Abstract: A multifunctional container opener for opening a plurality of different containers, including a body that supports a template defining one or more pockets and a pill splitting tool and one or more compartments or pockets for capturing pieces of the split pill or tablet. The body may also support a variety of tools adapted for opening a container or accessing a container's contents. Such tools include tools for piercing, scoring, cutting or prying portions of the actual container or safety seals associated with the container. The body also supports a gripping device for frictionally engaging the cap or top of a container.

Abstract: A replacement outer sole and method for converting a non-spiked dress or sport shoe to a spiked shoe. The replacement outer sole includes an outer sole that supports a plurality of surface gripping devices in an outer periphery thereof. The replacement outer sole is coupled to the upper portion of a flat-soled shoe, converting the non-spiked shoe to a sports shoe having a surface gripping device such as cleats or spikes generally used for walking, running golfing or other activities.

Abstract: A centrifugal blower wheel having an indivisible prime number of peripherally spaced blades projecting upwardly from the top surface of a generally annular-shaped base plate. Each blade includes a tapered portion extending along an inside edge of the blade to approximately 1/3 to 1/2 the length of the blade. A hub is centrally located on the top surface of the base plate and surrounded by the inside edges of the blades, the hub curving upwardly from the top surface of the base plate to form a smoothly contoured curve.
