Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for selectively acquiring and targeting online advertising inventory based on users' Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. In one aspect of the invention, Web publishers are made aware of IP addresses of interest, determined by matching attributes of current Internet users for whom IP addresses are known and targeting attributes of ad campaigns. Then, for each site visitor from one of said IP addresses, publishers choose whether to supply ad inventory to fulfill the immediate demand. Another aspect of the invention provides for targeting of online ads based on updated user IP addresses and some associated personal data provided by ISPs. An embodiment of the invention provides for a localized online advertising network in which ad inventory is selectively acquired from web sites, as required to fulfill immediate advertiser demand, and targeted by user zip code, as registered with users' ISPs.

Abstract: A clutch basket is provided having an upper side with upstanding fingers. The fingers include opposing side edges that are engaged by tabs that extend from the periphery of a clutch drive disc. Each finger is provided with a wear resistant shield structure that overlies at least portions of the side edges that are contacted by the tabs. The basket underside includes shock absorbing springs fitted in pockets which are lined with wear-resistant inserts.
Abstract: Disclosed is a scalable, hybrid mobile network termed the Metropolitan Area Mobile Network (MAMN) based on a new dynamic mobile network protocol-DynaMo. DynaMo supports TCP/IP based communication between nodes, whether they are moving or stationary. DynaMo is a location-based routing technique that integrates MAMN, with wired TCP/IP networks (such as the Internet). Through the disclosed use of a modified Domain Name Services (DNS), communication between wired and wireless nodes, moving or stationary, is supported and is transparent to the end-user. DynaMo supports the use of multiple channels and implements a scheme for channel reuse. A hybrid encryption mechanism, based on public/private key pairs enables signed and secure communication.
Abstract: Disclosed is an electrical box mud ring member adapted to either receive an electrical device or receive an extending member adapted to both receive an electrical device and be elevated relative to the mud ring via one or more elevating fasteners. Either the mud ring member or the extending member, or both, have protrusions that maintain mechanical and electrical contact between the two members. The electrical box mud ring member preferably has frangible electrical device mounting plates.
Abstract: A three-dimensional printer adapted to construct three dimensional objects is disclosed. In an exemplary embodiment, the printer includes a first surface adapted to receive a bulk layer of sinterable powder, a polymer such as nylon powder; a radiant energy source, e.g., an incoherent heat source adapted to focus the heat energy to sinter an image from the layer of sinterable powder; and a transfer mechanism adapted to transfer or print the sintered image from the first surface to the object being assembled while fusing the sintered image to the object being assembled. The transfer mechanism is preferably adapted to simultaneously deposit and fuse the sintered image to the object being assembled. The process of generating an image and transferring it to the object being assembled is repeated for each cross section until the assembled object is completed.

Abstract: Disclosed is a hitch adaptor adapted to engage a tow plate via a tow ball skirt or base, a tow ball shaft or fastener and a nut or locking device and adapted to receive support structures such as stanchions having deployable panels as seats.
Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus for testing a non-invasive blood pressure measurement device wherein a blood pressure monitor, a blood pressure cuff, and a blood pressure simulator are pneumatically connected and the blood pressure cuff is inserted into the aperture of an expansion-limiting or cuff volume constraining element. A cuff volume constraining device is made of flexible material having one or more apertures for constraining cuff volume during cuff expansion during blood pressure measurement device testing.

Abstract: Disclosed is a real-time pulse sorting apparatus of a preprocessor in a pulsed radiation detection system. The apparatus, responsive to digital signals generated by a system receiver, uses the instantaneous frequency as the address input to store discrete data groups in main memory. Each data group, comprising the digital data corresponding to a single analog-to-digital converter sample point, includes the RF signal amplitude, inter-channel phase difference, instantaneous frequency as well as a unique pulse number generated by the pulse sorting apparatus. The present invention further includes a TOA memory for storing the time-of-arrival of each pulse at an address given by the pulse number. The main memory, organized in the form of a frequency-based histogram, together with the TOA memory, linked to the main memory by means of the pulse number pointer, sorts and records RF signal data with minimal processor control and intervention.
