Abstract: An integral display for a child's pacifier indicates whether it is clean and safe for the child's use. The pacifier has a selectable dial on its exterior rear face that allows the care-giver to select between “CLEAN” or “DIRTY”, depending on the status of the pacifier. Once the pacifier is properly cleaned, the care-giver would slide the indicator to display “CLEAN”. In such a manner, the care-giver would always be aware of the cleanliness of the pacifier and whether it would be safe to give to the child.
Abstract: A vehicle windshield wiper blade having multiple cleaning elements which are rotatable to provide a new cleaning surface is herein disclosed. The wiper blade is arranged such that two (2) rubber blades and one (1) bristle brush are in contact with a windshield surface at all times during use. The wiper blade allows is rotatable and lockable in ninety degree (90°) increments as needed, thereby extending a useful life. The wiper blade is supported by a rod structure which is attached to an existing vehicle wiper arm in a conventional manner. As the wiper blade traverses the windshield, the brush scrubs the windshield, removing splattered and stuck-on debris, while the outer blades sweep water and residue away.
Abstract: A device which aids in the insertion and removal of tree steps within a tree, particularly during hunting, is herein disclosed, comprising an offset “L”-shaped crank with an upper end that has a hole which slips over the step portion of the tree step. An offset lower end of the crank comprises an outward facing rotating handle. To use the device, the user inserts a tree step into the tree using its pointed end, the device is slid over the step, and the step is cranked into the tree using the increased leverage provided by the device. Should the step need to be removed, the process is reversed by turning the device in a counter clockwise manner.
Abstract: A pair of work gloves with an attached directional illumination device is disclosed. A miniature illumination device is affixed thereto the back of the hand area of the work glove via hook-and-loop fasteners. The lighting device takes the form of a small enclosure that houses batteries and a lens with a reflected array of forward facing high-intensity light emitting diodes (LED's). A pushbutton switch is located on top of the case for on/off operation. In use, the apparatus provides a high level of illumination directly in front of the person's hands allowing use while working at night, when light levels are low, as well as in cramped areas where nearby objects restrict the effectiveness of remote lighting devices. The invention is especially valuable in situations where it is impossible to hold a flashlight such as when one needs both hands to perform work.
Abstract: A pie dough cutter comprising a removably attachable handle providing decorative patterns to be added to the top of a pie crust is herein disclosed. The dough cutter comprises different designs for stamping a portion of crust providing decorative elements. After a pie crust is prepared a desired decorative pattern is pressed through the dough, which is then placed onto a pie prior to baking.
Abstract: An all-in-one home appliance that performs the preparation, mixing and heating of multiple infant bottles, is herein disclosed. The apparatus comprises a countertop appliance with three (3) reservoirs comprising water, formula, and cereal, respectively. Inside the base of the appliance is a turnstile that holds up to five (5) empty bottles that have been previously sterilized by the user. In operation, the user would select the bottle size and the necessary recipe of water, formula, and cereal, respectively, using an integral control panel. At this point, internal control circuitry dispenses pre-heated water and dry ingredients in proper ratios into a mixing chamber. After mixing of the ingredients, the mixture is delivered into the proper sized bottle. Finally, internal heaters maintain the bottles at a constant selected temperature. An automatic alarm is then sounded when the prepared bottles are ready. This apparatus ensures preparation of baby bottles having consistent ingredients, mixing, and heating.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a portable radio frequency (RF) paging system providing conventional beeping, vibration, and illumination alarms as well as playing or transmitting a pre-recorded message to a responder. The paging system comprises transmitter and receiver modules. The transmitter portion of the paging system is to be capable of digitally recording a verbal message for replay or transmission to the receiver upon initiation of a page. The receiver portion of the paging system is housed within a pen-shaped enclosure which may be conveniently attached to a responder's pocket while also functioning as a normal writing instrument.
Abstract: The invention as presently conceived discloses a personal garment apparatus resembling a holster-like shoulder bag that is worn over a person's shoulder having a plurality of pouches and pockets to store and transport various articles. The presently defined preferred embodiment consists of: three front pockets for a cell phone, a palm pilot, a USB key, a MP3 player, money clip, etc.; another larger zipper pocket situated behind the flap pockets to hold flat items like a checkbook, a passport, tickets, etc.; an adjustable strap to customize the shoulder fit for most people; and, a set of attachment clips allowing the invention to be reversed for wear on either shoulder. Besides being a new fashion accessory, the invention's functionalities are intended to provide easier access and increased comfort when compared to similar items being carried on a belt, about the waist or in pockets.
Abstract: A golf swing training device to aid a golfer in keeping their wrists in a proper position throughout a golf swing includes a golf club grip clip, an adjustable spacer rod, and a wrist strap. The wrist strap includes an adjustable and securable fabric strap which engages the golfer's wrist. The wrist strap is affixed to the length adjustable spacer rod which is in turn attached to the grip clip. The grip clip engages the grip end of the golf club such that the golfer's wrists are confined to a predetermined distance and angle during a golf swing for purposes of training. The device may be used singularly or as a pair, if desired, to allow for simultaneous training of both wrists.
Abstract: An integral vapor barrier for use on electrical boxes located in external walls of structures is herein disclosed. The vapor barrier is applied to, or forming an integral part thereof, an interior surface of an electrical cover plate and particularly useful for exterior electrical boxes prior to installation. The vapor barrier extends outwardly therefrom the exterior periphery of the electrical cover plate at a distance to ensure a total barrier. It can be used on new construction as well as remodeling work. When in place, it greatly reduces heat loss or gain through electrical boxes and stops drafts around said boxes. It can be used in any wall or ceiling that is typically insulated. It can even be used on inside walls to help with noise control and abatement as well.
Abstract: A sleeper apparatus for holding an infant designed to simulate the feeling of being held in a caregiver's arms is herein disclosed.
