  • Patent number: 7257931
Abstract: A device for patching wall holes caused by a doorknob or other item impact, which device is assembled in situ between the injured wall member and an adjacent rear wall member. A master plate having a circular opening with four ninety-degree apart radiating outward slots, is adhered to the interior face of the injured wall over the opening. Two inter-engageable body sections each having a tongue are centrally inter-engaged at right angles and retained by placement of a disk designated the central section having a central internal cross-shaped cutout over the engaged tongues. The disk bearing engaged body sections are recessed into the master plate up to the tongues, rotated and locked into position between the wall members. Spackle or plaster is applied, allowed to dry, and then painted/papered to yield a non-discernable repair is applied, allowed to dry and then painted or papered over to yield a non-discernible repair.

  • Patent number: 7172521
Abstract: A device for teaching the basic kicks of soccer to students of the game. The device has a mat portion with a ball support thereon, to raise the ball to the elevated position it would be in when laying on grass. The mat includes an alignment arrow to direct the approach of the kicker, a circumscribed open area for the non-kicking foot to be prior to ball impact with a specifically notated ball, that rests on the support. The ball is color coded with sweet spots where impact is to take place for a specific kick. The ball also includes similarly color coded arrow lines, which serve to guide the placement of the ball onto the support to align the ball correctly relative to the kicker's shoe for the shot being taught. Teaching information is also found on the mat portion as a mental reinforcement to a lesson.

  • Patent number: 7152550
Abstract: An apparatus for automatically supplying both food and water to an animal according to a predefined schedule input into a timer wherein food is introduced into a food ring mounted on a rotatable carousel from a feed hopper and the rotation of the carousel being controlled by the timer. Water is introduced also at timed intervals through spray nozzles for several purposes, namely, to premoisten pelletized food prior to it being eaten and to clean the food ring subsequent to food consumption or removal of any leftover food, which food removal takes place by gravity. Water is also introduced into a drinking bowl for the pet to consume. Periodically, according to the input schedule, the water is automatically drained and subsequently the bowl is refilled.

  • Patent number: 7131600
Abstract: An atomization chamber apparatus used for aircraft pesticide delivery, which has an open ended walled chamber, divided into left and right sections, each having outer and inner segments, each segment having a top and a bottom wall, the outer segments having a same radius concave upper wall and a convex lower wall, while the inner segments have a same radius convex radius upper wall and a concave lower wall. A nozzle injector connectable to a fluid pesticide source is laterally disposed in an inner segment. The nozzle is chosen such that exiting pesticide will not impact the chamber walls, and the radii of the segments are chosen such that the speed of pesticide atomization by the incoming air is slowed down to reduce fines upon pesticide impact, and the speed of the pesticide air mixture on exiting the chamber is increased to substantially match the airspeed of the aircraft.

  • Patent number: 6893468
Abstract: A device to couple a prosthesis to a human leg stump above-the-knee in a first embodiment, and below the knee in the second embodiment. The device has an upper and a lower plate, the connecting mechanism being disposed in the lower plate. The upper plate is round and the same in both embodiments, but for above-the-knee junctions, the lower plate is elliptical while for below-the-knee junctions, the lower plate is round and of the same diameter as the upper plate. The operative connection is achieved by use of a guillotine, whose horizontally disposed blade engages one of a plurality of grooves on a locking stud. The movement of the spring-loaded guillotine is controlled by a retractable release pin to permit the guillotine to engage in or disengage the groove to which is disposed.
