  • Patent number: 7693016
Abstract: There are provided an optical recording method, an optical recording apparatus, a one-chip CPU device, and a computer program. Reference data corresponding to a recording condition of a first recording layer, a physical characteristic value correlated with the recording condition, and a physical characteristic value correlated with a recording condition of a second recording layer are extracted from a data table in a memory, and the recording condition of the extracted reference data is set as a recording condition of a recording medium as an information recording target. When no correlated reference data exists, the closest reference data are extracted from the data table, and a recording pulse condition suitable for recording information on the second recording layer of an optical disk as the information recording target is extracted on the basis of the correlation between the recording condition of the reference data and the physical characteristic value.

  • Patent number: 7660218
Abstract: In certain inventive aspects there are provided an optical recording method, an evaluation indicator acquiring method, an optical recording apparatus, and a CPU device, which can save a test time before recording information. An irradiation condition suitable for recording information on a first recording layer is extracted by recording and reproducing test information. The test information is recorded on and reproduced from a second recording layer. The irradiation condition suitable for recording information on the second recording layer is extracted on the basis of the test result for the first recording layer and the test result for the second recording layer. Accordingly, it is possible to save the test time for extracting the irradiation condition of the second recording layer.

  • Patent number: 7656073
Abstract: A driving device, small in size and light in weight, is to stabilize the position of a surface-deforming element while reducing the effect of gravity thus enabling stable transfer and positioning. The driving device is structured to hold a movable member integrated with a piezoelectric vibrator and a lens by a shaft provided at a tip of a spring extended from an inner surface to center of a passageway. The shaft extends through an opening formed in a protrusion of the movable member. By a tensile force of the spring, the movable member at its outer periphery is pulled radially and held. When applying a voltage with a waveform changing sharply to the piezoelectric vibrator, the movable member flexes maximally upward or downward to have a reduced diameter and an increasing acceleration thereby making a movement. Then, when a frictional force increases, the protrusion is held at a point where the movable member moves.

  • Patent number: 7642962
Abstract: An adaptive array antenna is disclosed which permits the circuit scale to be reduced by omitting a down-converter, an AD converter, and interconnects for them while controlling the directivity well. In one aspect, the array antenna comprises phase shift-amplitude control modules which accept signals received by antenna elements via an analog-to-digital converter. The value of any one of phase-amplitude change modules is set to 1. The values of the other phase-amplitude change modules are set to 0. Thus, the signal from any one antenna element is accepted. This sequence of operations is repeated as many times as there are antenna elements, whereby signals received by all the antenna elements can be accepted.

Abstract: A valve mechanism (3) includes a valve seat member (31) having a guiding portion (319); a valve member (32) having a valve body (321), a guiding shaft (322), and a supporting shaft (323); and a sub-valve member (33) having a sub-valve body (331) and a connecting portion (332). The valve body (321) and the sub-valve body (331) ascend together by pressing the fluid-storing portion (11); and the valve body (321) travels to an open position and the sub-valve body (331) travels to a detached position. In this state, when a pressure applied to the fluid-storing portion (11) is removed, the valve body (321) and the sub-valve body (331) descend together; and after the sub-valve body (331) travels to a contact position, the valve body (321) travels to a closed position.
