  • Patent number: 5788148
Abstract: In a vehicle heating appliance, an overhead state is detected by an overheating temperature sensor by means of a microprocessor. The overheating temperature sensor supplies a signal (UTF) to the microprocessor, and when the signal (UTF) exceeds a threshold value, the microprocessor blocks the transmission of driving signals to a driving transistor (Tr) for the fuel dosing pump. A circuit connected in parallel to the microprocessor with a threshold value switch acts as a redundant switching-off device. The output signal of the threshold value switch is applied to an AND-gate whose output is connected to the base of the driving transistor (Tr) and whose other input receives the driving signals from the microprocessor. When the signal UFT exceeds the threshold value of the threshold switch, the AND-gate blocks all signal transmission from the microprocessor to the driving transistor, so that the fuel dosing pump is stopped.

  • Patent number: 5773759
Abstract: The new-type conduit fitting has at least a first, a second and a third part, through each part passes a hole which allows the parts to be pushed axially over the cable. The first part can be connected to a housing in an electrically conductive manner and can be axially tensioned with the third part. The second part is electrically conductive, and it reduces the cross section of its hole with increasing axial tensioning between the first and third parts. The hole of the first part expands conically against the second part, wherein the second part is a annular sleeve with a sheathing surface conically tapering against the first part and with a cylindrical inner surface, and the development of the annular sleeve has a shape meandering in a zigzag pattern. A fourth part formed as a rubber sleeve is positioned around the cable, and a fifth part formed as a union nut compresses the rubber sleeve between the union nut and the third part.

  • Patent number: 5758906
Abstract: The socket has an essentially cylindrical outer layer of glass fiber-reinforced plastic and a sealing sleeve arranged in a recess in the outer layer. This sealing sleeve has, between the two socket ends, a rib serving as a stop for the ends of the two pipes to be connected to one another. Here, the outer layer forms a first and a second hollow cylindrical, dimensionally stable edge section, the first of which is substantially longer than the second. That end of such a socket which is formed by the longer edge section can be pushed relatively easily onto a first pipe and can also be nondetachably bonded thereto by means of an adhesive. The second pipe having the same diameter can then be inserted into the socket end formed by the shorter edge section. Here, the relatively short edge section makes it possible to insert the second pipe into the socket with a tight seal even when the axes of socket and pipe do not coincide but make a small angle with one another.

  • Patent number: 5749787
Abstract: A floor covering, in particular for sport fields, based on elastic plastics, has a substantially flat top side on which one can walk and a bottom side spaced apart therefrom. The covering has an anisotropic elasticity in the desired running direction, so that it dampens more strongly the impact of a shoe of a runner running on the top side in the desired direction than the impact of the shoe of a runner running on the top side in the opposite direction.

  • Patent number: 5724918
Abstract: A machine for the washing and drying of animals, which has a large housing with a principal washing compartment or cabin, which can be divided into two or more sections for washing respective animals at the same time completely untied. A second compartment has a heated air ventilator for the cabin. This air is recirculated again to the air ventilator through a double ceiling of the cabin. A third compartment, accommodates a hose with a nozzle for spraying water from the water supply to wash the paws of the animal before it enters the cabin. A fourth compartment accommodates various bottles of respective treatment liquids, such as cleaning, softening, antiseptic and the like liquids with devices for selecting same, such as pumps with pulsating function, with there being provided a hydraulic circuit for the water and treatment liquids. The hydraulic circuit has a first tank only for the fresh water, with da fluid heater for heating same, and a second tank for the water and liquids to be recirculated.

  • Patent number: 5713086
Abstract: A flushing device has a first pushbutton for triggering a flushing with essentially the total amount of water present in the flushing tank and a second pushbutton for triggering a flushing with part of this amount of water. Both pushbuttons are connected to a valve pipe, which is to be raised during flushing and is mounted in a float housing. A beaker-shaped hollow body, which is raised as an additional weight with the closing element in the case of a partial flushing, is arranged in the flushing tank. The hollow body is raised with the closing element during a complete flushing and during a partial flushing alike. In the case of a complete flushing, the hollow body is opened by an opening such that water contained in the said hollow body flows out at least partially when the closing element with the hollow body is raised.

  • Patent number: 5704771
Abstract: A vibrating compressor having a housing with an inner tube and an outer tube formed concentrically. The inner tube is connected with the outer tube via an end plate. The end plate being disposed at one axial end of the inner tube and the outer tube to form a housing closed end and a housing open end. A permanent magnet is fitted to an inner circumferential surface of the outer tube. A driving coil is provided in a gap between the permanent magnet and the inner tube. A cylinder is fitted into an inside of the inner tube and a hollow piston equipped with a valve is inserted into the cylinder. The hollow piston is connected to the driving coil via a bobbin and is supported by support springs in such a manner as to perform reciprocating motion. A cylinder head connected to the housing forms a compression chamber at an end of the cylinder and compressed fluid is discharged from the compression chamber by the reciprocating motion of the piston.

  • Patent number: 5702596
Abstract: A water collection trough has an edge arranged in the plane of a roof and a bottom, arranged with spacing from the edge, with an opening. The opening leads to a drainage pipe mounted down at the bottom of the trough. Two parallel plates are arranged spaced apart, a lower plate being fixed in the water collection trough and an upper plate being fixed above the edge of the water collection trough. The edge of the upper plate projects beyond the edge of the water collection trough in such a way that, to form a closed flow in the drainage pipe. The water to be led away is accelerated ahead of the edge of the water collection trough and, after a two-fold deflection of about 90.degree. in each case, ahead of the opening in the bottom.

  • Patent number: 5669301
Abstract: A printing block is inked with a container containing printing ink, and printing formats or partial images are transferred to workpieces with a tampon. An edge of the container, which edge lies on the printing block, is rotated on the printing block around a vertical axis during a relative movement between the container and the printing block. As a result, the printing block can be used longer, and a clean print is guaranteed for a longer time in the case of abrasive printing inks.
