  • Patent number: 7630839
Abstract: Systems and methods for evaluating probe signal level readings in a manner that allows a low water detector to distinguish between a probe that is under a fluid level, or is above the fluid level and either being splashed or is within a foam. Low water detectors which utilize these systems and methods are also provided. The detectors generally utilize a representative probe reading, and a dynamic indicator between probe readings, for a set of probe readings taken in a time period to detect low water levels, foam, or surge.

  • Patent number: 7581432
Abstract: A conduit is connected to the interstice between an outer and inner wall of a storage tank or the liner thereof and may be used to monitor the integrity of the interstice. The conduit comprises a coupling in fluid communication with the interstice, a tube connected at one end to the coupling and having a length sufficient to extend into a riser pipe of the tank. The conduit may also include a bushing holding the tube apart from the tank and providing for the variable positioning of the tube with respect to the tank. A method of monitoring the integrity of the interstice uses monitoring equipment connected to the conduit.

  • Patent number: 7533607
Abstract: A registration system for a rotary press including circumferential and sidelay registers designed to interface to the press unit using more direct motion translation. In particular, to go from rotational motion of a motor to linear motion of the adjustment with fewer transitions. Also discussed are measurement systems which measure the adjustments made to the plate cylinder more directly by measuring the linear movement of components acting on the cylinder as opposed to the movement of the motor or power source of the registration system. These systems can provide for more accurate movement to the various elements.

  • Patent number: 7532080
Abstract: An oscillator circuit configuration comprising in an LC-parallel oscillatory circuit and a transistor as an amplifying element. A compensating winding is associated with the parallel oscillatory circuit whereby the collector voltage of the transistor is fed to said winding in order to compensate the effect of the parasitic collector capacity. Preferably, the collector current from the transistor is maintained constant be an amplifier.

  • Patent number: 7494696
Abstract: It is now feasible to coat metal objects having a substantially unexpanded surface area with a fused plasticized polyvinyl chloride coating uniformly covering and firmly anchored to the metal object. This objective is achieved by providing a metal substrate to be coated with small anchoring apertures which allow the fused coating to firmly anchor and bond onto and around the metal object and a series of leveling apertures which permit for a more uniform drainage of excessive unfused coating material from the metal object before the fusing of the coating thereto.
