  • Patent number: 5886639
Abstract: A memory storage device housing including a memory storage mounting kit with a memory storage device cooler. The housing also has a memory storage device bay. The mounting kit includes a pair of rails, a frame which interconnects the rails and a fan mounted on the frame. The rails mount a memory storage device such as a hard disk drive within the bay. The fan attaches to the frame and draws air through the bay to cool the memory storage device.

  • Patent number: 5869976
Abstract: The apparatus of the present invention includes a frame for attaching the clamp of a hand test socket to a workpress assembly of a high-speed IC handler. The frame attaches to a workpress assembly. Utilizing the clamp of a test socket recycles frequently unused test socket parts and eliminates the need for custom fabricated workpress assembly components. The method for adapting the hand test socket for use on the workpress assembly includes the steps: providing a test socket having a base and a top cover, the top cover including a clamp; removing the top cover and the clamp; configuring the clamp for use in a workpress assembly; and attaching the clamp to the workpress assembly.

  • Patent number: 5769731
Abstract: A golf course distance marker suited for anchoring in grassy turf includes a cap, an integral hole stop shoulder, a circumferential blade depending from the outside periphery of the shoulder, and a central anchor stem. Distance data is indicated preferably on one or more, removable, colored coded tabs or colored strips sandwiched between the marker cap and a transparent, removable tabs which snap into and anchor within a pair of slots through the top surface of the cap. The circumferential blade extends downward around the periphery of the marker, so that rotation of the marker rotates the blade to cut into the grassy turf at the location being marked. The anchor stem extends coaxially downward below the circumferential blade to insure axial rotation of the marker as the blade cuts into the turf.

  • Patent number: 5673029
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an apparatus for cooling a memory storage device such as a hard disk drive. The apparatus includes a removable bezel and a bezel fan. The bezel mounts on a memory storage device housing having a memory storage device bay. The bezel covers the bay and cools the memory storage device. A memory storage device mounting kit having a frame can incorporate a bezel and a fan in a variation of this invention. The frame mounts a memory storage device within a memory storage device housing. The bezel attaches with the frame. The fan attaches with the bezel to direct air across a memory storage device and cool the memory storage device.

  • Patent number: 5518418
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a SCSI ID connector assembly 20 connectable with a carrier (24) which supports memory storage devices having ID ports. The SCSI ID connector assembly (20) has various connectors including a first terminal (50), a feed-through connector (52) and a second terminal (54). The feed-through connector (52) is compatible with one type of ID port and the second terminal (54) is compatible with another type of ID port. The first terminal (50) is divided into a ground plug (186) and a separate active plug (188). The active plug (188)is selectively rotatable about its axis to reverse bit sequences. Accordingly, the SCSI ID connector assembly is compatible with a variety of ID port types.
