    Abstract: The present invention provides a system, method and apparatus for testing multiple semiconductor wafers. The method includes the steps of attaching two or more wafer-interposer assemblies to a testing apparatus and testing each semiconductor die. Each wafer-interposer assembly comprises an interposer connected to one of the semiconductor wafers and each semiconductor wafer includes one or more semiconductor die. The present invention also provides a test fixture rack having a test fixture backbone, two or more wafer-interposer connectors attached to the test fixture backbone, and one or more connectors attached to the test fixture backbone and electrically coupled to the two or more wafer-interposer connectors such that each semiconductor die can be addressed and tested using the one or more connectors. Each wafer-interposer connector is designed to receive a wafer-interposer assembly having an interposer connected to one of the semiconductor wafers.

    Abstract: A gravel packing apparatus comprises multiple joints each having substantially the same construction and each having a perforated outer tubular (150, 152) positioned around a sand control screen (154, 156) including a slurry passageway (190, 194) and a production pathway (188, 192) therebetween. First and second transition members (210, 204) are disposed at opposite ends of each joint. When two such joints are connected together, the second transition member (204) of one joint is proximate the first transition member (210) of the next joint such that a fluid traveling from the slurry passageway (190) of one joint to the slurry passageway (194) of the next joint travels from the exterior to the interior of the second transition member (204) of the one joint and from the interior to the exterior of the first transition member (210) of the next joint.

    Abstract: A matched set of integrated circuit chips (24) and a method for assembling such integrated circuit chips (24) into a matched set are disclosed. A semiconductor wafer (18) having a plurality of integrated circuit chips (24) is electrically and mechanically coupled to a wafer interposer (12) to form a wafer-interposer assembly (10). The integrated circuit chips (24) of the wafer (18) are then tested together by attaching the wafer-interposer assembly (10) to a testing apparatus and running the integrated circuit chips (24) through various testing sequences. The wafer-interposer assembly (10) is then diced into a plurality of chip assemblies each having a chip (24) and a section of the wafer interposer (12). Based upon the testing, the chip assemblies are sorted and at least two of the chip assemblies are selected for inclusion in the matched set.

The interposer having one or more communication interfaces and a second electrical contact pad corresponding to each of the one or more first electrical contact pads on each semiconductor die of the semiconductor wafer, and at least one of the second electrical contact pads electrically connected to the one or more communication interfaces. The wafer-interposer assembly is formed by connecting each first electrical contact pad of the semiconductor wafer to the corresponding second electrical contact pad of the interposer with a conductive attachment element.

    Abstract: A seal assembly (60) for controlling the flow of fluids in an annulus (68) between a continuous tubular (62) and a cased wellbore (64) is disclosed. The seal assembly (60) includes anchor slips (72) and a seal element (78). The seal assembly (60) is actuated by communicating hydraulic fluid to a setting assembly (82) via an operating fluid conduit integral with the tubular (62). Upon actuation, the setting assembly (82) axially shifts a pair of slip ramps (74, 76) which radially expands the anchor slips (72) into gripping engagement with the wellbore (64) and radially expands the seal element (78) into sealing engagement with the wellbore (64).

Within the second annulus is an axially extending production pathway (146) and an axially extending slurry passageway (144), which is defined between a sheet member (140) positioned on the sand control screen (118) and a channel (132). The outer tubular (112) has outlets (116) that are substantially aligned with outlets (142) of the channel (132). When a fluid slurry containing gravel is injected through the slurry passageway (144), the fluid slurry exits through the outlets (116, 142) leaving gravel in the first annulus, thereby gravel packing the interval.

A filter medium (62) is positioned about the exterior of the base pipe (56) to filter particulate matter out of the production fluids. One-way valves (70) are positioned within the openings (58) of the base pipe (56) to prevent fluid flow from the interior of the base pipe (56) to the exterior of the base pipe (56) during and following a treatment process. The one-way valves (70), however, are actuatable to allow fluid flow from the exterior of the base pipe (56) to the interior of the base pipe (56) to allow production of fluids from the formation (14).

As the layers (94-104) are sequentially deformed, a subsequent layer (96) of energy absorbing members (88) begins to deform before the previous layer (94) of energy absorbing members (88) is completely deformed. The deformation of the energy absorbing members (88) absorbs the shock.
