Abstract: Disclosed is a Security Indications and Warning (SI&W) Engine usable in conjunction with an audit agent. The audit agent forwards normalized audits to the SI&W Engine. The SI&W Engine groups the normalized audits into related groupings. Gauges are used to count the number of occurrences of audited events. A statistical engine provides statistical representations of the number of events per user, per session and per node. A predetermined number of criteria are defined a particular gauge or gauge pair. There may be many criteria for a particular network. When a predetermined number of criteria within a criteria set are triggered, an indicator is triggered. More complex indicators can use combinations of lower level indicators to provide further indications of potential security threads. Thus, a hierarchical system of gauges, criteria and indicators is used to measure boundary violations and breaches of different barriers.

Use of a polytetrafluoroethylene coating for making impermeable parts of a motor vehicle on the fuel system, in order to limit the emission of hydrocarbons through these parts.
Abstract: A gate assembly for an animal passageway has two barriers that, when in use, are in close proximity to each other in a closed position and can be moved in opposing directions to each other to be in an open position. The operation of the gate assembly to the open position is achieved by an operator using an operator-activated control mechanism. At least one barrier is configured so that when in the open position it does not intrude into the passageway and activation of the control mechanism is external to the passageway. The gate assembly is maintained in the open position until the operator operates the control mechanism to close the grate assembly. When the assembly is in the open position one barrier is in an upper position with respect to the other. The barrier are pivotally attached to a support at separate pivot points.

Abstract: A method and apparatus of utilizing waypoints for a vehicle is provided. A first waypoint relating to a first vehicle position is added to a second waypoint relating to a second vehicle position. The waypoints are saved as a route. Waypoint information relating to the waypoints and route information relating to the route may be manipulated. The method also includes displaying at least a portion of the route on a display screen and indicating a desired direction of vehicle travel from a current vehicle location to one of the waypoints. According to the present invention, the drive may be alerted when the vehicle has come within a particular distance of the waypoint or if the vehicle has veered from the route by a particular distance.

Abstract: A housing having lead frames which are protruded to contact and to resiliently support a piezoelectric transformer and a method of manufacturing the housing is disclosed. The housing has an upper housing part having at least two first lead frames protruded to resiliently contact input and output portions of an upper surface of the piezoelectric transformer, and a lower housing part having at least two second lead frames protruded to resiliently come into contact with the input and output portions of a lower surface of the piezoelectric transformer. Abstract: The in-flight refueling of a squadron of aircraft by a tanker by means of the same refueling hose requires the formation of a queue and the determination of the number of passes, one or possibly two, by each aircraft to the refueling hose, which constitutes a refueling sequence. Although the order in the queue is simple to establish, since it often corresponds to a classification by decreasing quantities of fuel demanded, the same does not apply to the number of passes to the refueling hose, which must be minimized while still respecting the endurances of the aircraft to be refueled before their actual refueling starts. The method described, which may be implemented by a computer, automates the search for a refueling sequence that satisfies the endurance requirements of the various aircraft to be refueled, while still having the minimum number of passes to the refueling hose by the aircraft in the squadron.

Abstract: This invention relates to a method for fabricating a color filter by using the theory of surface tension. The surface tension is very small when hydrophobic material is on hydrophobic surface and the surface tension is very large when hydrophobic material is on hydrophilic surface. It avoids to blurry with the printed hydrophobic color materials and can get fine color filter with excellent color reappearance when the surface of pixel area is a hydrophobic surface and the surface of non-pixel area is a hydrophilic surface. This invention comprises: forming a dielectric layer on substrate; forming a plurality of scan lines and a plurality of data lines on substrate to define a plurality of pixel areas and a non-pixel area; forming a hydrophobic surface on the plurality of pixel areas; forming a hydrophilic surface on the non-pixel area; and using ink-jet printing method to print the hydrophobic color materials on the plurality of areas.

Abstract: A process for making a pants-type diaper without generation of waste material. The pants-type diaper is composed of a body fluid absorbent pad member curved in a U-shape, a front waist member and a rear waist member extending around front and rear waist-halves, respectively. The front and rear waist members are obtained by feeding first and second elastic members in parallel to each other in a machine direction so as to describe substantially sinusoidal curves, respectively, securing these elastic members to one surface of a web fed in the machine direction and then transversely bisecting the web between the first and second elastic members. The first and second elastic members are symmetric to each other about a center line bisecting the web but phase-shifted with respect to each other in the machine direction by half a cycle of the substantially sinusoidal curve.
Abstract: A polyhedron inspection apparatus 10 includes a polyhedron inspection feeder 12 having a passage forming member 22 for inspecting a surface of cubic chip W. The polyhedron inspection feeder 12 is formed with a V-letter groove, and includes two rotating feed sections 25A and 25B arranged on the midway of the passage forming member 22. The rotating feed sections 25A and 25B are individually formed with grooves having V-letter type, U-letter type and V-letter type sectional shapes in succession. The passage forming member 22 is provided with a shooter 18 for moving the chip W one by one in a state of being estranged from each other, and further, is provided with cameras 13A to 13D for inspecting the surface of the chip W, and retrieve element 30 for retrieving the chip W in accordance with the inspection result.
