Support (12) is moved by a catapult which comprises a propelling device (133) made of a pneumatic microactuator with a simple spring-back effect.Application to human mesotherapy, for example, FIG. 3.
Abstract: A device for insuring that the striking surface of a sports implement is properly oriented prior to the initiation and completion of a contact swing. Two position orientation sensors are affixed to the shaft of the sports implement. One sensor senses the roll position of the striking surface, and the second sensor senses the pitch position of the striking surface. When both of these sensors indicate that the striking surface is properly oriented, an audible signal is generated. This signal is maintained for as long as the striking surface is properly oriented.

Abstract: There is provided management of a photoresist resin containing waste solution discharged from printed circuit boards manufacturing process, printing industries, a semiconductor manufacturing industry and the other industries using photoresist materials. The photoresist resin containing waste solution is subjected to an ultrafiltration of the specified characteristics so as to separate definitely organic waste materials having relatively higher molecular weight which should be disposed from an effective and useful components contained in a permeate to be recycled or recovered resulting very efficient processing.
Abstract: A light weight, fitted prosthetic garment comprising in combination a generally cylindrical body-encircling member on each side of the top front of the body-encircling member is a rounded flap corresponding to the two breast positions of the wearer; on the inside of each rounded flap is a pocket member for holding artificial breast members; attached at the top of each rounded flap is a shoulder strap each looped back and each attached at the rear of the body-encircling member, said shoulder straps being spaced at the rear at approximately the same distance apart as at the front of the garment.
Abstract: The apparatus for creating and checking correlation between negatives and prints in photographic laboratories comprises:means (3) for making each film (5,5',5") with a progressive number (4) written in machine-readable code,a reader (19) for said number (4) in the printing station,a processing circuit (8) for the read signal in order to provide a control key having a sequence related to said progressive numbering (4),a member (10) which forms the end-of-order marks (13) on the strip of prints (11),a member (9) which on the strip of prints (11) forms the cutting marks (12) and modifies those in positions corresponding with the end-of-order marks (13) in accordance with the sequence generated by said processing circuit (8),in the finishing station (1), a reader (19) for the number (4) which characterises each film (5,5',5"),in the finishing station (16), a reader (20) for the cutting marks (12) in positions corresponding with the end-of-order marks (13),a circuit (22,27) which during the cutting stage checks th
Abstract: A child resistant dispensing closure of the type comprising a cap member and a spout member. The cap member is provided with an exterior skirt, a top surface having an elongated groove formed therein, and an interior skirt. The interior skirt is provided with a cap locking bead adapted to engage a container locking bead provided on the neck of a container for rotatably mounting the cap member on the neck of the container. The elongated groove has a dispensing opening and an open area formed therein, and the interior skirt is provided with an interruption at the location of the open area so as to maintain the area unobstructed. The container locking bead is also provided with an interruption. The spout member includes an elongated body having a longitudinal dispensing passage therein and adapted to be mounted at one end in the elongated groove for rotation with respect to the cap member. The spout member is provided with a depending locking prong adapted for insertion into the open area.
Abstract: A method of controlling the aging or maturing of edible material such as meats, fish, dairy products, cereals, etc. by keeping the edible material in the presence of a freezing point depressing agent and an extract from the edible material at a temperature ranging from 0.degree. C. to the freezing point of the material whereby the resultant flavor and/or taste of the edible material is improved.
Abstract: A detonator net weapon for use primarily in anti-submarine warfare. The weapon comprises spaced, interwoven alternating lengths of nylon rope and detonator cord, and the detonator cord is ignited by conventional battery-powered target contact detectors. Floats at the top of the net control the buoyancy of the net and thus regulate its rate of descent through the water. The net weapon is stored in a compact container, and may be deployed from an airplane or from a ship into the path of a submarine, hydrofoil, torpedo, missile, or the like. The detonator cord, upon ignition, will explode with sufficient force to damage any object in contact thereof. The detonator net weapon is versatile and may be used against special types of surface ships, torpedoes, etc., and may, with minor revisions, be used in land warfare against tanks and infantry. In addition, the net weapon may be configured for use against anti-armor and/or sea-skimmer missiles.
Abstract: A solar-powered beacon comprises a water-tight caisson housing a battery for storing electricity produced by solar cells atop the beacon. An electronic circuit within the caisson controls operation of the beacon. The caisson material acts as a heat sink for the solar cells, and insulation is provided below the cells to further protect the electronic components.
Abstract: A combination slicing and storing device for food products in block form wherein the food product is caused to descend by gravity within a tubular member mounted on a base such that a portion of the food product projects through an opening in the base and is supported on a recessed food support provided on a slice holder plate. The slice holder plate is operatively associated with a trigger member mounted on the base, being adapted for sliding movement with respect to the base upon manual actuation of the trigger member by a user of the device. Actuation of the trigger member causes a cutting member on the slice holder plate to be drawn through the projecting portion of food so as to create a slice of food product of uniform thickness. The slice is allowed to fall away from the device and onto a serving dish or plate by virtue of the fact that the food support has moved out of position beneath the food product.
Abstract: A child resistant dispensing closure of the type having a cap and a spout mounted thereon for rotation about a substantially horizontal axis. The upper surface of the cap is provided with a pattern of ribs. The upper surface of the spout is provided with a plurality of ribs, each of which has a distinct energy plane. All but one of the energy planes fails to allow sufficient purchase on their respective ribs and fails to produce the proper force vector required in order to initiate rotation of the spout when a manual force is applied to the latter energy planes. Only one of the energy planes is adapted so as to allow sufficient purchase and to produce the proper force vector required in order to initiate rotation of the spout when a manual force is applied to said one plane.
