Abstract: A device for thrusting a car door open by a driver which device mounts either directly to a vehicle door panel, or if the vehicle door has an inwardly projecting storage pocket, the device mounts on the pocket. The device includes a main body which receives a pad adapted to be impacted by a driver's foot. The main body is attached to the vehicle door by at least two spaced upper hooks on the rear face which hooks engage a respective aperture in the door panel or pocket, and by at least two rotatable tab pegs. The main body includes a forward facing perimeter edge to define a frame for the impact pad which is removably attached therein. The impact pad is disposed within the frame perimeter after the main body is attached to the pocket or the door panel by adhesive or by hook and loop closure members.
Abstract: A water solution of a mixture of quinine and camphor in preferably a ratio of 2 parts quinine to 1 part camphor is injected into hemorrhoidal tissue to effectuate a cure of the hemorrhoid. After a period of time, dependent upon the age and other aspects of the physical condition of the patient, the hemorrhoid will turn black, shrivel and flake off to yield a clean non-hemorrhoid area surrounding the anus.
Abstract: A fence post system that permits the attachment of conventional fencing sections is recited. The pole of this post system is preferably a square tube having a trio of vertically spaced bore sets, each bore within the set having a threaded connector disposed therein. A notched insert sized to fit inside the pole and having an elevation of no greater than about 18 inches is set into a hole, the pole disposed over it, the proper elevation determined, followed by attachment of the tube to the insert, with the tube elevated from the bottom of the excavation. The tube is retained vertically, concrete poured into the excavation and permitted to harden around the insert and the elevated tube. Slab side members are bolted to the connectors on at least two of the sides of the pole such that a fencing section can be attached conventionally to each slab side member.
Abstract: Left and right hand exercisers are formed based upon a modification of the handgrips disclosed and claimed in U.S. Pat. No. 5,979,015, wherein a throughbore is made through the grip, generally vertically through the elongation of the grip, at an angle between 82 and 88 degrees. A flattened tube of nylon webbing, or equal, is disposed through the throughbore, and is either connected to itself to form an endless loop spaced from the body of the grip in one embodiment. In another embodiment, the webbing passing through the bottom end of the grip is retained in place by one of several means. The end of the webbing emanating from the top of the grip may be attached directly to an elastic tube or band, or to a swivel split ring. If the latter, cables or other devices can be appended to the split ring as is known to the art.
Abstract: A system for accessing small items that are stored in a secure manner for controlled access thereto by access mode or access code, which system is based upon a series of modules having a plurality of storage cartridges therein, which modules are disposed in a box and a plurality of boxes are housed in a cabinet. The cabinet and specific cartridge are accessed by an access mode such as a coin, bill, credit card, access code as by keypad or computer generated among others. A signal is sent to a solenoid which impacts a latch which moves downwardly and releases from engagement with the cartridge. A latch spring returns the latch to its original position. An ejection spring kicks the cartridge forward for the user to gain access to the contents thereof. Reinsertion of the cartridge reverses the procedure to re-engage the latch with the cartridge's down hanging metal strip.
Abstract: A fuel conditioning device designed for interposition between an engine's fuel supply line and the engine's fuel combustion zone, which device has a cylindrical body portion, with an input end and an output end, and a flow through passageway in the body portion. The input end is in fluid communication with the fuel supply line, and the output end is in fluid communication with the fuel combustion portion of the engine. Disposed within the body portion is a series of only plastic disks at each end that move the incoming and outgoing fuel in a quasi-sinusoidal pattern, and such movement of fuel is also carried out through a series of cells formed of a pair of plastic spaced and opposed disks with a copper-based disk in intimate contact with a zinc-based disk between each such pair of opposed spaced disks, between the series of only plastic disks.
Abstract: An openable and closeable umbrella having the appearance of a thatched South Sea Island or Caribbean umbrella, and the ability to shield the users of the umbrella from the sun. The umbrella features a circular one piece woven thatch overlaid upon a fabric umbrella canopy, which canopy is conventionally attached to the frame of the umbrella. The frame includes a series of spaced ribs attached to struts and a means to open and close the frame. The woven thatch is screwed or otherwise secured to the ribs of the frame through the canopy layer. Means are provided for raising and lowering the umbrella.
Abstract: A self-contained cut Christmas tree, or water flow deprived other tree, watering apparatus having a water storage portion and a tree surround portion fluidly connected. The tree surround houses a plurality of water injectors, which are screwed into the tree trunk once the tree surround is fixed in a tree encircling position. Water flows from the storage portion, which is disposed at a higher elevation to the tree surround disposed at a lower elevation through the injectors directly into the interior of the tree.
Abstract: A device to aid vehicle occupants to open a door wider than would be possible by merely opening it with one arm extended. The device comprises a main body having a backer in which is disposed a moveable insert for extending the length of the main body. The main body may be attached by a rear surface mounted Velcro® layer for engagement with a second Velcro® layer on the interior panel of the door of the vehicle. A pair of spaced brackets mounted to the main body are used to mount the main body within a pocket attached to the door. An impact receiver is optionally removably adhesed to the main body, and is adapted to receive the impact of the driver's foot. The impact receiver is removable for easy cleaning should it become soiled.
Abstract: A battery charging system that utilizes pedal power from a stationary cyclist, to rotate a hub which is connected by belt or chain to a dynamo. The dynamo has a hub which receives the chain or belt to permit rotation of the movable wheel thereof relative to a fixed wheel, both of which wheels house a series of magnets around their facing peripheries. Preferably a coaster clutch is found in the intermediate hub to permit the cyclist to rest periodically while the rotatable wheel of the dynamo continues to rotate thereby creating a DC current, suitable for the charging of a battery(is) electrically connected thereto. The front wheel is held off the ground by a pair of cradles to permit rotation during pedaling, while the intermediate derailleur is held in a stabilizer for better balance.
Abstract: A close contact drape to be placed upon the front of the body from neck to above the knees to cover the body. The drape is secured behind the neck by interconnecting flaps using a closure. The drape is made of flexible cloth and has three laterally spaced pockets located at what is the chest area of the average female wearer. In each pocket there is disposed a flexible sheet plastic panel. Tactile sensation of a touching of the soft tissue of the human breast by a service provider is inhibited or prevented by the presence of the plastic panels overlying the chest area of the wearer of the drape.
