    Abstract: The invention provides a process for separating fluorinated organic compounds from mixtures of the such compounds and hydrogen fluoride. More particularly, the invention provides a method for separating a fluorinated organic compound from a mixture containing at least one fluorinated organic compound and hydrogen fluoride by adding an inorganic salt to the mixture.
