Abstract: Abstract Focusing system of the light beam for a videoprojector or comprising at least an image microforming device DMD (Digital Micromirror Device); the main feature of the system consisting in that it comprises at least an aspheric lens associated to at least an achromatic doublet. This configuration allows a substantial reduction of chromatic aberration, spherical aberration, curvature of field and the distortions, obtaining a more homogeneous illumination of the image microforming device.

Abstract: A transmission for a bicycle pedal has a fixed axle with an end operatively connected to a wheel of the bicycle and a guide axle connected to the fixed axle to form a crank. A bicycle pedal is rotatably mounted on a slider which is movably mounted on a guide portion of the guide rod for translation therealong. The ration of gyration of the pedal can be varied by sliding the pedal along the guide axle and/or telescoping the guide axle relative to the fixed axle. The slider and mounted pedal can be rotated toward the bicycle frame for compact storage.

Abstract: The tab on the blade of a laryngoscope presents a flexible hook and an elastically-flexible wall for being inclined towards the hook when it engages a stationary abutment situated on the handle of the laryngoscope while the hook is engaged on a bar present in a cavity of the laryngoscope.

Abstract: A cap with sunglasses has an elongated holder mounted on the underside of the visor. A carrier partially surrounds the holder and is slidable therealong for adjusting the position of sunglasses mounted on the carrier. A latching assembly is captured in the carrier and has projections in the form of tines for being selectively inserted between teeth disposed along the length of the holder. A spring normally urges the latching means to insert the tines between the holder teeth. Movement of the carrier relative to the holder is permitted when the latching assembly is pressed against the restoring spring force to disengage the projections on the latching assembly from between the holder teeth to permit adjustment of the position of the sunglasses.

Abstract: The invention relates to an air separator for sifting material suspended in a flow of gas having course material and fine material by using a sifting wheel which rotates in a sifting chamber and which has blades fixed on the external periphery thereof. The blade channels are cross-flown radially from the outside by gas containing the suspended fine particles. The oversized particles are rejected before reaching he internal end of the blade canal. The flow of fine particles is guided through the blade channels in a forced manner in a plurality of consecutive layers in the direction of the axis of rotation. The arrangement in layers of the flow of fine particles after it leaves the blade channels remains in place until it leaves the sifting chamber.

Abstract: Dispensing device of washing agents for a household washing machine, in particular a dishwasher, said dispenser having at least a tank for a liquid washing agent and an arrangement for dispensing a dose of said liquid washing agent, wherein this arrangement comprises: a passage, being adapted to put the inside of the tank in hydraulic communication with a discharge outlet for said liquid washing agent; first plugging means, act on said passage and capable of taking a first position due to which the washing agent cannot reach said discharge outlet, and a second position due to which the washing agent is able to reach said discharge outlet; actuating means producing actuation of said first plugging means. According to the invention, controllable safety means act along said passage are provided, which normally operate for preventing washing agent downflow from said tank to said passage, independently from the position or state of the first plugging means.

Abstract: Method for drying laundry and a machine able to implement such a method, which provides for the use of only one electric resistance for heating the air utilized for drying purposes. According to the invention, during the starting phase of the drying process, i.e. the initial stage of the air heating, said resistance is applied continuously for exploiting its maximum power and quickly reach a predetermined temperature of the drying air. Following the attainment of said predetermined temperature, a special control circuit causes said resistance to be applied in a shuttered or modulated way, i.e. by alternating application phases to non-application phases within repetitive reference periods, in order to manage the power of the resistance in its steady-state condition for obtaining a substantial constancy of the air temperature.

Abstract: A pipe formed from a concrete cylinder has an end ring with a ferrule which can be snuggly mounted on one end of the pipe and a skirt axially adjacent to the ferrule for receiving a mail endpiece of another pipe. The ferrule is expanded as it is mounted on the cylinder and exerts a compressive force against the outer peripheral face of the cylinder for forming a secure seal. A rib may be disposed on an inner annular surface of the ferrule and an adhesive may be applied for enhancing the seal between the cylinder and the ferrule.

Abstract: A washing agent dispenser is described, for a household washing machine, namely a dishwasher, said dispenser including a tank for containing a liquid washing agent, to which a device is associated for the visual control of the level of said liquid washing agent. According to the invention, said control device has a plurality of elements of a substantially transparent material, which are inserted in respective passages extending between said tank and the outside of the body of the dispenser. The parts of each one of said transparent elements which are visible outside said body form the steps of a scale indicating the level of said liquid washing agent contained in the tank.

The air chamber 10 comprises a supporting portion 11, a variable portion 12 having a horizontal portion 12a and a sloping portion 12b, a ceiling portion 13 closing the upper side of the variable portion 12, an outer flange 15, and a pair of hinge portions 17, each being extended from one side of the outer flange 15. The cup shaped air housing 20 comprises a suction hole 22 and an air vent 23. The water saving siphon cover 100 is installed such that the end of the hinge portion 17 blocks an outlet port 36 in a water tank 37, being hinged to the overflow tube 31. Thus, the water saving siphon cover 100 can save water according to the required amount of wash water based on a change in the opening time of the outlet port 36 caused by a difference between the buoyant force for flushing urine and the buoyant force for flushing feces.
