Abstract: A system and method for providing signals from a plurality of satellites to a plurality of receiving units is disclosed. The system and method of the present invention make efficient use of multi-switches to enable multiple receiving units to seamlessly alternate between channels of various satellite signals, and optionally between satellite signals and terrestrial antenna signals. In basic form, first and second receptors, such as DISH satellite LNBs, are connected to input ports of primary Digital Broadcast System multi-switches having multiple input ports and output ports. The output ports of the first such primary multi-switch are conductively connected to first input ports of at least two secondary multi-switches, and the output ports of the second such primary multi-switch are conductively connected to second input ports of the same secondary multi-switches. The outputs of the secondary multi-switches are provided to receiving units.
Abstract: A label assembly having multiple viewing areas and indicia portions is disclosed. A label is affixed to a non-opaque container, such as a glass or plastic bottle. The container contains an opaque substance, such as a consumable beverage. In one embodiment, the label includes two vertically separated viewing areas through which indicia portions on the inward side of the label on the opposite side of the bottle can be viewed. Thus, as the beverage is consumed below a first level, the first indicia portion becomes viewable through the first viewing area. As the beverage is consumed below a second level, the second indicia portion becomes viewable through the second viewing area. The first indicia portion is optionally an inquiry or question, and the second indicia portion is optionally a response or answer which is logically related to the first indicia portion. Packages of such containers can be assembled having various configurations of categories of subject matter contained in the indicia portion pairs.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a feed-through filter having improved shielding and mounting functions. The feed-through filter of the present invention has an insulating substrate (40), one or more lead terminal through holes (42), lead terminal connection parts (43a), a top surface ground part (41), filter devices (C1 and C2), and a bottom surface ground part (44). The insulating substrate (40) has top, bottom and side surfaces. The lead terminal through holes (42) pass through the top and bottom surfaces of the insulating substrate (40). The lead terminal connection parts (43a) are separately formed around the through holes (42) on the top surface using conductive materials, and electrically connected to lead terminals (L1 and L2). The top surface ground part (41) is formed along the border of the top surface of the insulating substrate (40).
Abstract: A diaper storage and dispensing device and method is disclosed including a housing having an interior within which a stack of diapers is stored. The diapers are preferably stacked on top of a movable platform. The housing includes an access aperture through which the device can be stocked with diapers. The movable platform is preferably under tension in order to press the diapers upward. A dispensing opening is located toward the top of the device. The top diaper is aligned with the dispensing opening, and a diaper displacement mechanism operates to advance a single diaper at least partially out through the dispensing opening. The displacement mechanism is operated by a user pressing on a lever such as a foot pedal. After the diaper is removed, the next diaper in the stack is aligned with the displacement mechanism and the dispensing opening.
Abstract: A microcomputer heat dissipation system comprising heat-absorbing units, wherein said heat-absorbing units can be bonded to heat-generating electrical components inside the microcomputer and are in communication with a fluid circulating unit, and, to said fluid-circulating unit, there can be serially connected at least a heat-radiating pipe bondable to a heat-radiating plate, with said heat-radiating plate disposed on the outer wall surface of the chassis. In this manner, most of the heat generated by the microcomputer is dissipated to the space outside of the microcomputer, and, at the same time, the elimination of the internal fans of the microcomputer permits a considerable reduction in the acoustic noise level during operation of the microcomputer.
Abstract: A cable composed of material capable of conducting light, sound, or electricity is inserted by appropriate means into a material to be examined. A portion of said cable having predetermined parameters is fixed internally within the material. The cable is equipped with anchors that restrict movement within the material to be examined. Displacement or deformation of the material to be examined results in displacement and deformation of the sensor cable system. The anchors preferably concentrate stress or deformation at specific points of the cable as the cable deforms. The anchors may also allow movement of the cable such that displacement and deformation of the cable within the material is reduced.
Abstract: Flux cored wire for dual stainless steel having flux filled into a stainless steel sheath of the invention, the flux contains, with respect to the total weight of the wire: 0.02 to 0.10 wt % C; 0.10 to 1.0 wt % Si; 1.0 to 3.0 wt % Mn, 15 to 35 wt % Cr, 7.0 to 12.0 wt % Ni; 1.5 to 3.5 wt % Mo, 0.02 to 0.2 wt % N; 0.02 to 0.2 wt % Nb; and 0.5 to 5.6 wt % slag forming agent.
