  • Patent number: 7673328
Abstract: A network system includes a plurality of individual Internet service providers each having access points, and a parallel Internet service provider connected to the plurality of individual Internet service providers, the individual Internet service providers and the parallel Internet service provider each include an authentication server. When the access point of a provider receives a connection request from a user who contracts with the parallel service provider, the provider transfers a connection ID and a password to an authentication server of the parallel Internet service provider to perform user authentication. When a result of the authentication is good, the user terminal is connected to the user terminal through the access point.

  • Patent number: 7665604
Abstract: A protective case for a product, such as a tambourine, having a predetermined configuration includes a clam shell housing generally configured to conform to the shape of the product. The housing is dimensioned to receive the product with clearance. The clam shell housing is formed of two clam shell members that are hinged to each other so that the clam shell members may be separated to allow the product to be inserted into or removed from the case. A suitable lock is provided for selectively locking the clam shell members to each other to prevent a separation of the clam shell members. A handle suitable for gripping is provided on the housing for carrying the case. Positioning members in the form of stabilizing walls are provided within the clam shell housing for positioning the product and stabilizing it against excessive movements within the clam shell housing when the clam shell members are juxtaposed in a closed condition of the clam shell housing.

  • Patent number: 7648709
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of Immunology, specifically with the branch of Immuno-Allergy and in particular with the use of adjuvant or carrier compounds, capable of modulating the immune response to allergens. The technical objective that is pursued is to obtain a pharmaceutical preparation of therapeutic or prophylactic use using bacterial proteoliposomes, which transform the allergic response Th2 and IgE when being applied in allergic individuals, toward a protector response Th1; as well as it is able to prevent the appearance and the development of allergies in individuals non-allergic yet. The vaccine composition consists of proteoliposomes derived from Gram-negative bacteria coupled to allergens and optionally contains other adjuvants or antigens. The method for its preparation and an immunization scheme of two doses are provided.

  • Patent number: 7635052
Abstract: A demountable display module that is stored in the form of a briefcase is described; it comprises a base formed by panels; a cover demountably attached to the base; posts that are demountably to the frames of the side panels of the base; and a board demountably attached to the upper end of the posts. Within the base, there is a first shelf and a second shelf each of them is housed in the inner part of one of the side panels. Likewise, first and second support and securing means are provided to keep the shelves in horizontal position and to secure the shelves in vertical position when they are housed in the side panel to which they attach. The cover of the module is used as a container body to house the rest of the elements of the module and it includes a handle to transport the module in the form of a briefcase; likewise, the method to manufacture the module is described.

  • Patent number: 7628317
Abstract: A product authentication system includes a carrier for receiving paper currency. The currency bears a unique serial number. The carrier is attached to a product the authenticity of which may need to be verified. The carrier can serve as a hang tag attached to various products, such as designer clothing, shoes, or watches. The carrier is preferably fully transparent to expose the currency embedded within it and to expose the unique serial number. A verification system allows a user, such as a consumer, to enter alphanumeric characters representing the serial number of the currency and includes a data base containing an inventory of serial numbers representing legitimate products to which carriers with unique articles of currency have been attached. The alphanumeric characters are compared with the serial numbers contained in the data base and an output is provided for indicating the authenticity of a product only when the entered alphanumeric characters correspond to a serial number stored in the data base.

  • Patent number: 7614811
Abstract: The present invention relates to a hand-held dispensing applicator comprising a source of fluid, a frangible applicator tip attached to the fluid source, and an absorbent member attached to the frangible applicator tip. When the frangible applicator tip is broken, fluid flows from the source to the absorbent member, whereby the fluid is applied and spread on a surface. Preferably, the frangible applicator tip comprises a support element permanently connected to the fluid source, a relatively rigid tongue element extending outwardly of the support element, and a frangible region therebetween. Preferably, the tongue element comprises ribs for reinforcing the tongue element to resist unintentional breaking of the frangible region. More preferably, the applicator tip comprises a semi-permeable or non-permeable cover disposed around the frangible region to control the speed and direction of the dispersion of the fluid in the absorbent member.

  • Patent number: 7603270
Abstract: A method for the transmission of audio signals between a transmitter and at least one receiver operates according to the prioritizing pixel transmission method. The audio signal is first broken down into a number of spectral fractions. The broken-down audio signal is stored in a two-dimensional array with a plurality of fields. The dimensions to be registered in the field are frequency and time; the value to be registered in the field is amplitude. Groups are then formed from the individual fields and a priority is assigned to the individual groups, in which the priority will be gauged as higher if the amplitudes of the group values are higher, and/or if the amplitude differences of the values of one group are higher, and/or if the groups are closer to actual time. Finally, the groups are transmitted to the receiver according to the order of their established priority.
