Abstract: A battery and equipment vest, to be rechargeably used to provide power to video, recording, and like equipment. The battery and equipment vest which also provides numerous storage pockets, may utilize a battery belt or integrally disposed batteries and recharging equipment to provide a mobile, conveniently disposed power source, which may be recharged without removal from the vest. In order to insure a comfortable fit for multiple users, the battery and equipment vest has adjustable shoulder straps and an adjustable waist design which is structured and disposed to orderly maintain electrical interconnection between front portions and rear portions of the vest when worn by any size user. Additionally, fastener hooks and accessory rings are employed for attaching a wide variety of peripheral equipment, supplies, tools, and extra batteries.

Abstract: A multi-purpose fishing tool, to be used to perform numerous, often encountered tasks, while fishing, the tool including primarily a pliers having a pair of arms pivotally attached to one another at corresponding central portions, and a pair of opposing clamp heads, one of the clamp heads including a cutting blade protruding from a top surface thereof. The clamp heads each further include an outer face, an inner face having a gripping surface, and a pair of opposite side faces. A punch seat protrudes from a side face of a bottom one of the clamp heads, and includes a vertical bore extending therethrough disposed such that a punch cone, extending downwardly from a corresponding side face of the upper clamp head, will pass into the vertical bore when the clamp heads are drawn together to a closed, clamping position, thereby causing the eyelet of a fishing hook positioned on an upper supporting surface of the punch seat to be enlarged.

Abstract: A leakage prevention system, to be used in combination with a liquid storage and transportation tank, which is comprised primarily of a puncture proof bladder disposed along the inner surface of a tank and constructed so as to be flexible and liquid impervious. The puncture proof bladder is securely fastened to the upper surface of the tank and is connected at a flanged aperture to a means for containing and redistributing overflow that may result from impact to the puncture proof bladder.

Abstract: A mattress liner to substantially cover a mattress surface, the mattress liner including a mattress pad having a top surface and a bottom surface, and a plurality of substantially thin magnets releasably disposed in pockets substantially spaced apart relation from one another along the bottom surface of the mattress pad and secured thereto.

Abstract: A cooking apparatus adapted to burn liquid fuel including a container defining an outer housing and having a base, a surrounding side walls structure, and top, the top having an opening therethrough in exposing relation to an interior chamber of the container wherein a fiberglass material is disposed in substantially filling relation and is structured to hold and regulate the movement of liquid fuel therein so as to prevent spillage of the liquid fuel from within the container, the liquid fuel being delivered to an upper exposed surface of the fiberglass material adjacent to the opening of the top by a braided fiberglass ignitor cord, which further facilitates igniting and provides for the continuous burning of the fuel at the upper exposed surface, and the fiberglass material being contained within the interior chamber by a retainer screen disposed in covering relation over the opening in the top of the container.

Abstract: A clamp for a battery cable, to be easily secured and removed from a battery terminal stud, the clamp including a main clamp body having a vertical bore extending therethrough which is adapted to receive the battery terminal stud therein, the clamp body further including a vertical channel extending from the vertical bore to a distal face of the clamp such that when confronting faces of the vertical channel are pushed towards one another, the vertical bore is tightened about the terminal stud so as to secure the clamp thereto.

Abstract: A platform bed assembly, to be used by a child as a sleeping area and a play area, the bed assembly includes a lower base structure structured and disposed to resemble a large scale version of a toy article such as a van or house. The platform bed assembly includes a mattress support platform positioned and secured atop the base structure whereon a mattress may be placed in overlying position, thereby defining a sunken sleeping area, includes a ladder secured to the base structure so as to allow faciliated access to the sleeping area, and includes a door in a side wall of the base structure to allow access to an interior compartment defining the play area. Additionally, there are a plurality of toy accessory components positioned within the interior compartment which correspond the design of the toy article, and add realism to the play environment.

Abstract: A collapsible insect netting, to be used in combination with a baby stroller, the netting being sized and configured to be securely fitted about the stroller, thereby protecting the child within. The collapsible netting assembly includes a collapsible arched enclosure having a top and side panels formed of an open weave fabric, a surrounding skirt adapted to be fitted about the stroller and secure the assembly thereto, a collapsible frame to define the arched enclosure, and a sealable opening to allow quick and easy access to the child within the netting.

Abstract: A sun shield assembly, to be used as an interior cover of a vehicle window such that the interior of the vehicle is protected from direct sunlight, the sun shield including a flexible, opaque material panel, sized and configured to substantially cover the interior surface of the window, a plurality of adjustably positioned suction cups positioned at a plurality of locations about the periphery of the panel so as to enable the panel to securely engage the interior surface of windows of a variety of sizes and configurations, and a plurality of slits cut into the panel, structured and disposed to allow the rear view mirror of the vehicle to pass therethrough.

Abstract: A medical syringe has a plunger bore (1 and 2) that is flexible. A hermetically-sealed glass ampule (3) containing a drug in the form of a liquid referred to generally as a sterile preparation (4) is placed in the plunger bore (1 and 2). When the plunger (1) is pulled outwardly a select distance to expose the flexible plunger bore (2), the glass ampule (3) is broken by hand-squeezing the plunger bore (2) against it. Liquid preparation (4) from the glass ampule (3) is directed through a check-valved orifice (16) at a tip of a resilient piston section (21) of the plunger (1). At the check-valved orifice (16), the preparation (4) enters into a syringe bore (6). There the preparation (4) can be injected through a conventional luer (38-40) and hypodermic needle (37) by the standard practice of depressing the plunger (1) into the syringe (7). Variations are provided for storing ampules of preparation either in or separately from the syringe. Embodiments are described for various adaptations.

Abstract: An interlocking building block, to be used in constructing walls and building frames, the building blocks being adapted to be securely engaged without the need to use extra layers of cement. The interlocking building blocks include a series of ridges and channels disposed along the top and bottom surface of the block and at opposite distal ends, which are structured and disposed to be correspondingly fitted with the ridges and channels of adjoining blocks, thereby forming a secure interlocking structure.

Abstract: A device to be used in combination with a golf club to couple forces acting thereon when swinging, the device being structured and disposed to be attached to the shaft of the golf club so as to balance the golf club during a swing. The device includes a clamp portion for removably attaching the apparatus to the golf club, a weight portion, whose positioning about the golf club shaft will act as an auxiliary couple to balance the club face, a protruding screw extending from the clamp portion about which the cylindrical weight is positioned, and an O-ring secured about the screw such that the weight is kept from moving during the golf swing.

Abstract: A method of treating psoriasis which includes subcutaneously injecting into the tissue of a person a dose of cc of a mixture composed of 0.1 milligrams histamine phosphate, 9.25 milligrams bacteriologic peptadase, 110.00 milligrams diprophylline, 4.0 milligrams chlorophenamine, about 0.1 milligram methyl paraben and propylparaben, about 0.2 milligrams sodium chloride, water and then observing the site for between one and three days to observe when the tissue surface at the site is no longer inflamed and is normal and, then, successively injecting 1 cc again and again with a similar observation interval for a period of about two weeks to develop a tolerance to the mixture; and thereafter, repeating the process of injecting every twenty-four hours to seventy-two hours with a 2 cc injection until the symptoms of the psoriasis condition disappear.

Abstract: A multi-purpose environmental work vessel, to be used in a variety of waterways, canals, and other coastal areas to perform a variety of necessary tasks including skimming oil or debris from the surface of the water, dredging for debris beneath the water's surface, and assisting in firefighting. The vessel includes a catamaran-type hull having a pivotally positioned trash scoop at a forward end of the hull to scoop debris and unload into an adjacently positioned active trash container, a removably positioned dredging system, a fire monitor, a spinning drum-type oil skimmer, an inboard crane, and a pair of outboard motors to propel the vessel and allow it to run at high speeds at a substantially shallow draft.

Abstract: A partially movable divider assembly primarily designed for mounting to an overhead structure, such as a passenger service unit rail or ceiling, in the cabin interior of an aircraft, to provide a privacy barrier between two seating sections of different classes. An upper stationary panel is fixedly mounted to the overhead structure and a lower movablle panel is hingedly attached along a bottom edge of the upper panel to permit swinging movement of the lower panel relative to the upper panel in response to a force applied to the lower panel. A biasing element and dampening structure urge the lower panel into a normal vertical position in coplanar relation to the upper panel, while reducing excessive swinging movement thereof.
