  • Patent number: 7428251
Abstract: An intermediate station transmits a supervisory signal sent form a given controlled device to a controlled device associate with the given device as a control signal. An intermediate-station input unit extracts a supervisory signal, which is a current signal superimposed on a signal transmitted through a data signal line, in every clock cycle. An intermediate-station output unit obtains the supervisory signal in every clock cycle, and outputs a control signal, which is a pulse-width-modulated voltage signal, onto the data signal line in the same clock cycle in which the supervisory signal has been extracted.

  • Patent number: 7427817
Abstract: A small-sized motor having a polygonal outer shape includes four or more field magnets attached to the inner surface of a motor casing made of metal. A tubular portion of the motor casing is formed into a polygonal tubular shape such that flat side portions equal in number to field poles, and flat or curved corner portions equal in number to the field poles and each being located between the adjacent side portions are sequentially joined together. The field magnets have a smaller thickness at portions corresponding to the side portions of the motor casing and a larger thickness at portions corresponding to the corner portions of the motor casing. The field magnets are fixed while coinciding in center position with the corresponding corner portions of the motor casing and while being pressed against the corresponding corner portions of the motor casing from inside.

  • Patent number: 7422240
Abstract: A deformation device, especially for the steering column of a motor vehicle. The deformation device comprises a deformation tube (2), which can be deformed in a defined manner, as well as a deforming cone (1) associated with the deformation tube (2). The deformation device has at the deforming cone (1) at least one elevation (13, 28) or recess, whose edges (8) engage edges (9) of at least one impression (23, 25) or recess (10), whose shape corresponds to the elevation of the cone or the recess of the cone at the cone-side end of the deformation tube (2), in a positive (material blocking) manner, as a result of which essentially any desired high torque can be transmitted between the deformation tube (2) and the deforming cone (1) without any change in the good behavior in a collision.

  • Patent number: 7421314
Abstract: A method for controlling a robot during an interpolation of a trajectory or motion to any prescribed position, comprises the steps of a) ignoring at least one of the three originally prescribed or interpolated tool center point orientation values; b) finding new tool center point orientation values that place the wrist center point of the robot closest to its base while c) maintaining the originally prescribed or interpolated tool center point location values and d) maintaining the original prescribed or interpolated tool center point orientation values not ignored. Said method can preferably be used for carrying a load with a plurality of robots. Its main advantage is an increase of the available working volume.

  • Patent number: 7418859
Abstract: A device for measuring a volume flow, especially a tidal volume flow sensor, with a flow channel (1) and with a sensor element (6) arranged within the flow channel (1), is shown and described. The task of providing such a device, in which the sensor signal, which is generated by sensor elements arranged in the flow channel, remains as free as possible from distortions during the transmission to an evaluating unit, is accomplished by providing an internal circuit (3), which is arranged within the flow channel (1) and includes the sensor element (6). An external circuit (7) is arranged outside the flow channel (1). The external circuit (7) is designed for contactless, inductive coupling with the internal circuit (3) for supplying same with energy and for reading.
