  • Patent number: 7572378
Abstract: A process for irrigation involves monitoring reclaimed water, and treating it when necessary. The reclaimed water is tested with monitors to obtain results for water quality characteristics, including: pH; residual chlorine; and, sodium. These results are inputted to a computerized data handling system for data collection, storage and analysis for comparison to predetermined acceptable ranges for water quality characteristic, and to show any deviation from said acceptable ranges. Either alarms are set off or treatment occurs or both, when deviations are observed. Treatment includes a dechlorination system to correct active chlorine, and, optionally, an oxidation system. There is also a reverse osmosis step for reduction of salts, such as sodium. Other monitors may include one or more of hardness; turbidity; alkalinity; conductivity and nitrates.

  • Patent number: 7137318
Abstract: A ratchet-based, torque-enhanced fastener tool for tightening and loosening nuts, bolts, lug nuts and other fasteners includes a main housing and a handle attached to the main housing. A trigger is movably connected so that it can be moved in a reciprocal manner. A drive mechanism in the main housing is connected to the handle such that reciprocal movement of the handle moves the drive mechanism. A ratchet gear is functionally connected to the drive mechanism so as to rotate when the drive mechanism is moved. A drive gear is connected to the ratchet gear so as to rotate when the ratchet gear is so rotated. A socket wrench driver is connected to the drive gear so as to rotate simultaneously with the drive gear. By this arrangement, a user may attach a nut socket to the socket wrench driver, hold the handle and squeeze and release the trigger repeatedly to rotate the nut socket to drive a nut or other fastener.

  • Patent number: 7109884
Abstract: The system includes a stop sign device, a wave signal transmitter, a signal receiver and a warning signal. The wave signal transmitter is located at the stop sign device, that is it is near it, or is attached to it. The transmitter projects a wave signal outwardly in a direction from the front of the stop sign device, that is toward oncoming traffic that is expected to comply with the stop sign device. The wave signal of the transmitter has a predetermined frequency and transmission strength, and may be radio or IR or other wave signal. The signal receiver is adapted to receive a wave signal of the same frequency of said wave signal of the transmitter, so that when it is near the transmitter, it will receive that signal.
