Abstract: Novel cutting guides and surgical methods for use in knee arthroplasty are described. Embodiments of the inventive cutting guide apparatus include fixed and adjustable cutting guide blocks having a series of slots designed to accommodate a cutting saw. The cutting guides and surgical method are designed to allow for the provision of all desired surgical cuts upon the distal end of the femur, for subsequent implantation of a prosthesis thereto, without having to remove the cutting guide block.
Abstract: Novel femoral implants for use in hip arthroplasty are described and illustrated. The femoral implant comprise a stem and neck portion, with the neck portion having a novel configuration that provides for improved range in motion for the prosthesis without compromising strength of the implant.
Abstract: Novel cable tie-off devices for watercraft lift assemblies are disclosed and claimed herein. In certain embodiments, the cable tie-off devices are mounted onto the vertical pilings of the watercraft lift assembly without the use of bolts or other fasteners that directly penetrate the outer surface of the vertical pilings.
Abstract: A novel device and method for minimizing lateral hand and arm tremors in individuals is disclosed. The device is effective in minimizing tremors in patients suffering from Parkinson's Disease as well as other neurological or drug-induced conditions.

Abstract: Security vault panels and their method of manufacture are disclosed. Specifically, improved panels for manufacturing security vaults are disclosed, with each panel comprising (a) a rectangular metal mold having opposing metal end caps and opposing metal side rails and (b) a concrete slab disposed within the rectangular mold and permanently affixed thereto, the concrete slab having an exterior face and an interior face substantially uncovered by the mold. At least one of the metal side rails is configured to engage a complimentarily configured metal side rail of an adjacent panel. Three different configurations of metal side rails are disclosed for fabricating panels for subsequent installation as part of a wall, floor, or roof of the security vault.
Abstract: A new and distinct gladiolus variety, designated ‘Magic Lavender’, is shown and described. Compared to the ‘T-704’ variety, the ‘Magic Lavender’ variety produces spikes that are 8 cm taller and a head length that is 3 cm longer. The bloom of the variety comprises three large purple colored petals, two medium-sized purple colored petals, and one small white petal having a splash of purple fanning up the center of the petal.
Abstract: A new and distinct gladiolus variety, designated ‘White Knight’, is shown and described. The variety has a light green color (Yellow Green Group 145D) deep within the throat, followed by a pure white color throughout the rest of the petals (White Group 155D). The variety can maintain six to seven florets in open bloom simultaneously in a vase of water and is an excellent opener after transport.
