Abstract: A system and method for representing call content in a searchable database includes transcribing call content to text. The call content is projected to vector space, by creating a vector by indexing the call based on the content and determining a similarity of the call to an atomic-class dictionary. The call is classified in a relational database in accordance with the vector.

Abstract: A system and method for projecting reliability to manage system functions includes an activity module which determines activity in the system. A reliability module interacts with the activity module to determine a reliability measurement for the module in real-time based upon the activity and measured operational quantities of the system. A management module manages actions of the system based upon the reliability measurement input from the reliability module. This may be to provide corrective action, to reallocate resources, increase reliability of the module, etc.

Abstract: A system and method of employing patterning process statistics to evaluate layouts for intersect area analysis includes applying Optical Proximity Correction (OPC) to the layout, simulating images formed by the mask and applying patterning process variation distributions to influence and determine corrective actions taken to improve and optimize the rules for compliance by the layout. The process variation distributions are mapped to an intersect area distribution by creating a histogram based upon a plurality of processes for an intersect area. The intersect area is analyzed using the histogram to provide ground rule waivers and optimization.

Abstract: A power system for an electric vehicle, the power system comprising at least one power generating device selected from a group consisting of a solar panel, a wind turbine capable of producing electrical power, an auxiliary generator driven by an internal combustion engine, and a generator for producing electrical power mechanically connected to, and driven by the rotational force of an axle of a vehicle. The power system being further comprised of a charging device, a battery control device, at least one battery, a motor control device, an electric drive motor electrically connected to the motor control device, and a driver interface connected to the motor control device. The electric drive motor may be used to generate power through regenerative braking. The wind turbine may be raised outside the body of a vehicle while the vehicle is not in motion. The solar panel may be disposed outside the vehicle while remaining electrically connected to the charging device.
Abstract: A method of differential unitary space-time modulation is provided by encoding messages to transmit through multiple transmitting antenna into multiple trellis code in a communication system wherein the signals are transmitted between multiple transmitting antennas and at least one receive antenna. The performance provided is superior to that of the modulation of the prior art.

Abstract: A system and method for controlling power and performance in a microprocessor system includes a monitoring and control system integrated into a microprocessor system. The monitoring and control system includes a hierarchical architecture having a plurality of layers. Each layer in the hierarchical architecture is responsive to commands from a higher level, and the commands provide instructions on operations and power distribution, such that the higher levels provide modes of operation and budgets to lower levels and the lower levels provide feedback to the higher levels to control and manage power usage in the microprocessor system both globally and locally.

Abstract: A system comprising a tram-rail assembly attachable to a downwardly facing surface (e.g., the underside of a cabinet), a movable carriage assembly, locked into, and suspended on the tram-rails, and a clamshell-configured, pull-down easel attached to the underside of the carriage assembly. The system allows the user to mount, move, remove, and store articles such that the articles are inconspicuous or essentially hidden from view under a downwardly-facing surface, and such that pull-down access to said articles can be gained easily by a user and can be adjusted for height, tilt and depth relative to the user and laterally along the entire, continuous facing edge of a downwardly-facing surface and whereby said access orientation adjustments and said manipulations can be executed easily.
Abstract: There is provided a wireless system for a video game console having at least one of an Infrared (IR) receiver and a Radio Frequency (RF) receiver, and further having at least two operation modes including (i) a first game mode capable of playing video games and (ii) a second entertainment mode capable of playing DVD videos. The wireless system includes a dedicated DVD remote control transmitter and a wireless game controller. The dedicated DVD remote control transmitter has DVD player function control buttons and is incapable of controlling all of the game functions of the video game console. The dedicated remote control transmitter wirelessly transmits DVD player control commands to at least one of the IR receiver and the RF receiver for controlling the DVD player functions of the video game console when in the second entertainment mode.
Abstract: A system and method for maintaining consistency in a system where multiple copies of an object may exist is provided for maintaining consistent copies. Consistency is maintained using a plurality of consistency policies in which at least one consistency policy results in different performance than a second consistency policy. A consistency policy is selected from the plurality consistency policies for each object to improve system performance.

Abstract: A venting system that is incorporated into the roof and/or wall allows the same to provide continuous air flow to ventilate the roofs and walls and prevent condensation build up and ultimate water damage to the structure. The venting system is adapted to allow air flow around air flow obstacles contained within the walls or roofs, such as, for example roof joists, and/or floor and ceiling supports in walls. The venting system can provide air flow around in wall obstacles by channeling in air from the outside or carrying air around the obstacle from within the wall or roof itself. The channeled venting system can be incorporated into the roof and/or wall sheathing and thereby is not prone to blockage by improper or amateur insulation installations.
Abstract: A system and method for providing a consistent view of data stored therein, which can change dynamically in an uncoordinated way, includes a client program and a snapshot server program. The snapshot server program permits one or more client programs to request snapshots of data from the snapshot server program such that the data included in or referenced by a snapshot originates from one or more host server programs and the data is accessible to the snapshot server program, but is managed independently of the snapshot server program.

Abstract: A weather-resistant electrical connector having an environmental seal and including a locking assembly made from a high impact strength thermoplastic. A method is disclosed for overmolding the connectors in one step. A locking yoke latches the connectors together. Locking tabs secure the connectors to mounting plates. The locking tabs have steps to retain the connectors upon compression of a seal. An insulated mounting post supports the contact and is of sufficient length to seal and contain any arcs from live connections.
