Abstract: A method for interference-free, centrally controlled switchover from a first to a second program channel in a data transmission system for distributing encoded program data streams to multiple subscribers includes delivering at least two program data streams, each of which is associated with a separate program channel, to a separate, controllable encoder. The program data streams are encoded in the associated encoders. The encoded first and second program data streams are fed into a distribution network. One encoded program data stream is delivered through a routing device to at least one target subscriber. Control parameters are provisioned in a central control device which permits a synchronized activation of the controllable encoders and at least one switching device for interference-free switchover of the program channels. An interference-free switchover from the first to the second program channel is executed.

Abstract: Subscriber travel behavior is defined using cellular call location data. The defined travel behavior is used to segment the customer population. Abstract: A hydraulically operated wedge lock system provides a releasable mechanical lock between telescoping boom segments. Each wedge lock mechanism includes a stationary backing wedge block that defines an angled smooth surface. A stationary shaft and piston is supported generally parallel to the backing wedge block. A slidable wedge block biased by a spring to a locked position is supported for reciprocal movement on the shaft along the angled smooth surface. Hydraulic fluid urges the slidable wedge block against the bias of the spring to an unlocked position.

Abstract: A multi-mode hybrid drive train offers selective operation in any one of series, parallel, and power split modes. The multi-mode hybrid drive train includes two planetary gear sets and a collection of specifically placed brakes and clutches relative to those gear sets. The first planetary gear train includes a power input for receiving power from a primary rotational power source, as well as a first sun gear, first carrier and first ring gear. The second planetary gear train similarly includes a power input as well as a second sun gear, a second carrier connected to a final drive, and a second ring gear. A first motor is linked to the first sun gear and a second motor is linked to the second sun gear such that selective activation of the clutches, brakes, and motors places the multi-mode hybrid drive train in a selected mode of operation.

The optical mirror element typically includes a first, reflective surface, and a second surface having uneven or granular features, wherein light passing through the first surface is diffusely reflected by the uneven or granular features of the second surface. The optical mirror elements are particularly well suited for use in Herriott Cell arrangements in gas analyzers.
Abstract: A method for concentrating a particulate matter, comprising at least two constituents of different densities, in which a slurry of particulate matter is subjected to centrifugation and to centripetal pulses in a centrifugation chamber. A dense fraction of the slurry and a light fraction of the slurry are drawn off separately from the centrifugation chamber. In order to produce the centripetal pulses, a fluid is injected into the slurry, in a direction oblique or tangential to the direction of centrifugation. The fluid is injected substantially continuously into the slurry.
Abstract: A method for controlling a real-time media stream between a sender and a receiver. The method includes streaming, from the sender, media packets over a network at a bit-rate, determining at the sender a loss-rate for the streamed media packets not received at the receiver. The sender optionally generates duplicate packets for a selected number of media packets and streams the duplicate packets over the network when the loss-rate is above a first loss-rate threshold, or varies the bit-rate of streaming the media packets over the network when the loss-rate is above a second loss-rate threshold.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for obtaining an attenuation factor. The method is adapted to process the synthesized signal in packet loss concealment, and includes: obtaining a change trend of a signal; obtaining an attenuation factor, according to the change trend of the signal. The present invention also discloses an apparatus for obtaining an attenuation factor. A self-adaptive attenuation factor is adjusted dynamically by using the latest change trend of a history signal by using the present invention. The smooth transition from the history data to the data last received is realized so that the attenuation speed is kept consistent between the compensated signal and the original signal as much as possible for adapting to the characteristic of various human voices.

Abstract: In an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method of managing IEEE1588 timestamps is disclosed. The method includes: receiving a data frame and a storage address of synchronized timestamp controlling information; obtaining the timestamp controlling information for the data frame to control the timestamp processing according to the storage address; obtaining a timestamp while receiving the data frame, obtaining a required timestamp according to the timestamp and adding the required timestamp into the data frame according to the timestamp controlling information; and sending the data frame added with the timestamp. A downstream timestamp managing module, an upstream timestamp managing module, and relevant timestamp managing systems are also disclosed in an embodiment of the present disclosure. The embodiment can conveniently and accurately add or obtain IEEE1588 timestamp into or from 10 Gbit/s Ethernet and simultaneously save resources and guarantee the synchronization of timestamp and data.

Abstract: A method, system, and device for retransmitting data are provided. The method includes the following steps. In Step A, a receiving device detects a received frame that bears data, determines that the data frame is damaged, and judges whether the number of the damaged frames meets a set retransmission threshold value in a set range or not. If yes, Step B is performed. Otherwise, Step C is performed. In Step B, the receiving device sends a retransmission request to a sending device, the sending device retransmits the frame, and the process turns to Step A. In Step C, the receiving device performs a decoding processing on the data borne in the damaged frame that is received.
Abstract: A method and a device for determining channel feedback information in a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system are provided. The method includes: obtaining an (N?1)th layer interference-plus-noise matrix in an LTE system, and obtaining an Nth layer interference-plus-noise matrix according to the (N?1)th layer interference-plus-noise matrix; and then, calculating a Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) corresponding to the Nth layer interference-plus-noise matrix according to the Nth layer interference-plus-noise matrix, and determining channel feedback information according to the SINR. It can be seen that, in the embodiments of the present invention, in a processing manner, a current layer interference-plus-noise matrix is calculated according to an obtained previous layer interference-plus-noise matrix through calculation in a calculation process of the channel feedback information, thus effectively reducing the calculation amount in the calculation process of the channel feedback information.
Abstract: A method for realizing a multimedia call includes the following steps. A call request initiated by a calling terminal is received. An indication of the multimedia negotiation capability of the calling terminal is acquired, in which the indication of the multimedia negotiation capability identifies whether the terminal has the capability of supporting multiple multimedia negotiations or not. It is determined, according to the indication of the multimedia negotiation capability, whether the calling terminal has the capability of supporting multiple multimedia negotiations or not. A multimedia call connection is performed according to the multimedia negotiation capability of the calling terminal. It is determined, according to the factor whether the calling terminal has the capability of supporting multiple multimedia negotiations or not, how to perform the multimedia call connection, so as to flexibly realize the multimedia call connection accordingly.
Abstract: The embodiments of the present invention disclose a spectrum optimization method and device and digital subscriber line system, the method comprising: calculating according to acquired information of each of respective subcarriers on the DSL line to be optimized to obtain optimized transmission power of a subcarrier to be optimized in a DSL line to be optimized; calculating a transmission rate of the DSL line to be optimized according to the optimized transmission power; and comparing the transmission rate with a target rate of the DSL line to be optimized, and if the transmission rate is less than the target rate, updating the information of an optimized subcarrier, and performing a recalculation.
