Abstract: A method and apparatus for combined injection moulding and blow forming of containers or objects of plastics material. A preform is formed on a mandrel by injection moulding. The mandrel with the preform is transferred from the injection mould to a blow forming mould and the preform is blow formed to the final product. It is characteristic of the invention that the preforms are formed in the injection mould and extracted from the injection mould at a higher rate than their forming in the blow forming mould, two or more preforms being simultaneously blow formed in two or more blow forming moulds. This arrangement has the advantage of providing complete independence of the two production cycles. The apparatus includes a conveyor for the mandrels carrying the preforms, this conveyor extending from an injection mould to a blow forming mould.

Abstract: This invention relates to a development inhibitor-releasing compound of the following general formula: ##SPC1##Wherein Z is an atomic grouping necessary to form a carbocyclic ring; Y is a group which, when the sulfur atom of the thioether linkage is released, forms together with said sulfur atom a compound having a development-inhibiting action; and X is a hydroxyl group or a substituted or non-substituted amino group.

Abstract: Alkali or alkaline earth metal salts of the reaction product of certain polyalkylene glycols of the formula ##EQU1## wherein N = 0 TO 100(m+p) = 10 to 500 ##EQU2## WITH A SULTONE. These products are superior and long lasting antistatic agents for use in connection with polyamide synthetic fibers.Polyamides compositions having antistatic properties as well as methods for manufacture of such compositions are also disclosed.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for automatically conveying and stacking sheet material is provided in which the sheet material is first moved to a tiltable table assembly which tilts towards the vertical position to transfer the material from the table to a receiving means, the material being placed and detained on the receiving means in a substantially vertical position.

Abstract: S (IV)-benzo-1,2,4-thiadiazines having the structure ##SPC1##Are disclosed. These compounds and their acid addition salts have been found to have anti-hypertensive and spasmolytic properties.

Abstract: A ski braking device adapted to be preset automatically by fitting the ski boot to the ski. It comprises essentially a pair of braking arms having a common transverse shaft. These arms are normally parallel to the top surface of the ski and their shaft is rigid with a crank arm pivoted to a longitudinally movable member associated with spring means and adapted to transform the movement of rotation of said shaft into a movement of translation of said longitudinally movable member against the resistance of a spring. This arrangement constitutes a knee action mechanism and the device can operate efficiently whether the ski is sliding downhill with the ski tip or the heel end first. Means for locking the device against operation for transport or other purposes are provided.

Abstract: An improved cleaning apparatus for an electrophotographic copying device which comprises (a) a cleaning brush, (b) a casing for said brush having a front end portion which forms a first opening and a rear end portion which forms a second opening adapted to pass a toner therethrough, said brush within said casing and positioned adjacent said first opening so as to be adapted to contact a work surface, (c) a filter bag having a rim which forms an opening adapted to pass toner therethrough and which substantially overlaps said rear end portion, whereby a gap is formed between said rear end portion and said rim, and (d) means for suction of toner-containing air through said filter bag.

Abstract: A compound of the formula: ##SPC1##Wherein R.sup.1 is hydrogen, phenyl, alkyl of one to five carbon atoms, cycloalkyl of three to four carbon atoms, or alkyl of one to five carbon atoms having a substituent selected from the group consisting of phenyl, benzoyl and 4-fluorobenzoyl, R.sup.2 is hydrogen or alkyl of one to three carbon atoms, and R.sup.3 is hydrogen, alkanoyl of two to six carbon atoms, benzoyl or nicotinoyl, is disclosed. Several methods for preparing the compound (I) is also disclosed. The compound (I) and a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof are useful as analgesic agents.

Abstract: A multi-layer photosensitive material for color photography comprising a support and coated thereon, a first color image-forming layer unit composed of a red-sensitive silver halide emulsion, a second color image-forming layer unit composed of a green-sensitive silver halide emulsion and a third color image-forming layer unit composed of a blur-sensitive silver halide emulsion; characterized in that at least one of said color image-forming layer units has a composite layer structure including a lower layer and an upper layer which are positioned in sequence from the support, said upper layer has a higher sensitivity and a lower maximum developed color density than said lower layer, and at least one of said upper layer and lower layer contains a mercaptan type development inhibitor-releasing compound capable of reacting with an oxidation product of a primary aromatic amine to form a substantially colorless compound.
