Abstract: The planar multi-directional antenna mainly contains a flat casing and a double-layered circuit board housed inside the casing. The circuit board's two major sides are patterned in a symmetrical manner and traces are routed and extended along the circumference of the circuit board for producing multi-directional reception field pattern. A raised metallic plate is configured in the center on a first major side for avoiding the coupling effect from current converging in the center and for overcoming the dielectric loss by using air. A ferrite core is configured at the feeding terminal of the antenna as a means of impedance conversion. A SMD inductor and a SMD capacitor are provided on the other major side for increasing the antenna's capability of receiving signals of larger wavelength.

Abstract: A gas meter is mounted between vertical and horizontal branch tubes of a gas canister valve and has an indication pointer driven by a magnetic block that is movable inside the valve to indicate a residual quantity of gas inside the canister. The gas meter includes a casing that is magnetically non-conductive and forms at a top edge of a back thereof an inverted slope surface, an upper clamp extending from opposite sides of the inverted slope surface in an upward direction to clamp the vertical branch tube, and a side clamp engageable with the horizontal branch tube. The back of the meter casing is recessed at a location opposite to and interfering with an outer top edge of an enclosure for the magnetic block to form a fitting groove that corresponds to the top edge of the enclosure.

Abstract: A ratchet wrench includes a parts replacement structure that ensures effort-saved and smooth operation and prevents parts from getting lost. The wrench has a handle having an end forming a head portion that rotatably receives therein a driving collar. A lid plate is fixed to the head portion to retain a pawl member that engages and controls the rotation of the driving collar. The pawl member includes a pusher pad positioned on and movable along a top of the lid plate. A retention block is set at the side of the pawl member opposite to the driving collar to apply a biasing force to the pawl member through a push bar. In this arrangement, the push bar will not get lost when the pawl member disengages from and thus releases the driving collar for replacement.

Abstract: A control switch includes a rotary shaft rotatably mounted therein. A switching knob is mounted to the rotary shaft and a surface of the control switch. Also, a stationary shaft is arranged beside the rotary shaft. A driving control disk and a locking control disk are sequentially and rotatably fit onto the stationary shaft so that when the switching knob on the surface is actuated, the rotary shaft is rotated to selectively drive cables through the driving control disk or the locking control disk to thereby effect switching of transmission modes and the function of locking. Thus, the amount of space required for installation is reduced and the chance of malfunctioning is also reduced and further, the costs are reduced.

Abstract: A stereopsis aqua-lamp photo frame assembly includes a base inside which a light-emitting element that generates heat is mounted. The base supports thereon an aqua-lamp photo frame that has front and rear surfaces respectively forming front-side and rear-side recessed chambers. One of the recessed chambers receives and holds therein a photo or a picture. The aqua-lamp photo frame forms therein a flow channel at a portion thereof corresponding to the two recessed chambers, whereby the heat generated by the light-emitting element causes a low boiling point flowable medium contained in the aqua-lamp photo frame to flow and spangles contained in the flowable medium entrain the flowing medium to pass through the flow channel, serving as embellishment of the photo or picture, thereby enhancing a stereopsis effect of the photo frame.

Abstract: An electronic pacifier thermometer is provided. The electronic pacifier thermometer is composed of a pacifier device and a measurement device. The pacifier device has a built-in temperature sensing element (e.g., a temperature sensor) and a connector element. The measurement device contains a display, a circuit board mainly which is controlled by an integrated circuit, and a cable element. The circuit board contains an incomplete temperature measurement circuit that would be made complete through connection to the temperature sensing element. The temperature measurement circuit has a reference resistor (could also be installed inside the pacifier device) whose resistance difference is relative to the temperature sensing element in the pacifier device which is linearly corresponds to the temperature difference between the measured temperature and a pre-determined temperature value.

Abstract: An electrically driven powder cosmetics application device is controlled by high speed operation of a motor together with an eccentric weight block to induce vibration for facilitating uniform dispensing of powder cosmetics. The device includes a plastic container having an end forming a powder dispensing port containing therein a filter. Provided outside the dispensing port is a hollow collar fit over a dispensing device including a brush and a brush hair confiner tube with a powder outlet passage arranged therein. An opposite end of the container has a bottom receiving therein a vibration device including a rotation motor and an eccentric weight and a battery set for supplying electrical power and controlled by a switch to turn on/off vibration operation. With the vibration device turned on, the container is provided with assistance for dispensing cosmetics thereby ensuring uniform and smooth dispensing of the powder cosmetics contained in the container.

Abstract: A wind turbine includes a nacelle that houses a dynamo and a vane wheel coupled to an end of the dynamo. The nacelle is movably mounted to a post. The nacelle has a body forming a circumferentially extending curved slot that has a front portion forming a reducing section and a rear portion forming an expanding section. The vane wheel has a hub at a center thereof and including a plurality of blades radially extending therefrom. Each blade has an end forming a down wash. With the curved design of the nacelle body, the rising angle of airflow exiting the nacelle is improved and with the down wash, the occurrence of tip vortex is suppressed, whereby the utilization efficiency of wind energy in the wind generation operations is improved.

Abstract: A closet organizer includes a shelf that has horizontal partition panels fixedly connected between two vertical side panels thereof to divide the internal space of the shelf into multiple vertically spaced receiving spaces, and -shaped, -shaped and L-shaped partition members selectively mounted in the receiving spaces to divide each receiving space into multiple compartments, and hook and loop materials respectively provided at the top and bottom sides of the horizontal partition panels and the -shaped, -shaped and L-shaped partition members for enabling the -shaped, -shaped and L-shaped partition members to be detachably secured to the two vertical side panels horizontal partition panels of the shelf.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a foldable picture-taking device with scanning function including a picture-taking main body, a connecting module, and a supporting base module, wherein one end of the picture-taking main body is linked with a first revolving device and the supporting base module is linked with a second revolving device. The whole body can provide a support while taking the pictures and a convenient angle adjustment. While not being used it can be folded and carried conveniently and let the lens have a very good protection. The present invention is further cooperated with a scanning-system-software to have scanning and picture-taking functions through the connection between signal connecting interface in the picture-taking device and computer.

Abstract: A bolt brush includes a housing, a scraper and a ring plate. The housing has a holding space which is provided with an opening at an end and emplaces the scraper, an inner wall of the housing, close to that opening, is surrounded with a ring groove, and a side of the scraper is provided with plural brush hairs. The ring plate is locked in the ring groove, a side of the ring plate is an opening, and more than one pick-up member is formed close to that opening.

Abstract: The security device contains at least a main unit with a number of wired external sensors and detectors. The main unit itself has built-in image capturing and motion detection capabilities that can be operated independently or to provide additional confirmation to the events detected by the external sensors and detectors. The main unit contains a radio transceiver member capable of conducting two-way, real-time and message-based, mobile communications via a mobile communication network. As such, whenever some abnormality is detected, the main unit is able to dial a specific party to play pre-recorded voice message and/or send captured images or video clips in real time or in some messages.

Abstract: A clutch having high engaging force and featuring of smooth operation, wherein clutch weights that are biased by return elements are subject to thrusting force caused by constraint sections of a main driving plate that receive and convert torque from an engine into the pressing action against engaging slots defined in the clutch weights so as to gain enhanced engaging force even when the minor difference or error existing on the response time of the clutch weight or the strength of the return elements and also provides anti-reversal function to reduced the oscillation and let the power output more smooth and more stable. Accordingly, slippage of clutch and wear of the clutch wear pad are both reduced and temperature rise of the wear pad is also reduced.

Abstract: The LED lamp contains one or more base plates, each having a plurality of through terminal holes connected by a patterned conduction layer. The base plates are separated by support tubes and a number of LEDs have their terminals threaded through the terminal holes and soldered to the conduction layers of the base plates. When the LEDs are turned on, the produced heat is dissipated first by the lengthy terminals of the LEDs between the base plates, and then by the extended conduction layers along the base plates. A large number of LEDs therefore could be packed into an even smaller space and the LED lamp has an even lower production cost.

Abstract: A lighting device includes a cover, a cap, a central post having opposite ends coupled to the cover and the cap respectively, and a plurality of first and second frames. The cover and the cap both form a plurality of circumferentially distributed slots opposite to each other. The first and second frames have ends respectively fit into the slots of the cover and the cap and each frame carries at least one light-emitting diode. As such, a light-emitting diode lighting device that is hollow, light-weighted, and exhibiting excellent heat dissipation is formed.

Abstract: An aromatic deodorant includes a first cover, a second cover and a scent device. An interior of the first cover is extended outward with a fixing element, an interior of the second cover is extended outward with a fixing seat to pivot the fixing element, the scent device is transfixed at the fixing element and is fixed by the fixing seat, and a scent dissipated by the scent device is released outside by convection through air vents on the first cover. When stopping dissipating the scent, a user only needs to rotate the first cover and the second cover through pivoting of the fixing element and the fixing seat, and uses the isolation plate on the second cover to block the air vents. Thus, the deodorant can be put in any space where a bad smell needs to be removed and not only saves space but is used very conveniently.

Abstract: A hook seat tightening structure for ship covers comprises a body constituted by a seat and a housing, wherein two rollers, one turntable, one wheel, one lock bolt, and one lock member are located therein. A depressing piece and a tenon are located at two sides of the lock bolt respectively. The lock bolt can be rotated and elastically restored by the tenon, which is connected with a spring. The depressing piece is pressed against one-way ratchets on the turntable, and the lock bolt can be rotated subject to a control by a key. A rope enters and is reeved on the turntable and wheel, to constitute a tightening device permitting a one-way gliding of the rope. Accordingly, when the lock member is locked by rotating the key, the tenon on the lock member can be latched on the depressing piece of the lock bolt, thereby achieving a locking function.
