Abstract: The present invention is directed to a dual pet leash, including a spherical-shaped or ellipsoid-shaped or cone-shaped or cylindrical-shaped or egg-shaped detangling element, a handle located adjacent the detangling element, and two or more pet attachment portions or straps extending from the detangling element, the pet attachment portions spaced approximately equidistant from each other, or spaced on approximately opposite sides of the detangling element. Latches for attaching to the pet attachment portions to a pet's collar or pet's harness are also provided.
Abstract: An improved syringe and spring clip therefor used in single use (aspirating and non-aspirating) syringes in which the syringe has an improved, X-shaped nose piece for assisting the attachment of a sheath and an improved spring clip for both ensuring better operation of the single use aspect of the device and for ensuring that only a predetermined amount of medicine is loaded into the syringe when the syringe is loaded with medicine.
Abstract: Date can be printed on a business card in a business card case by realizing a business card case with a printing function. The business card case with a printing function includes an upper case (1) provided with a pressing rubber (12) and a pressing block (13) of a printing hammer, a lower case (2) connected to the upper case (1) so as to be freely opened and closed, a card containing section (3) formed in the case, a typing device in which a plurality of date printing type units coupled so as to move up and down among a plurality of type blocks each having a type formed on the upper surface are fixed to a type case (4), and a printing ribbon (5) for printing the date. The date is printed by pressing the print hammer and pressing the business card (34) against the type with the printing ribbon (5) interposed therebetween.
Abstract: A combination lantern and insect repellent dispensing apparatus. Light is produced by light bulbs or LEDs whereas insect repellent is dispensed by heating a volatilizable insecticide. The insecticide and portable light may be used either concurrently or independently of each other.
Abstract: A cluster mounting mechanism that utilizes a center anchor comprising a channel to assist in holding stones in place. The channel holds the lower stones in place as the upper stones are set in the mounting. The channels are formed of pairs of opposite recesses located perpendicularly with respect to each other.
Abstract: An electrical switch and outlet design which includes a modular electrical component system having a universal connector which can receive replacement switches, sockets and other electrical components. The connection between these switches, sockets or other components and the universal connector is controlled by a lifting system in which the entirety of the replacement module is inserted into a receptacle or removed therefrom without the user touching any electrical wiring. Essentially, components are changed by plugging a component into and unplugging one from a universal grounded connector.

Abstract: A cosmetic stick applicator for treating the lips of a person. The applicator has an elongate, tubular body with an inner chamber for storing a chemical formulation or substance such as an exfoliant, to be applied to the lips. One end of the body has an external, oblique, lip-engageable abrasive applicator surface containing a product-dispensing orifice through which the substance can be ejected. Such ejection is accomplished by means of a finger-engageable wheel that is turned to forcibly discharge the substance through the orifices and onto the applicator surface. Thereafter this surface which now contains the discharged substance, is rubbed against the lips and thus effects a scrubbing thereof, which brings about gentle and controlled exfoliation of accumulated dead skin cells. Following this, excess dead cell material can be wiped off with a tissue or pad.
Abstract: The invention relates to an automated system for adjusting line array speakers. The automated system includes a system for moving two or more speakers with a moving device. Additionally, moving two linear actuators essentially simultaneously; a bracket to attach to the moving device to the speaker; a remote control system for controlling the movement of the speakers and for displaying the position of the speakers in real time; and a system for modeling and determining the proper frequency response for a venue and automatically adjusting the linear array speaker systems to the proper position for the proper frequency response.
Abstract: The present invention provides a system, method and medium for monitoring and managing the resource consumption and resource infrastructure of at least one building in real time. The present invention integrates field studies of at least one building's resource consumption and resource infrastructure with real time resource usage. The integrated information can be operated on by the analytical tools of the present invention to forecast future resource consumption and obtain resource market information. The integrated resource information can also be used to feed back into the building resource management system of at least one building to control the resource states of the at least one building. The present invention provides a graphical user interface for monitoring and managing the components of the resource consumption and resource infrastructure of at least one building.
