  • Patent number: 7472647
Abstract: Egg separators having an upper elongated slit to prevent the yolk of an egg from entering a collection device for egg whites. The device provides for a method that will allow multiple separations of egg whites from egg yolks upon cracking individual eggs. The presence of an upper elongated slit in the concave compartments of the device allows the egg white of the eggs to separate from the egg yolks without the egg yolk entering a collection device and/or mixing, merging or flowing into the collected egg whites.

  • Patent number: 7469927
Abstract: An interchangeable automobile louver set that is adapted to be detachably mounted on a rear, downwardly, rearwardly inclined automobile window glass and includes a plurality of louvers independently horizontally mounted to a plurality of independent, vertically disposed stanchions. Each louver includes longitudinally spaced apart ends spanned by a pair of vertically spaced sides and a front edge which has a profile that conforms to the profile of the confronting portion of the window glass regardless of which vertically spaced side is uppermost. Each louver is attached by fasteners and each stanchion has the capability to be reversible without modification to the louvers or stanchions. For example, the first side of all of the louvers could match the color of the vehicle and the second side could be a standard color (i.e. black). The louvers are readily detachable and reversible to change the appearance of the automobile.

  • Patent number: 7434370
Abstract: Capping head assemblies that are useful for applying pre-threaded closures onto containers with improved sensitivity. The novel features of the devices are a simple and novel means of adjusting the torque in a magnetic clutch assembly. In addition, the advantage of preventing contamination by water and other liquids during the filling and capping of liquid containers, and further, have the capability of being greased without having to disassemble the device. In addition, these can be accomplished without changing the capability of being able to read the adjustment scales on the outside surface of the magnetic clutch assembly and the adjustment scales on the outside surface of the upper spring assembly for adjusting the tension in the spring.

  • Patent number: 7432239
Abstract: A process for forming a conjugate of a polyoxyalkylene polymer, such as polyethylene glycol, with a compound containing an amine group(s) and/or a sulfide group(s) by reacting the compound with an acrylate terminated polyoxyalkylene, such as polyethylene glycol terminated at one end with acrylate or methacrylate and terminated at the other end with a methoxy group. The reaction is believed to be a Michael addition. When the compound contains primary amine groups, such as the surface primary amine groups of a PAMAM dendrimer, it is usually desirable to convert the primary amine groups to secondary amine groups before the reaction with the acrylate terminated polyoxyalkylene.

  • Patent number: 7367153
Abstract: The planar board disclosed features a convexo-concave board characteristic that allows the boards to channel the water creating a water rail for smoother more controlled performance. The planar board also features one removable cross member end that allows for collapsibility quickly and conveniently with out the aid of tools. The collapsibility allows for easy storage. Each board member also features openings therethrough the side of each board which are pressure increasing holes pulling the board in a more defined manor. The distal end of each running board member has a groove that acts as a vacuum release allowing the board to run smoother freeing the board from drag resistance for better performance. Disclosed is a planar board that incorporates collapsibility with convexo-concave characteristic, a vacuum release characteristics and a pressure opening feature giving a faster water displacement response and water rail effect producing a higher riding; smoother performing planar board.

  • Patent number: 7240724
Abstract: A monolithic refractory ceramic tube sheet for use in all-ceramic air-to-air indirect heat exchangers, the heat exchanger used in all temperature and all pressure applications. A method for forming the monolithic tube sheet includes casting a refractory ceramic in a mold, where portions of the mold comprise the housing of the heat exchanger. Precisely formed negatives are used to form through channels and vacancies within the tube sheet, which are precisely positioned within the mold allowing uniform and flush formation of openings which receive the ceramic tubes therein. The same mold is used to provide both tube sheets of a tube sheet pair allowing accurate alignment of tubes within the exchanger vessel resulting in ease of assembly and equal loading of tubes when in use.

  • Patent number: 7234743
Abstract: A vacuum driven light bulb changer. The device has a power source that energizes an electrical circuitry so that when the power switch is activated it energizes a motor that activates a vacuum pump. The activation of the vacuum pump draws air into the intake head on the vacuum cup. When the vacuum cup is place firmly against the outside surface of a light bulb, the vacuum creates a depressurized zone against the outside surface of the light bulb and the inside bottom surface of the vacuum cup allowing the turning of the light bulb.
