Abstract: A signal representing an image generated by at least one photosensitive device is processed in real-time to supply, from a scene to be observed having a high dynamic range between the signals corresponding to the darkest areas and to the brightest areas, an image containing no blooming areas. Images of different sensitivities are formed from the same scene to be observed. The brightness level of each point on the most sensitive image is determined. This level is compared with a predetermined threshold. The signal of the most sensitive image is delivered to the display device, for each elementary point on the most sensitive image having a brightness level below the predetermined threshold. An image signal calculated according to the brightness levels of the same elementary point in the images of different sensitivities is delivered to the display device, for any other elementary point on the most sensitive image.
Abstract: In an apparatus without a helical movement, a reconstruction error considerably increases as a radiation angle increases. In a prior art embodiment, for example, a one-side value of the radiation angle is 9.5 degrees, and it is predicted that the reconstruction error at its periphery considerably increases. In a radiation imaging apparatus including a radiation generating source for radiating radiation to a subject, a rotating unit for rotating the subject exposed to the radiation from the radiation generating source, and a two-dimensional detector for detecting radiation, a distance between the radiation generating source and the two-dimensional detector is approximately set to a value equal to or more than 240 cm.
Abstract: A rotation seat for a vehicle has a seat, a rotating plate and a base plate. The seat is fixed on the rotating plate which has a nail member and a biasing member. The biasing member forces the nail member. The rotating plate is rotatably connected to the base plate through a first shaft. The base plate has a guide slot so as to regulate extent of the rotation of the rotating plate by guiding the nail member. The guide slot has a first slot and a second slot. The biasing unit forces the second slot through the nail member so as to make the rotating plate rotate from an operator's exiting position to a forward driving position.
Abstract: The invention provides new monoclonal antibodies and binding fragments thereof which recognize and immunoreact with cell surface antigens found on small cell lung cancer (SCLC) cells. The antibodies have tumor specificity and are useful for therapy, diagnosis, monitoring, detecting and imaging of SCLC disease and of patients having SCLC disease. The antibody-recognized SCLC-specific surface antigens can serve as targets for detecting, diagnosing, inhibiting or killing SCLC cells.
Abstract: This invention makes it possible to meet a requirement of high-quality image printing and high-speed driving of a semiconductor laser driver in a laser beam printer or the like while suppressing radiant noise. A laser circuit substrate includes a first wiring pattern and second wiring pattern connected to a main wiring pattern, a first circuit which is connected to the first wiring pattern and has a semiconductor laser element and a driving circuit for driving the semiconductor laser element, a second circuit which is connected to the second wiring pattern and compensates noise generated by the first circuit, a first capacitor which is connected to a first point in the first wiring pattern, and a second capacitor which is connected to a second point in the second wiring pattern.

Abstract: This invention generally relates to an exposure apparatus and an exposure method using EUV light. In one preferred form of the present invention, the exposure apparatus is arranged to expose a substrate to a pattern of an original by use of extreme ultraviolet light, and it includes a blaze type diffraction grating disposed so that light from a plasma light source is incident thereon, and an optical system for directing extreme ultraviolet light from the blaze type diffraction grating to at least one of the original and the substrate.
