Abstract: A specialized tool for utilization within the chute of a concrete truck enabling efficient direction of liquid concrete via a raised gripping edge and strategically shaped, replaceable/disposable head, wherein a generally semi-circular shaped head facilitates compatibility with the discharge chute of a cement truck for assisting in the direction and placement of concrete, a gripping edge facilitates a comfortably secure reach into the discharge chute of a cement truck for scooping, pulling, plugging or otherwise controlling the flow of concrete and a replaceable blade head provides long-term efficient usage thereof, thereby enabling a user to efficiently deposit, apply and manage fresh liquid concrete from a concrete truck's chute as the concrete is being discharged.
Abstract: An ambient light collecting bow sight having a light collecting filament, wherein the light collecting filament is preferably a scintillating fiber optic filament of sufficient length to enable extensive wrapping or winding of the fiber optic filament around a preferably translucent bow sight. The multiple wrapping or winding of an extensive strand of fiber optic filament provides the filament with more surface area in which to harness ambient light passing through the translucent bow-sight. A portion of the fiber optic filament is attached to a pin or crosshair of the bow sight, thus functioning as a lit targeting pin.

Abstract: A part-forming machine having an infrared vision inspection system and a method for verifying the presence, absence and quality of molded parts therein wherein an infrared vision system is utilized. At least one infrared sensor is used in conjunction with a part-forming machine, wherein the infrared sensor takes an image of the part and/or mold based on infrared radiation emitted by the part/mold. Based on the infrared image, the part-forming machine responds thereto by activating ejectors and reimaging the part/mold, or continuing with the next molding step.
Abstract: A part-forming machine having an in-mold integrated vision system and method therefor for verifying the presence, absence and quality of molded parts therein. The image of the mold and/or part is acquired at a substantially parallel angle relative to the image-capturing source thereby allowing the imaging of the mold while the mold is opening thus increasing the resolution, speed and accuracy of part-forming machine imaging systems.

The bag further includes an information bearing portion related to the parts contained within the bag, the information bearing portion showing information such as, but not limited to, two or more of manufacturer, manufacturer contact information, part description, catalog number, part identifying number, date of purchase, cost at purchase, quantity at purchase, quality, size, bar code identifier, color code identifier, or the like. Also provided are advantageous alternate constructions of the bag and of a rail system including a novel base.

Tilling machine comprises digging chain that moves between a raised position and a lowered position, a housing carried by front wheels and rear casters, a motor that drives front wheels to propel housing, a guide wheel that aligns tilling machine with trench upon a second pass, and a generally V-shaped plow, wherein the plow may be positioned on the front or the rear to collect and deposit the dirt surrounding the trench into the trench. A method of gardening/landscaping wherein a trench is dug by a first pass, soil amendments are added to the trench, and then on the second pass, the excavated dirt is plowed back into the trench and mixed with the amendments. A method of gardening/landscaping wherein vegetation cover between trenched rows is maintained thus utilizing only the ground area that is needed for planting.
Abstract: A firearm heat sink is provided that may be easily affixed to, and removed from, a firearm. The heat sink is provided with a plurality of cooling fins. In a preferred embodiment, the firearm heat sink is held in place by a cooperating collet and ring on each end of the heat sink. In an alternate embodiment, the firearm heat sink is formed in halves and is mechanically fastened together about the barrel of the firearm. In either embodiment, an underlying heat conducting material optionally may be added to insure a proper thermal path between the firearm and the heat sink.

Abstract: Camouflage covering fabricated by the method of attaching dyed jute strands to netting, wherein the netting is placed over an individual or object to be camouflaged. The covering may be formed as an integral garment, such as a hooded poncho, or may be attached to clothing such as a battle dress uniform (BDU) to form a ghillie suit. The covering may be draped over an object such as a weapon, vehicle, equipment, or supplies. The present invention allows for quick, cost-effective creation of realistic three-dimensional camouflage coverings and apparel that are easily portable, naturally frayed in appearance, and securely assembled without the use of loops or snaps.
Abstract: A room conditioner provides an essentially uniform temperature within a room upon operation of a motor of a ceiling fan. The motor includes a stator supporting by a ceiling mounted shaft and a rotor supporting a set of fan blades of the ceiling fan for causing airflow upon energization of the motor. A heating element supported by the shaft and upwardly displaced from the ceiling fan heats air flowing therepast and a secondary fan responsive to the rotor via a sleeve about the shaft draws air past the heating element. Heated air flowing from the heating element is mixed with the airflow caused by operation of the set of fan blades to distribute warmed air uniformly throughout the space of the room wherein the room conditioner is located.
Abstract: In a preferred embodiment, the present invention comprises a layer having carpeted upper surface and/or other rubber-like padding material covered by a translucent, elastomeric sheet. The upper elastomeric layer may have downwardly depending projections that engage the carpeted upper surface of the inner padding layer, thereby reducing the likelihood of the upper elastomeric layer from slipping relative to the inner padding layer. The upper elastomeric layer is sewn or otherwise affixed to the carpeted surface to prevent slipping and creasing of the upper elastomeric layer relative to the padding during use. In addition, in a preferred embodiment for use on carpeted surfaces, the lower elastomeric layer may have downwardly depending projections that engage in the underlying carpet surface to reduce slipping of the device relative to the underlying surface. An overcovering material may be provided to further protect the upper elastomeric layer from excessive soiling.
