Thus, a multilayer capacitor has a characteristic that is a combination of a low-ESL characteristic of the first capacitor unit and a high-ESR characteristic of the second capacitor.

  • Patent number: 8316134
Abstract: Communication is established between communication terminals arranged in different LANS while realizing dynamic response to reduction in server load, movement of communication terminal, and the like. A relay server is arranged in a LAN and can communicate with an SIP server arranged in a WAN. For instance, a first relay server exchanges account information of the communication terminals in the respective LAN with a second relay server. If exchanged account information is changed in one relay server, the account information after the change is notified to the other relay server. One relay server determines the other relay server based on the exchanged account information and relays communication data between the communication terminals through the other relay server.

  • Patent number: 8314528
Abstract: An armature includes an insulator component with a wiring member arranged in a wiring fixing groove positioned outside of an outer wall portion of the insulator component. When a lead wire is wound around the insulator component, a winding start portion and a winding end portion of the lead wire are arranged to intersect with each other in a radial direction to define an intersection portion. The winding start portion is pressed by the winding end portion toward the outer wall portion. A lead wire escape portion spaced from a radially outer end portion of a coil is defined in the outer wall portion. This contributes to preventing the outer wall portion from being deformed by being pressed by the lead wire at the intersection portion, thereby preventing difficulty in arranging the wiring member on the insulator component.

  • Patent number: 8312713
Abstract: An internal combustion engine includes a structure that increases the velocity of exhaust gas. The internal combustion engine includes a branch section arranged to branch a shock wave propagating at a higher velocity than exhaust gas and to guide the branched shock wave, and a reflecting section provided in the branch section. The reflecting section is arranged to reflect and return the shock wave back to an exhaust path and cause the shock wave to collide against the exhaust gas, thereby increasing the pressure of the exhaust gas. In accompaniment with the exhaust gas passing a divergent section of a convergent-divergent nozzle, a new shock wave propagating in a downstream direction in the exhaust path is generated, and the temperature and pressure of the exhaust gas are decreased.
