  • Patent number: 7497637
Abstract: A covert-print marking apparatus creates a unique marking system and method of using a casing or housing with a working-end and a non-working-end, a source or ink or other marking substance situated in the casing and a point having a covert-printing element on a outer surface of the casing. Thus the covert-printing element deposits a covert-printed line or mark with an embedded code formed by the element. The point bearing the covert-printing element is located at the working end of the casing. The marking element is a movable member that is able to rotate when moved along a surface, and the point is in fluid flow communication with the source of ink or other marking substance, chemical or element.

  • Patent number: 7484318
Abstract: A therapeutic device includes a supporting member that continuously and flexibly supports and bounds a plurality of small sized hard surfaced force members that support a user's foot during movement without clumping. The force members are slidable relative to each other and require no additional lubrication although dry or non-tacky liquid lubrication may be added. The support member is positioned on a support surface of a shoe sole and a shoe is constructed including the same. Alternative designs include structural members or positioning stitches relative to the supporting member minimizing undesirable movement of force members during use.

  • Patent number: 7479523
Abstract: The invention relates to a metallic-colored thermoplastic molding material, which contains metal glitter in various admixtures. In addition, the invention relates to a method to manufacture this molding material and its use in molded bodies with openings. No visible formation of flow lines occurs with the use of this molding material, so that the quality of the goods manufactured is improved. For this purpose, it is planned that the percentage by weight of the metal glitter in the thermoplastic molding material lies between six and 15%, wherein the size of the glitter is not in a Gaussian distribution, but the molding material to a large extent contains only equally sized glitter particles in glitter mixtures.

  • Patent number: 7469751
Abstract: A pneumatic hammer comprises an elongate hollow casing with operatively upper and lower ends and has a piston slidingly received within the casing and operable to reciprocate within the casing between upper and lower pressure chambers defined within the casing. The hammer further has an axially displaceable bit assembly at the lower end of the casing and a backend assembly at the upper end of the casing. The piston has a striking face at an end thereof proximate the bit assembly, and the piston is operable to impact on a contact surface of the bit assembly in an impact region of the casing. The hammer is characterized in that the piston is shaped and dimensioned at its proximal end to have a snug sliding fit with an interior of the casing in the impact region of the casing.

  • Patent number: 7470832
Abstract: A highly efficient in-vitro system of micropropagation of rose scented Geranium, Pelargonium graveolens L. Herit by a direct regeneration method to produce a large number of viable true to the type plants maintaining the genotype of an elite mother plant is provided. The process involves inoculating nodal explants on shoot regeneration and multiplication medium, transferring the multiple shots for further growth on medium for shoot growth, further transferring the shoot with sufficient growth to medium for rooting. The present invention also provides a process for the primary and secondary hardening of the in vitro generated plants with the efficient root regeneration system, which is hardened to give about 95% survival in the field conditions. The multiplication ratio achieved by the process is of the order of 1:12-1:20, resulting in significantly low cost of production in relatively lesser time.

  • Patent number: 7467495
Abstract: A strand-form vehicle seal is equipped with a flexible reinforcement with a substantially U-cross section. The flexible reinforcement includes at least two different substances formed of individual sections of a nonmetallic, soft-elastic material together with individual sections of another nonmetallic, however dimensionally stable and hard or rigid material. The individual sections in the reinforcement are interrupted and disposed intermittently each alternating one after the other along the direction of the reinforcement. The rigid sections form the clamping portions of the reinforcement. The soft elastic sections disposed between them lend flexibility to the reinforcement. In this manner, the vehicle seal is easier to process, dispose of and recycle. A method is also disclosed for making the seal.
