Abstract: A caller information providing system and caller information transmitting method in a mobile radio communication network is disclosed. When a call comes in, the present invention provides a user at the terminating mobile station a picture information of a caller or caller information including a picture information, audio information, and/or character information of the caller.

Abstract: A movement structure for a drawer of a refrigerator is provided that allows a storage box to be automatically withdrawn from or inserted into a main body of the refrigerator. The structure may include a rolling mechanism that rolls along a guide mechanism coupled to the storage box to facilitate and guide the movement of the storage box and maintain alignment relative to the main body of the refrigerator. A drive motor may provide a rotational force to the rolling mechanism to automate the movement of the storage box.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a switched reluctance motor and a connection method for a sensor shutter thereof. The switched reluctance motor in accordance with the present invention includes a stator; a rotor rotating with respect to the stator centering around a rotational shaft; and a sensor shutter having a sensing part through which a light can be passed and connected to an end portion of the rotational shaft, and a stopping ring is connected to the end portion of the rotational shaft so as to prevent the sensor shutter from being separated. Accordingly, the sensor shutter can be quickly and easily connected and the length of the rotational shaft can be decreased.
Abstract: An apparatus for attaching substrates includes an upper chamber for holding an upper substrate and a lower chamber for holding a lower substrate which is to be attached to the upper substrate. The lower chamber is moved up and down so as to come together with the upper chamber to form a sealed attaching space. A substrate receiving part is fixed to a frame of the apparatus so that it does not move as the lower chamber is raised and lowered. The substrate receiving part alternatively projects from the lower chamber is the lower chamber is moved down, or is recessed into the top of the lower chamber when the lower chamber is lifted up.
Abstract: A plasma display device is provided. The plasma display device includes a plasma display panel (PDP) and an external light shield sheet which absorbs external light incident upon the PDP. The external light shield sheet includes a base unit and a plurality of pattern units which are formed in the base unit. Each of the pattern units contains 2-10 weight % of light absorption particles having a size of 1 ?m or less. Since the external light shield sheet which can absorb and shield as much external light as possible is disposed at the front of the PDP, the plasma display device can effectively realize black images and improve bright room contrast.

Abstract: A motion vector searching system and method estimates a motion vector during image compression by acquiring a present image frame and at least one previous image frame, generating low-resolution images of the present and previous frames in multiple stages, determining areas in one of the stages in which pixel searches are to be performed, locating at least two areas which overlap, and then merging the overlapping areas if a merge condition is satisfied. The search areas are determined by identifying candidate points in the low-resolution image which have low pixel absolute difference values, and the merge condition may correspond to a certain minimum distance between centers of the overlapping areas. A motion vector estimator is used to perform additional searching in the merged and non-merged areas to generate a motion vector associated with the present and previous image frames.
Abstract: A block for building a toy is provided. The block includes a body, a case provided in the body, a holder with a sliding-prevention part, provided movably and rotatably within the case, and a magnet with south and north pole faces, installed in the holder. The blocks, each with this construction, can connect to each other to build a toy, without sliding off relative to each other.
Abstract: A portable device including an external-light-shielding sheet is provided. The portable device includes a display panel; and an external-light-shielding sheet arranged on the display panel, wherein the external-light-shielding sheet includes a base portion and a plurality of wedge shaped portions arranged on the base portion to absorb external light. Therefore, it is possible to absorb and block as much external light as possible. In addition, it is possible to improve bright-room contrast by effectively realizing a black image on a display panel.
Abstract: A vacuum cleaner includes a dust collector that compresses dust stored inside a dust container to minimize the volume of the dust. The dust collector would include one or more pressing plates that are used to compress the dust stored in dust collector. Various methods are used to control movements of the movable pressing plates to facilitate the compression operations. Also, various methods are used to determine when the dust collector is full and needs to be emptied.
