Abstract: The invention relates to a banknote compartment for a till drawer or the like, which is defined by a bottom, sidewalls, a rear wall and a front wall and has a covering element which extends from the rear wall over a part of the length of the compartment which is measured between the rear wall and the front wall. Said covering element comprises a holding-down clamp for banknotes, near its free edge which is at a distance from the rear wall. The clamp can be pivoted about an axis which is parallel to the bottom and the rear wall, between a pressure position, in which said clamp is pre-stressed downwards in the direction of the bottom, and a lifted release position. At least one intermediate bottom dividing the banknote compartment into superposed partial compartments is arranged between the bottom of the compartment and the covering element, parallel thereto and at a distance therefrom. • Patent number: 7127817
Abstract: A shaving assembly for simultaneously applying a shaving preparation and removing hair in a single step includes a base having an upper end, a lower end and a hollow space between the upper and lower ends, whereby the hollow space defines an opening at the upper end of the base. The shaving assembly includes a receiver for a razor, such as a cartridge receiver for a razor blade cartridge, that is connected with the base and that is disposed at the opening at the upper end of the base. The cartridge receiver has a perimeter and the opening at the upper end of the base completely surrounds the perimeter of the cartridge receiver. The hollow space of the base is adapted for containing a shaving preparation, such as a soap cake, a liquid soap, shaving cream or a body wash and may be combined with skin beneficial ingredients and/or scent.

  • Patent number: 7111400
Abstract: A shaving aid delivery system for a shaving system includes a razor head having a reservoir for holding a shaving aid and a heating apparatus disposed adjacent the reservoir. The delivery system also includes a shaving strip disposed within the razor head, an actuator and an ejection port. The shaving strip is oriented to engage the skin of a user during a shaving stroke and the actuator electrically couples to the heating apparatus to cause volumetric expansion of the shaving aid when activated. The ejection port directs the shaving aid from the reservoir onto the shaving strip upon activation of the actuator.

  • Patent number: 7111401
Abstract: A detachable razor cartridge has blade seat and at least one blade having a rectilinear cutting edge. An in-line row of integral guard elements project in cantilever position from the blade seat and extend in spaced relation to and beyond the cutting edge of the blade so that the cutting edge of the blade is unobstructed along its entire cutting length. Enlargements at the free ends of the guard elements disposed forward of and in spaced relation to the blade cutting edge may be provided in a variety of configurations and arrangements for smooth skin engagement to control skin flow and limit the degree of blade cutting edge exposure to skin being shaved.

  • Patent number: 7103976
Abstract: A razor assembly is provided that includes a razor cartridge with one or more razor blades, a shaving aid body, a handle, and a linkage pivotally connected to the handle. The linkage is connected to the razor cartridge and the shaving aid body in a manner such that the razor cartridge and the shaving aid body are moveable relative to the handle. Movement of one of the razor cartridge or the shaving aid body in a first direction causes the other of the razor cartridge or the shaving aid body to move in a second direction substantially opposite the first direction. As a result, the positions of the shaving aid body and the razor cartridge are continuously adjusted to maintain the contact surface of the shaving aid body approximately co-planar with the cutting edges of the razor blades within the razor cartridge.

  • Patent number: 7083718
Abstract: A water boiler system for producing steam or hot water includes an apparatus for removing dissolved minerals from the boiler water without the use of water softeners or other chemical treatment agents. An electromagnetic flux producing device first treats water of the boiler system with alternating electromagnetic flux to cause nucleation of dissolved minerals in the bulk boiler water, rather than on boiler surfaces, with nucleated particles then accumulating into particulates which settle by gravity to a low area of the boiler. Water is continuously drained from the low area of the boiler and fed by a pump to a mechanical separator which continuously separates solids from the drain water and continuously passes cleansed water at a high temperature back to the boiler.
