  • Patent number: 8047031
Abstract: An electronic lock includes a rotatable core movable within an outer body. The rotatable core includes a piezo-electric actuator configured to move a tumbler blocking member into or out of interfering engagement with one or more tumblers. Tamper circuitry coupled with the piezo-electric actuator is configured to resist an externally induced acceleration of the electronic lock by shunting electrical power produced by an externally induced motion of the piezo-electric actuator back to the piezo-electric actuator.

  • Patent number: 8044699
Abstract: A level-shift circuit translates a control signal to a level-shifted output. The level-shift circuit includes a pulse generator circuit for providing Set and Reset pulses based on the control signal and a level-shift circuit for translating the Set and Reset pulses to level-shifted Set and Reset pulses. First and second differential detectors are connected to monitor the level-shifted Set and Reset pulses to provide detection of communicated Set and Reset pulses despite the presence of transients in the level-shift circuit. A gate drive circuit employs the Set and Reset pulses communicated by the differential detectors to generate a gate drive signal.

  • Patent number: 8040218
Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer-readable media are provided for acquisition of a lockbox position. For example, in one embodiment a method is provided which receives positional data for a lockbox. After receiving the lockbox, when the lockbox is associated with one listing, the method determines proximity of the positional data to that one listing. If however, there is more than one listing within a predetermined distance of the positional data, the method compares the positional data with each listing in the plurality of listings. Thereafter, the method transmits a query, which includes at least, a result of the comparison. Embodiments of the invention also include other methods, computer-readable media, apparatuses, and systems that contain features similar to the features in the above described method.

  • Patent number: 8037306
Abstract: A method for realizing network access authentication, wherein a network access authentication device pre-storing a system integrity value of a device waiting to access and a correspondence between each device waiting to access and its system integrity value. When the device waiting to access needs to access the network, it acquires its current system integrity value, and sends the current system integrity value to the network access authentication device; the network access authentication device judges whether the received current system integrity value of the device waiting to access and its stored integrity value of the device waiting to access are identical or not, and in a case where the received current system integrity value of the device waiting to access and its stored integrity value of the device waiting to access are identical, it determines that the network access is authenticated.

  • Patent number: 8031471
Abstract: An enclosure comprises first and second sections formed of a transparent material, a plurality of wall sections, a plurality of vent holes, a hinge, a cable access and a lock. The wall sections are joined to the first section to form the enclosure. The vent holes are formed in the wall sections to provide thermal flow through the enclosure. The hinge connects the second section to one of the plurality of wall sections to form a door in the enclosure. The cable access is located to allow authorized power and data connections within the enclosure when the door is in an open position, and sized to prevent unauthorized data connections within the enclosure when the door is in a closed position. The lock secures the enclosure by locking the door in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 8020553
Abstract: An oxygen concentrator comprises an oxygen reservoir and adsorbent columns that each have an inlet, an outlet, and a bed of adsorbent material. The concentrator also comprises an air inlet, an exhaust outlet, and a vacuum pump for pumping nitrogen rich gas from one of the column inlets to the exhaust outlet. A product control pump pumps oxygen rich gas from one of the column outlets to the oxygen reservoir. A control valve controls flow in and out of the columns by selectively connecting the air inlet to one column inlet, connecting the vacuum pump to another column inlet, and connecting the product control pump to a column outlet. A motor drives the vacuum pump and control valve to produce vacuum swing adsorption (VSA) cycles in which oxygen-rich product gas is separated and accumulated in the reservoir.

  • Patent number: 8020833
Abstract: A two-step, self-regulating valve (16) controls gas flow from a gas cylinder (12) in a high pressure system. The valve (16) includes a valve body (24), a piston (26), a plug (28), a valve actuator (34), and a piston actuator (32). The piston (26) is movable within the valve body (24) along an axis between a first and a second position. The plug (28) is movable within the valve body (24) along the axis between a valve closed position, a partially open position, and a fully open position. The valve actuator (34) allows the plug (28) to move from the valve closed position to the partially open position. The piston actuator (32) causes the piston (26) to move from the first position to the second position when a gas pressure in the gas cylinder (12) is less than a setpoint. When the piston (26) moves to the second position, the piston (26) allows the plug (28) to move from the partially open position to the fully open position.
