Abstract: A multi-section screen system includes a first of the flexible sheets of screen material that has zipper teeth along at least one side edge and a neighboring second flexible sheet of screen material that has mating zipper teeth along an abutting side edge. Mechanisms retract and deploy each of the flexible sheets in unison. A fastener is fixedly disposed between each two of the mechanisms. The fasteners automatically join the zipper teeth with the mating zipper teeth as the mechanisms deploy the flexible sheets and the fasteners automatically disengaging the zipper teeth from the mating zipper teeth as the mechanisms retract the flexible sheets.

Abstract: An application for a recycler includes a pressure and temperature resistant metal vessel that is filled with a liquid. Within the vessel is at least one submerged electric arc between a pair of carbon base electrodes powered by either a DC or AC current. The vessel has mechanical systems that maintain and optimize the electric arc. The electric arc produces a combustible gas. The liquid is pumped through a bore in one or more of the electrodes, delivering the liquid directly to the location of the arc, thereby reducing or eliminating any ignition of the gas by the arc.

Abstract: An article and method for coupling two or more objects together uses magnetically attractive forces generated by corresponding magnet(s) and/or metal piece(s) positioned at or near the periphery of the two or more objects. Multiple magnet(s) and/or metal piece(s) are spaced-apart around the periphery of the two or more objects. Alternatively, two corresponding annular magnet(s) and/or pieces of metal are used. Where multiple spaced-apart magnet(s) and/or metal piece(s) are used, the magnet(s) and/or metal piece(s) are either regularly spaced-apart or asymmetrically spaced. The coupling device is generally designed to hold tubular objects together. The coupling device has numerous advantages, including, for example, rapid assembly and disassembly, pressure release characteristics, superior ergonomics for the user, increased adjustability for specific applications, and improved durability.

Abstract: Described are equipment, a system, a kit and a method for the performance of a minimally-intensive body access, such as cardiac access. Epicardial Access Surgery (EAS) is disclosed. EAS does not need general anesthesia or extracorporeal circulation nor does it need a chest opening, which is very advantageous for various aspects. For instance an operation of a coronary artery bypass is created by creating a direct path of flow from one body artery into a coronary artery with the aid of catheter-based minimally-invasive EAS based bypass surgery. In addition, various medical devices are used, such as a special partially flexible needle, a special partially covered stent, and a special partially flexible port.

Abstract: A foldable, hanging urinal includes a back surface, hooks and a receptacle. The foldable hanging urinal folds flat for transportation, inventory and disposal. Hooks on the back of the foldable hanging urinal fold out and the foldable hanging urinal hangs on a toilet fixture. The receptacle folds out to form a watertight cup during use and the cup is positioned at a height lower than the rim of the toilet fixture thereby enabling urination by a person that is too short to reach the rim of the toilet fixture.

Abstract: An application for a safe or strong box attaches to a larger, heavy object and provides improved security to its contents from unwanted removal. The safe or strong box has a revolving door that, when a proper code/combination/biometric is provided, rotatably opens to expose the contents. In one embodiment, the safe/strong box interfaces to, for example, a bedding system using a barbed plate that readily inserts between a box spring and a mattress, but due to the barbs, is difficult to remove without lifting the mattress from the box spring making it at least difficult to remove by, for example, children in the home. In some embodiments, sound dampening devices are provided to provide a quiet retraction of the revolving door, so as to not alert an intruder when the occupant is retrieving a weapon such as a pistol.

Abstract: A hydraulically rebar bender for skid-steer loader includes a structural case with quick-attach flanges for attachment to skid-steer loaders. The case has an adjustable work tray mounted on the face for supporting the rebar when bending. One end of a hydraulic cylinder is connected to the case and a distal end is connected to a rack gear. The rack gear mates with a pinion gear that is mounted on an axle. The pinion gear is connected to a bending disc that rotates with the pinion gear. A force shaft is mounted on the bending disk. The force shaft travels in a circular cutout of the case and accepts various size mandrels. The axle protrudes out of the case and has a bend mandrel mounted thereon. Hydraulic power is supplied by the skid-steer loaders hydraulic system via hydraulic supply hoses.

Communication from the person is done by reflecting a light beam on a window of the vehicle and receiving the light beam, which is modulated by vibration of the window caused by the person's voice.
