The snow plow further including a plow blade including a retention apparatus constructed and arranged to slidlingly and disengageably secure the plow blade to the mounting upright(s) when the plow blade is in a working orientation. The plow blade includes a mold board, the mold board preferably being an aluminum extrusion. The aluminum extrusion will preferably include at least one attachment channel, more preferably a plurality of attachment channels, in which parts of the snow blade can be secured or anchored. The plow blade preferably includes first and second attachment channels and the retention apparatus preferably includes at least one retention member anchored in at least one of the attachment channels.
Abstract: A tonneau cover apparatus for securing a flexible cover about a cargo box of a pickup truck. The apparatus comprises the flexible cover and a support frame for attachment to the cargo box. The support frame has two opposing side rails, each of which have a lock engaging surface. The support frame further includes a pair of securing plate engagement members, each of which is secured to one of the respective opposing side rails. The apparatus further comprises a flexible cover securing plate attached to the cover and having first and second ends. The flexible cover securing plate includes a channel that extends between the respective ends. The flexible cover securing plate is engageable with the respective securing plate engagement members and additionally includes at least one locking member, preferably two locking members.

Abstract: Load-bearing devices, each including an overload indicator of the present invention interconnecting load bearing connectors, preferably elongated load bearing connectors are provided. In preferred embodiments, the load bearing connectors are chains, ropes, wire ropes, cables, straps and the like, preferably chain. The overload indicator includes a link having a strand of wire form material. The strand of wire form material having first and second portions, the first portion having a first strength; the second portion including a weaker segment having a second strength which is less than the first strength. The weaker segment preferably has a generally predetermined load bearing capacity or capability and is calibrated to reduce the load bearing capacity or capability of the overload indicator. Methods of making an overload indicator and a load bearing device including an overload indicators of the present invention are also disclosed.
Abstract: A self-adjusting snow plow for use with pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles is disclosed. The snow plow includes a mounting apparatus for attachment to a vehicle and a plow blade having first and second ends, a top, a bottom, a plurality of retention members and a rubber scraper. The mounting apparatus includes a pair of mounting uprights and a hitch tongue which is easily mounted in a hitch receiver which is secured to the front of a vehicle. The retention members are constructed and arranged to at least partially encircle and slideably engage one of the respective mounting uprights and the retention members allow the respective ends of the plow blade to slide upward relative to the mounting upright most proximate to that end of the plow while the other end of the plow remains generally in the same position relative to the mounting upright proximate that end of the plow blade.
Abstract: A climbing wall structure comprising of a primary frame and a plurality of wall panels is described. Each wall panel has a periphery adapted for abutment with an adjacent wall panel. Each wall panel is connected to adjacent panels with a mounting bracket, such that the wall panels form an integral exterior surface adapted for climbing. The primary frame and the wall panels are connected with kicker struts. Each kicker strut has a first end and a second end. The first end is mounted to a non-peripheral region of the wall panel. This differs from the prior art walls which connect kicker struts to angle iron or tube steel surrounding the periphery of a wall panel. Prior art walls are thus heavier, use more material, and not easily disassembled. In the present invention webbing is also used for positioning. A method for installing an artificial climbing wall structure is also described.
Abstract: Systems and methods of embossing flat pieces (such as thin cards and similar materials) that prevent the embossed pieces from sticking to each other during subsequent handling. In some embodiments, pieces are manufactured in rows and columns on a large sheet, with (typically) the distance between text embossed on adjacent rows and (particularly) the distance between texts embossed on cards from adjacent columns being constant. Cards that will be stacked immediately adjacent each other after the cards are cut from the large sheet have text embossed on them that varies, so that the cards cannot tightly nest against each other and stick together.

Abstract: A two channel surround sound audio circuit (surround sound circuit) includes a first amplifier, a second amplifier, two polarized input capacitors, and two polarized output capacitors. A first input line is coupled through one polarized input capacitor to a positive terminal of the second amplifier and to a negative terminal of the first amplifier. A second input line is coupled through the other polarized input capacitor to a positive terminal of the first amplifier and to a negative terminal of the second amplifier. The output of the first and second amplifier are connected to the first and second polarized output capacitors, respectively. A second embodiment of the surround sound circuit includes two amplifiers, two inverting amplifiers, and two balancing potentiometers. The output of a single amplifier is balanced with the output of a single inverting amplifier with a single balancing potentiometer.
Abstract: A wall-climbing accessory adapted for mounting onto a wall structure is described. The wall-climbing accessory comprises a resilient body that is flexible. The resilient body comprises an exterior surface and an edge. The exterior surface is configured to provide an engagement point capable of supporting a climber of the wall structure, whereby a climber may scale a wall structure by using the wall-climbing accessory. The edge is configured to substantially engage the wall structure such that, when affixed, the resilient body and edge impart a torsion force to the wall structure such that a flexible, friction fit is formed between the wall-climbing accessory and the wall structure. The wall-climbing accessory use only one primary fastener to attach to the wall structure and thus is less prone to rotation than prior art climbing holds. Furthermore, the resilient body is flexible and lighter when compared to prior art climbing holds.
Abstract: A retractable vehicle roof system for a vehicle having a rearward storage space includes a roof portion movable between a closed position and an open position. The roof portion is located above a body of the vehicle and proximate the rearward storage space when in the closed position. A lid is located above the rearward storage space when the roof portion is in the closed position. The lid is configured to descend into the storage space as the roof portion moves to the open position above the lid while substantially preserving a side profile of the vehicle and permitting storage space access. The roof portion is located above the lid when the roof portion is in the open position. A glide control arrangement is operatively connected to the lid and configured to direct motion of the lid when the roof portion moves between the open and closed positions.
Abstract: A tonneau cover is provided that is attached at its most forward end to an adjustable tensioning rail which spans the front end of a pickup truck box. The tensioning rail is adjustably attached at its outside edges to two side rails which are attached to the inside of a pickup box. The adjustable attachment of the tensioning rail to the side rails is accomplished by the use of a tensioning screw and two attachment blocks. As the tensioning screw is moved forwards and backwards by the use of the adjustment knob, the tensioning rail is moved in a corresponding manner. This adjustment is preformed when the tonneau cover is in the open position, and thus, allows a user to obtain the desired amount if tightness when the tonneau cover is subsequently placed in the closed position.
