Abstract: Process for the production of an improved form of Form 1 Ranitidine Hydrochloride having improved filtration and drying characteristics, said process comprising in a substantially anhydrous hydroxylic solvent, comprising at least one alkanol solvent having 3-4 carbon atoms, adding anhydrous hydrogen chloride gas to Ranitidine free base wherein said substantially anhydrous hydroxylic solvent has the characteristics that it solubilizes the Ranitidine free base and hydrogen chloride gas, and subsequently recovering the improved form of Form 1 Ranitidine Hydrochloride.
Abstract: A loading dock bumper comprising:(a) a first shell made of a substantially non-elastic material(b) a second shell made of a substantially non-elastic material, said first and said second shells being resiliently attached to each other, forming a housing, and(c) a predetermined effective amount of a particulate resilient material contained within said housing formed by said first and said second shell in a substantially compressed mode.
Abstract: A closure assembly is provided assembled from framing sections being fiberglass pultrusions having thin walls, sufficiently thin so as to require reinforcing of the pultrusion proximate the ends and at predetermined positions to allow for (i)joining adjacent pultrusions together and (ii) assembling hardware to the pultrusion, (iii) mounting the pultrusions when assembled in an opening.
Abstract: A method of treating a mammal for a condition of the skin or exposed tissue selected from the group consisting of basal cell carcinoma and actinic keratosis is provided. The method consists essentially of topically administering to the site of the condition, more than once per day over a period of days sufficient to treat the condition, a non-toxic effective dosage amount of a composition consisting essentially of(a) a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) in an amount sufficient to block prostaglandin synthesis,(b) hyaluronic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in an amount effective to transport said NSAID into the skin or exposed tissue at the site of the condition. The concentration of the hyaluronic add or salt thereof is between 1-3% by weight of the composition. The molecular weight of the hyaluronic acid or salt thereof is between 150,000 and 750,000 Daltons. A pharmaceutical excipient suitable for topical application is included.

Abstract: A self heating container for heating a comestible item; said container being substantially recyclable, said container comprising a first chamber having one frangible wall, a second chamber, said first and second chambers being matingly attached to each other adjacent the frangible wall, said first chamber having a predetermined amount of water contained therein and said second chamber having a predetermined amount of substantially anhydrous calcium chloride contained therein; a cutting device proximate said frangible wall; to cut said frangible wall to allow contacting of the water with the substantially anhydrous calcium chloride resulting in an exothermic reaction;said second chamber further comprising at least one comestible receptacle receiving area;said first chamber and said second chamber being totally sealed from contact with said comestible receptacle, whereupon after use of said self heating container, said first and second chambers and said comestible receptacle are detachable and available for rec
Abstract: An inflatable enclosure for amusement purposes and/or promoting physical activity comprising: inflatable means being formed of a plurality of interconnected panels of an inflatable material, taking the form of a chamber, when inflated, said chamber having, an interior, exterior, side walls, front wall, back wall , a floor and a ceiling whereon at least one panel thereof, there is a window of transparent material, blower means for supplying air at a predetermined rate and pressure to said inflatable means, blower aperture means disposed on one of said interconnected panels forming one of said side wall, to allow said blower means to be in contact with said inflatable means, at least one vent means located on each of said panels forming the side walls and the front walls, to provide venting of said air in said chamber of predetermined rate not causing substantial underinflation and/or overinflation, at least one amusement floating means disposed in the interior of said chamber, air actuated entrance/exit area s
Abstract: A method is described for making handleable card having images on front and back surface of the card. The process includes the creation of templates which incorporate a combination of design elements and repetitive textual information stored as computer files. These templates are combined with textual information specific to each card, as well as digital representations of scanned photographs; also stored as computer files. The resulting composite images are printed onto a single sheet material having front and back surface covered with plastic laminate film which has been treated with an adhesive layer on its inside surface. The covered sheet material is passed through laminator for fusing the front and back sheet material to the plastic laminate film and cut into separate card.
Abstract: A method for detecting the condition of the individual cells of a bank of serially connected battery cells is provided. The method utilizes a single common sensing wire connected through respective non-linear component switching mechanisms to respective reference terminals. The reference terminals are located between adjacent batteries and at the end of the battery assembly. The method includes the step of detecting an instantaneous change of impedance at points of transition of the state of the individual switches provided.
