  • Patent number: 4091906
Abstract: A collapsible electric foot-toe guard is employed with a loading platform having electric controlled lift and descent movements, functioning as a safety device in the protection against unwitting protrusion of human limbs into the path of descent of the platform lift, said collapsible foot-toe guard being comprised of an outwardly depended contact plate moveably engaging a base support plate through hinge means to permit said contact plate with contact thereof to fold toward the base support plate, such folding movement effective to break a normally open, held closed electric limit switch circuit to arrest descent of the platform lift.

  • Patent number: 4077198
Abstract: A novel clock apparatus is provided which visually indicates attained time of day by the design of the placement order of free movable spheroids on a pivotable spheroid holder member effective to be sustained in a first stable position whereby spheroids can be loaded thereon to be positioned with reference to time related indicia numerals thereon until the number of such spheroids are then effective to cause pivoting of said holder member to a second stable position whereby loaded spheroids can be unloaded therefrom to place such unloaded spheroids into a closed or endless loop motion system whereby collecting means collect the unloading spheroids for reuse and time reference loading means reuse the unloaded spheroids against a predetermined time reference unit such as a minute by reloading the spheroids on to the holder member.

  • Patent number: 4055007
Abstract: A box-like receptacle comprises an earth moving and handling apparatus adapted for use as a rear mounted scraper and as a front mounted bucket for digging, loading, transporting and dumping earth material for excavation and landscaping purposes. The receptacle includes a movable end gate effective to move forwardly to dump loaded earth. The movable end gate is guided in its movement without means of multiple and complicated guide tracks or rollers but instead comprises improved guide means defined by a pair of parallel spaced tubular post members each having a stationary outer sleeve member and a sliding inner sleeve member telescopically received by the outer sleeve member. The free end portion of the inner sleeve members are attached to the rear mid-region of the movable end gate.

  • Patent number: 3999050
Abstract: An electronic diary having combined clock-calendar means and diary storage means is provided wherein a random access memory is employed in a diary mode of operation for the storage and readout of preselected daily schedule and message events keyed for visual display in response to equal time comparisons with real time of day TOD as generated by the clock-calendar means. The electronic diary is capable of being added to present state-of-the-art electronic calculators for facilitating economy of parts through commonality of keyboard, power supply and visual display features. The electronic diary is comprised of a keyboard selector panel, power supply means, a message storage and control unit, a clock and calendar unit, display control logic, time comparison logic, audible alarm, and visual display means. Optionally, the electronic diary is comprised of a keyboard selector panel, power supply means, memory, micro-processor circuit, and visual display means.
