Abstract: An earring stabilizer for assisting in the support of an earring, especially for use with earrings for pierced ears. The stabilizer comprises an extension bar and a contact member, where the contact member preferably presents a concave surface for a comfortable fit adjacent to the eminentia conchae of the wearer's ear. The stabilizer is designed to attach to the earring behind the wearer's ear, where the earring is supported on the lobule of the ear.
Abstract: A substantially egg or tear drop shaped handle in which a segment, parallel to the major axis, has been cut away so as to provide a flat surface. Either end of the major axis of the substantially egg shaped handle or the non-rounded (i.e. pointed) end of the substantially tear shaped handle is adapted to receive, adapted to be received by, or integrally manufactured with, the item to be held by the handle. The flat surface is available as a thumb rest. Preferably the handle is of a size that when the thumb is against the flat side, the end of the major axis which is not attached to anything rests comfortably against a portion of the palm.
Abstract: A piano tuning pin apparatus for prevention of loosening of the piano string, i.e., of rewinding of a piano tuning pin, characterized by setting the tuning pin constructed additionally a brake structure having the impediment function against the rewinding on the circumference surface of the piano tuning pin and the fixing portion of pin having two putting pipes each other, to prevent loosening of the piano. Between a tuning hammer tip inserting part and a hole of the tuning pin, a brake structure is formed to take a projection having a suitable distance and height along with a circumference surface.
Abstract: An access floor system comprising (1) block panels made up of one or more panel units, (2) a groove structure defined by adjacent block panels, the groove structure capable of containing wiring, (3) lid panels for covering the groove structure, and (4) central locking plates to cover the spaces remaining at the juncture of lid panels and to lock the assembly together.
